Shady operators. Received first delivery on Friday midnight and card was charged for next delivery before first arrived. Didn't even have a chance to try it nor did I receive an email saying another shipment was being ordered. This is my first review ever so I feel strongly this is the wrong way to do business. Ps. Food is not delicious at all. Lots of onions and very bland. read more

I've been using trifecta for awhile now and the meals definitely come in handy! They are delicious and sooo convenient. In all honesty, I've had a couple issues with shipping, but they have been resolved almost immediately - whether they ship out a new box or refund me for something I'm missing, they always do their best to make it right. I received a box recently that had a damaged meal in it due to shipping issues and when I contacted trifecta for help, I got a quick and extremely helpful response from Emily Barnes. She helped resolve my issue and was very friendly as well! Thanks Emily & Trifecta ! read more

Great company! Meals are awesome & customer service top notch will be using them for a long time!

The meals are great and customer service is wonderful as well. Also, shout out to Kenzie!!!

I had to get a refund from my recent order due to weather issues. I just wanted to say that it was an easy process and Kenzie R. was fantastic and sorted me out. Thanks Kenzie and Trifecta, I really like the product so far. read more

Great food! Makes life so much easier. Kenzie R. Was super helpful when I needed to pause during travel.

Wow. The food sucked but most importantly they have the worst customer service ever. Hands down. They only refunded me for 10 meals even though they all pretty much sucked. There were only 4 that were decent and edible. Also, you receive your shipment AND have to skip weeks/cancel on Fridays. So basically you order your first box and it gets delivered on Friday. That same Friday they bill you for your next box before you even have a chance to try it. And then to top it all off they will only refund you for 10 meals....even if you're unhappy with all of them. Seriously, stay away from Trifecta at all costs. read more

I am rating and commenting on my ordering and customer service experience. The website is great and easy to use. The FAQs answered all of my questions quickly. I wanted to have my order come bi-weekly rather than weekly, and I forwarded my order confirmation to the customer service email address with this request. Within 15hrs (the next morning) I had received a response from Emily Aulert who had adjusted my order frequency and confirmed with upcoming order and payment processing dates. So far my experience with Trifecta has been great, and I'm looking forward to trying the a la carte foods that I have ordered. read more

I have always gotten great meals an a variety - they taste excellent when cooked, as suggested, in the air fryer. I need to put my account on pause for a while and Kenzie R. was great and responsive in offering me a variety of options. read more

I gave Trifecta a thorough try by enrolling in the clean meal plan for a few weeks. I was appalled at the quality of food that you get for the very expensive price. I can't tell you how many times I got the same variations of meals with potatoes randomly mixed in. I don't understand the obsession with potatoes but they were always mushy and gross. The chicken was also always dry and disgusting. I could never recommend this service. Save your money and time. This is essentially healthy cafeteria food that charges gourmet prices per meal. You will not look forward to eating these meals. Oh also, they are super shady (as noted in other reviews). It's easy to sign up but a hassle to cancel, their online chat is useless on the website. If you can sign up online why can't you cancel online? Oh because you want your customers to jump through hoops or forget to cancel to sneak in an extra delivery of the cafeteria food on your way out. read more

Thank you Kenzie for your excellent service with putting my account on hold. Quick and Easy!

I have to join others in saying the food is, on whole (I had a couple that were decent), not good. Each meal tastes like the last one. Sweet potato in 90%+ every meal plus a protein and a grain. I got very excited when one of my meals had three pieces of broccoli because it was something different. In addition there are repeats in a 14 serving order. Surely they can come up with some flavorful, differentiated meals The meals are vacuum sealed which I appreciate. That does ensure safety and freshness but it also smashes everything together. So each meal is essentially one mashed up mess. Very unappealing on every level! I've cancelled after one week but not before the next week's order was fulfilled. I dreaded getting them. I have to push through to eat them because I don't want to throw away $300 but I may end up throwing a good portion away. On the good side - the ingredients are clean and healthy and I have lost weight. So if you want to lose weight and can push through eating the food you're good. I see they are reading these posts. I truly hope they take the criticism to heart. They can do better to keep the ingredients separated and to make sure each meal doesn't taste exactly like the last one just with a different protein. There are other clean healthy ingredient products out there so I hope they work on this. read more

I was a member for about six months and decided to cancel around the holidays. Kate Murphy responded quickly with stating she would hold my account and check back after the holidays. She kept her word and contacted me before another order was sent out. I decided to cancel and she again was very courteous and professional and agreed to cancel for me. This food service company is really topnotch. The food was great and always exactly what it claimed to be and delivered timely. The customer service was very easy to work with and if I do go back to using this service its because I know I can put a hold on my membership or cancel and without any problems. read more

This is a review for their customer service. Great customer service, Kenzie R was knowledgable, helpful, and went beyond to make sure that our needs were met!

Here it is, the day after Christmas and I am failing at using technology. One would think I am 1000 years old, but Kenzie R. I didn't receive one of my weekly shipments because of an issue with the courier, so I emailed Trifecta to voice my concerns. I'd highly recommend them for anyone who wants good tasting quality meals without the hassle of food prep. read more

So I ordered Keto meals. Twice a day 7 days a week I pay a pretty penny so I expect to get my meals right? Wrong. My meals Never showed up on its delivery day. No one emailed me and no one called me. I couldn't get a hold of anyone from customer service either. Finally after several emails- I get a response. Well according to them my meals were delayed to the the fires. However, the food prep is done in Anaheim (close to my address). Plus another representative told me they lost my package of meals! So then they tell me my meals will arrive during the weekend- Never happened. Then I was told I would receive tracking by Monday and receive shipment Tuesday. So I stayed home All day and guess what?- Nothing arrived! Late afternoon Tuesday they tell me yet again another delay. Yet again another fail. Finally my meals arrive Wednesday late afternoon. This company is unreliable. If you opt out of emails apparently you don't get to find out your tracking number either. They made nothing but excuses when they called Finally on Tuesday. They Said I opted out of emails, so I would Not have got an email letting me know that my entire 7 day delivery was delay... you'd think in this situation they would reach out-NOPE. Please take in mind I work at a hospital long hours, and I was relying on these meals to help me get through the week. I took one of my meals from my previous order for lunch and the beef tasted sour. The expiration date was not passed due... So I went without a lunch that day. Also for this delivery company you cannot exclude more than 2 items, and if you have an allergy it's also included as part of your exclusion. So mine was game meat and shell fish. So even though I told them the cod fish did not taste good,,,,well they went ahead and gave me 4 meals consisting entirely of cod fish. The rep who called me made nothing but excuses said she reached out multiple times.... ha. She didn't call me till Tuesday. I already been without meals or a real explanation since Friday. What a shame. I need a meal delivery I can count on so I can stick to my diet. Five -6 days of a delay is unacceptable. ****Consumer Beware!**** read more

Explain to me the difference between having a "pause permanently button" and a "pause individual weeks button" if not to psychologically trick you into ordering more weeks. Plated, macro Oc meals, freshly, zen foods, purple carrot, blue apron, factor, home chef, home chef. Back when Trifecta started a few years ago, they had a 21 day challenge: eat Trifecta for three meals a day for three weeks. I decided to give it a try with the Clean meals. It was rough starting because I was pretty unhealthy (think fried, sugary, and processed), and Trifecta is none of these. But after the initial shock, I was really pleased. Unexpected wins: felt great physically (lost 7 pounds!), no afternoon slump, increased confidence, and no guilt over my eating habits. I now switch between the Classic and Clean meals. Sometimes I'll take a few weeks or a month off (they let you skip from your account), but I always end up coming back. They make it so easy to be healthy, and I need that because I suck at it. read more

NOT ORGANIC. DO NOT ORDER. I've been a member for about 3 months, and in that period, my order has been on time only once. One week it didn't even show up. Three weeks ago, I was eating one of my meals, the chicken and bell pepper dish, and I found a produce sticker in my food. This sticker was for a Werita Bell Peppers, a product of Mexico. I started researching Werita, which anyone reading this review can do online as well, and as it turns out they don't produce organic vegetables. I was socked. Trifecta advertises that they only use organic vegetables, and this an obvious breach of trust and a lie. So I decided to reach out to Trifecta for an explanation. It took two weeks and multiple attempts to get an answer. They basically came back and said that I'm lying and that sticker didn't come from them. A company that lies so overtly, and misleads its consumers regarding their nutrition does not deserve your trust or business. Please help spread this story and hold Trifecta accountable. read more

Trifecta - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Sacramento, California

The food is generally pretty good but can't say i look forward to every single meal. Only issues that i've had is some of the food spoiling in the fridge before the expiration date. Customer service and meals tasted great. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the meals got a bit repetitive. Again, customer service on point and Kenzie R did a phenomenal job with squaring my account away. read more

There are several reasons for my one star. 1. Shipping took 5 days. So the cutoff for pausing or canceling service after trying is past before you get to try the food. So don't plan around the shipping date of your fresh never frozen food so you can immediately bring it in. Luckily I was home on day it came. I wouldn't recommend meat or you might get sick. 5-6 shipping for fresh food kept cold by cold packs in styrofoam. 2. Impossible to get in touch/cancel service. Phone calls never EVER connected to a person. Text on website never connected to a person. Finally resorted to email but being told tough toenails. THEIR GUARANTEE ON THEIR WEBSITE IS NOT UPHELD. 3. Received a free gift of beef with my VEGAN meal plan. :/ 4. Most of the meals had a disgusting "beyond beef" patty. 5. Bland all mixed together food. 6. Not worth the price or frustration. 7. I cannot think of one positive thing about this service. 8. They don't allow reviews on their Facebook or website. So their customer reviews are... fake or handpicked... paid for... read more

Trifecta - They don't uphold this guarantee - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Sacramento, California

This week, throwing most trifecta meals in trash. They are terrible. First week was good! Actually I was very excited as I thought I found my new healthy easy food solution. This week they sent me mostly overcooked beef. I only eat beef a few times a month & medium rare. They basically sent me leather & 5 of 10 meals beef!! They don't even seem edible. So disappointed. I'm changing menu option to custom vs paleo, if that doesn't work, switching companies. Many competitors to choose from. No easy way to contact them. They don't ask for feedback. Correction: I tried to write on chat line.... Although I didn't get an answer, I got a partial refund! That's great! I'll keep trying them & see if custom menu option is better. read more

I'm leaving it at one star, because I still have a conflict with their business practices, and my experience still stands. I think everyone should still know of the way they conduct themselves, and what you are in for as a customer. However, only after leaving a review did their manager reach out, both by phone and email, asking for my "feedback" - even though I had already provided all of that to the agent that called me to discuss my issues on the phone, and to tell me there was nothing she could do. I told their manager than there needs to be more empowerment provided to their agents, as it should never have reached this point, and that they need to seriously overhaul the way they communicate (or her word "miscommunicate") with their customers. There should not be a procedural flaw that makes it so that a customer does not receive crucial updates. And why should that fall on the customer, if so? Anyway. We did reach a resolution, and she seemed willing to listen, although, I still won't order from them in the future. For the portions, I got, for the lack of the customization (especially on the keto menu, the newer menu she said), and the digestion problems I had, on top of my experience, I would definitely not give them repeat business. read more

My biggest complaint as echoed by others is the sheer lack of customer service. After receiving my order 3 days late because of weather (which is fine) I immediately tried to figure out how to cancel my subscription. NO ONE ANSWERS the call, no one gets on the chat AND no one answered my email. And then today I get a notification that my next delivery is being sent when I still have a ton of food from just getting my delivery monday AND even worse I don't even want it. The fact that they are so shady about how to cancel and the atrocious customer service are two reasons I would think twice about ever ordering from them again. UPDATE - Well of course immediately after writing this review I got through finally and was able to speak with someone who helped me out (and made me happy again) but if anyone from trifecta reads this, your app should have far more information and ways to control your subscription like other apps such as freshly, because clearly customer service isn't working out so well. read more

I have been subscribed for 6 weeks. 5 of those weeks my deliveries were delayed from 2 days to 5 days. No solution or goodwill was presented, just "sorry" and move on. I understand things happen, but this happened 90% of the time, this is the definition of poor service. This is the most expensive meal prep service on the market. I have used homechef and freshly, both companies have far superior service and less of a cost. Food quality is equal as well. It makes no sense to join trifecta. My advice, join any other subscription. I will be. read more

I really, really, really wanted to like Trifecta. I even wrote a positive four star review after having the first meal. I erased that and am writing this. I'm canceling the program after the first week of meals, and throwing out what I have not eaten. As others noted, you have to pay for the meals one week in advance, so if you don't like the service, you're already prepaid for the next week. The first meal was good -- lime cilantro shrimp. Then I wrote a positive review. It was all downhill from there. I had the salmon dinner resulting in severe stomach pains for two days. When that resolved, I tried another shrimp dinner and was up half of last night with gastrointestinal issues. I nuked these meals until they were piping hot so whatever was in them survived even that. I tried a few chicken dishes but whatever rice or starch was included is a dry clumpy mess even though the chicken piece itself was decent. The "beef enchilada" is just crumbled burger and greasy, on top of a soft (wet) flour taco. For the same or less, I can go to the supermarket and buy a week of frozen Amy's bowls or even get take out from many restaurants (which seemed expensive before but not compared to $15/meal for this). I got a call yesterday from a service rep who had read my four star yelp review and wanted to address some of my complaints. That seemed like a decent start. But he said he'd email me his contact info for any further issues and I got nothing. He added credit for the salmon debacle - good. I hadn't yet had the shrimp explosion so he didn't know about that. I have credit pending on my account because they sent me some wrong meals (2 paleos that were crumbled hamburger when I am on the clean plan), plus the salmon dinner that caused problems. Since I"m canceling, they are not going to refund that credit to me and on top of it I'm already paid on two full weeks of meals and only ate about 6 of the 14 in the first shipment. Expensive mistake. Trifecta is an awesome concept. From a scientific standpoint it must not be easy to prepare food in a way that it stays fresh and hydrated enough to be appetizing on reheating days later. Whether it's frozen or refrigerated. Also, Trifecta is sending recipes that are just plain gross like plain, underseasoned and greasy crumbled beef - why not just send a hamburger? It would be ok to send a bun separately and only have us heat part of the meal and assemble it after. Trifecta's issues show me why the "meal kit boxes" are more popular because those result in fresh cooked meals if you have time to do the work. Reheating a cooked and vacuum sealed meal days later is not comparable - yet. read more

Kenzie R from customer support was a pleasure to deal with! She helped me with some questions regarding my account.

I placed 1 order with Trifecta and then paused my future orders until I could try the food. Some of the food was edible, some was not and went into the garbage. I spoke to a rep in chat and told her I did not want future orders until I tried the food and that it was very expensive, the rep offered to give me 1 additional meal and when my order arrived, I never got the additional meal and I was charged again on 4.29.2023. I called Customer Service to cancel and refund my money as it was still processing from just 2 days ago in the account and was told no refund you must cancel 7 days prior to. So they have taken my money even though I stated I did not want any further renewals. I would never order from this company again as they just take your money. I could understand had the order already been shipped, but it is still processing from the payment! This place is not a reputable company to do business with. read more

I came on here to leave a 5 star review and was surprised to see there are people who rated 1 star! Honestly I love this company. I have IBS and dealt with leaky gut for over a year, I fixed it with very restrictive eating and eventually found trifecta. For someone as picky as me with food, THEY GET THE JOB DONE. I usually add more veggies to the Keto plan so one meal is two servings for me. Their customer service is also great. If I were to give feedback I would say I'd like more options to add allergies (for example tomatoes really hurt my stomach but they are not under their short allergy list). And also I'd have less freezer packs or make them more environmentally friendly. Other than that, the food tastes delicious and the prices are very reasonable. read more
