I had a stomach ache after every meal and by day three the mere smell of the food would make me feel like I was going to throw up. Maybe we got a bad batch but honestly I just want to warn people to be careful about this delivery service because some of the food tastes... tainted. I threw out the other days worth of food because I was so tired of feeling queasy from the meals. Also, I was really unimpressed by the ingredients. I've been utilizing them for almost 6 months now, and all the food I have tried has been really good with the exception of a single meal or two (mostly their Holiday meals). Food quality good. Food taste is good, but I still season slightly. Servings are a little small even for one person IMO. Took TF 2 tries to finally deliver Keto correctly (first time was Paleo, second time was vegetarian). Packaging, although convenient, is very wasteful as TF does not pick up and re-use the boxes like some other services. Styrofoam, freezer bags, etc. are wasteful to just throw away (even though TF SAYS that the packaging is recyclable, degradable, etc. I'm not buying it. I buzzed them in and they left it in my lobby. Not sure why they couldn't bring it to my door or let me know it was a food delivery. I tried a couple meals and they were awful. I've been using Trifecta for several months now. The clean meals are delicious! I've been really happy with these meals as I have IBS and am gluten intolerant. If I could give them zero stars I definitely would have done so. This place is a total ripoff, worst customer service, worst food, and definitely not worth the headache . I ordered from them the first time and specified no meat on the menu, why did I receive an entire box of meals containing meat in every single meal but one? I called to cancel and the person on the phone convinced me to give them another try, I said I could try them again but only in a few months because I would be traveling, they put a freeze on the account and said they would call me to make sure it was ok to unfreeze so that they could send out a box. No one called me and the box sat there for days until the smell finally caught the attention of one of the security guards in the building. I was in Mexico at the time and when returned, yet again another rotted box lay hidden from view behind the mailboxes. This happened 3 times and I was so annoyed that bobine even bothered to call me as I had requested. They replied with no worries, u have one more box coming and then we can cancel it. Excuse me??? U just sent me 3 boxes that ur delivery person dumped in the wrong place, and it came to me rotten and had to go straight to the trash and that's all you can say? I called TriFecta to ask about food allergies. I'm pescatarian and don't eat poultry or meat but they wouldn't allow you to mark all those things on their website when putting down food limitations. Spoke with someone at the company and they absolutely assured me that they fixed it on their end and that I wouldn't receive any meals with meat or poultry but I still couldn't pick my meals. They do that. So, I went with their minimum order - 7 meals. 2 weeks later, the box shows up. What's in it - 3 meals all containing chicken. I immediately email the company to tell them what's going on (it was after business hours). No one contacted me for 4 days. Finally, I receive an email saying I'll get a partial refund but they'll charge me for the meals received. I'm just furious with them by that point and started yelling that I needed a full refund. I finally did get that. But certainly will not recommend doing business with this company again. Very disappointed that they couldn't do a very simple thing. Trifecta exceeded my expectations as far as menu options. I was incredibly impressed with the complexity and variety of the food choices that arrived in my delivery. It inspired my cooking abilities and gave me ideas to try on my own. It was reassuring knowing all the food I was eating was clean and healthy. I have never found a meal service that cooks all organic, non gmo, free range, wild caught, grass fed food. The only thing I would change would be the packaging. It is vaccum sealed for freshness, but it makes the meal look initially unappetizing. I was really looking forward to Trifecta's meal delivery service as it would have saved me a lot of time, unfortunately that was not the case and in fact it ended up costing me time and money. I made my first order with Trifecta on February 24 which gave me a delivery date of Friday March 5. Fast forward to March 5 and my husband who also placed his first order the same week as me gets a tracking number about an hour before his delivery. I never receive a tracking number or notification that my order has been sent out so I inquire via email and am ultimately told that my order was delayed due to weather and my order will be arriving early the following week. I'm not sure if weather was the actual cause of the delay or if it just never got sent out but I did find it odd that my husbands order arrived to the same address without delay. After reading several reviews that report the same issue I decided to cancel my subscription. My order did arrive yesterday as promised but it was missing two items which I inquired about today and have asked for a refund but am yet to hear anything back at this point. To be fair it has only been one business day so I'm hoping to get a response in the next few days with an offer for a refund for missing items. The only reason I'm giving this business two stars is because everyone I have worked with up to this point has been friendly and they did cancel my subscription when asked to do so. They did also cancel my following weeks order and credited me back my money for the week they cancelled. The concept of this business is great, the execution of it is very poor. I wish I would have read the reviews before I tried them out. I wanted to update my review. Today Morgan reached out via email and phone call to me and refunded my money for the missing items. The customer service has never been an issue for me. This is my first venture into the food delivery service and I am very impressed. About a year ago I decided to go with a whole-food, plant-based diet and I failed miserably because I had neither the knowledge nor the time to do what I needed to ensure I was getting the required nutrients, vitamins, etc. I have now switched to Trifecta doing that for me and I must say that I have been very happy with my first week. The meals are very good, portions are excellent (something we ALL have a problem with in the US) and the variety is something I enjoy. I will stick with this for 6 months and go back to the DR to get my full blood work up done to see what the difference has been from one year ago, last week and after 6 months of Trifecta. Great meal ! Everything tastes good even the things I normally wouldn't eat, when they prepare it, it tastes good. It's a bit pricey for the portion of it but it's definitely worth. I wasn't even trying to lose weight or go on a diet but ever since I started eating their meals, I was eating balanced meals and since they're low calorie meals, I saw results pretty quickly. The best part is the customer service. They are usually very helpful and willing to help. I had lost two of my meals deliveries fault of UPS, when I told them they were able to refund everything instantly and it was that easy. I was nervous to go with precooked meals for two reasons. One, I was expecting TV dinner quality food, and two I questioned how fresh the food would stay during the week. After completing my first week I can happily say that neither of those concerns are an issue with Trifecta. Everything from the food to the customer service has been excellent so far. They offer many different meal plans for different lifestyles (Paleo, Vegan, Clean), but I chose the "Bulk" option which is an "a la carte" approach . This is great because it enables me to fine tune my macronutrients while allowing me to mix and match with any given meal. I know this will vary depending on area but I find the cost to be just about on par with what I pay at the local grocery store per 7 days which was nice. I was afraid the price would be insanely higher but that was not the case. All food arrives in a freezer box, surrounded in Styrofoam and ice packs which were still very cold upon opening. The foods are broken up into separate packages (often in 4-8oz increments but it varied), and each package is labelled and vacuum sealed to ensure freshness during the week. The food tasted very good all around in my opinion. I've seen some people complaining that the stuff is bland, and I don't want to speak for the company here, but I think those people are missing the point. It's about promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping people reach their fitness goals by eliminating one of the hardest parts of the process in cooking. The food is seasoned just enough to give it flavors, without masking the actual food or putting you in heart attack territory with sodium and other unsavory additions. I was also surprised by the quality of the meats provided. Again, I didn't quite know what to expect with precooked meals, but the chicken had almost non existent fat content and great flavor. The bison is nice and tender with minimal traces of fat, and the fish (Salmon, Cod) were cooked perfectly as well with zero bones. All in all I'm ecstatic about my experience with the company and will certainly be sticking with them moving forward. read more

Very unhappy with how they handle when the wrong items are shipped and it's never resolved even after phone calls are made. This happened to me twice and with no resolution after failed attempts by Trifecta I've cancelled my subscription and taking my money elsewhere. I absolutely LOVE Trifecta! I subscribe to the vegan plan and order lunch and dinner for Mon-Fri meals. It has been life changing and I look forward to maximizing my weekends since I don't have to spend all day Sunday shopping and meal prepping! There have been a couple snags with delivery and promotional offers for referrals, but the customer service and communication have been stellar. The vegan meals are delicious. My 1 complaint is that every meal that has quinoa as a base is really bland, which is surprising because everything else is really flavorful and spiced well! read more

Like mostly everyone, I've been looking for a sustainable and easier way to make my meal prep game more successful and to also become healthier. Well, Trifecta has allowed me to accomplish both of those goals. I'm down almost 16 lbs and the best part is, I'm eating food that's delicious and is already made for me. Whether you want to plate your meals yourself and go the a la carte route (I do that on the weekends) or take full advantage of the pre-made complete meals, you simply can't go wrong. It's easy to switch meal plans on the fly (I'm trying the Paleo next) and the food comes directly to my door every Friday.
