In all honesty, I've had a couple issues with shipping, but they have been resolved almost immediately - whether they ship out a new box or refund me for something I'm missing, they always do their best to make it right. I received a box recently that had a damaged meal in it due to shipping issues and when I contacted trifecta for help, I got a quick and extremely helpful response from Emily Barnes. They ingredients are really high quality. All the meats are top quality and the fish is wild caught. You can tell a lot of thought was put into these meals instead of just being thrown together. This really is for people who want a healthy and more convenient way to get their food. Trifecta really caters to diet plans suggested by doctors. It's hard to figure out what to eat in order to stick to those prescribed diet plans and thats where this meal plan really shines. Good food service. I tried the custom meal plan and highly recommend the cod as protein. This is a good meal service for people with little time to prep good food. I've tried other meal prep services but Trifecta is the best by far. Because they vacuum seal their food, the texture and flavors are maintained and retain a fresh quality (which I was quite pleasantly surprised). I did have an issue with my deliveries however, but it is due to the unique complexity of where I live. Due to this the delivery service failed to deliver my food on multiple occasions. I doubt this would be an issue for normal addresses. I will say though that their customer service is exemplary. They have solved all of my issues to satisfactory, including my undelivered packages. Krista was very nice and helped me with all of my concerns/issues and in a very timely manner. Would totally recommend to others just based on the good customer service alone. read more

We turned to Trifecta recently after getting a celiac diagnosis in the family, and it's been a great way to supplement to our normal meal prep. We needed a trustworthy service that was celiac-friendly (since "gluten free" meals can still be cross-contaminated in facilities that also process wheat), and Trifecta solved this for us. We keep a bunch of meals stocked in the freezer so that we have something in a pinch (or when we're lazy). They are very simple meals without any crazy spices/sauces, which is something we also needed (because of other dietary concerns). I have to join others in saying the food is, on whole (I had a couple that were decent), not good. Each meal tastes like the last one. Sweet potato in 90%+ every meal plus a protein and a grain. I got very excited when one of my meals had three pieces of broccoli because it was something different. In addition there are repeats in a 14 serving order. Surely they can come up with some flavorful, differentiated meals The meals are vacuum sealed which I appreciate. That does ensure safety and freshness but it also smashes everything together. So each meal is essentially one mashed up mess. Very unappealing on every level! I've cancelled after one week but not before the next week's order was fulfilled. I dreaded getting them. I have to push through to eat them because I don't want to throw away $300 but I may end up throwing a good portion away. On the good side - the ingredients are clean and healthy and I have lost weight. So if you want to lose weight and can push through eating the food you're good. I see they are reading these posts. I truly hope they take the criticism to heart. They can do better to keep the ingredients separated and to make sure each meal doesn't taste exactly like the last one just with a different protein. There are other clean healthy ingredient products out there so I hope they work on this. read more

I've been using Trifecta over a year now and in my opinion it's the best meal delivery service in the marketplace. I've used many other companies and most of them were very good but Trifecta takes it to the next level! I lost 50 pounds following a balance diet (tracking my macros) using Trifecta. Here's what I love about the service; 1) Clean food (nothing processed) - you're not tricked into thinking you're eating healthy. You are eating healthy! 2) Support of any type of diet you may be on. I'm a fan of just a clean balanced diet. I've eaten 190 grams of protein, 200 grams of carbs and 60 grabs of fat during my 50 pound weight lost (see you don't have to cut out carbs). I'm 170 pounds now. But if you're a fan of Keto, Paleo, Vegan and more - Trifecta supports it. Get crazy and switch it up! 3) They vacuum seal their food. This is big! Their food lasts about 12 days refrigerated. That's the longest I've seen in the marketplace. The results - you waste less food. 4) Farm raised, fresh caught and supplied by level 4 animal friendly farms. I care about animals and how they are treated and truly believe it's unhealthy to consume meat from animals under extreme stress. 5) Eco-friendly packaging. 6) A life saver during COVID. Great customer service experience with Will H typically use this service when I travel or won't be around to meal prep on my own. Their site only allows you to pause the service for 4 weeks. If you call, they can put a freeze on your account for an extended period. Good variety of nutritious foods. Trifecta saves me a ton of time. EDIT- unfortunately the Holiday Freeze program did not work out for me! The site does not give any indication that your account has been manually paused. Since it does not show a status, I paused the order myself. Doing so overrode the extended freeze which was confirmed. How I was supposed I know that ?‍ I was charged for an order that I will not be around to accept. The root cause of my issue stems from the fact that you can only opt out 4 weeks at a time. With my busy schedule I need a service where I can opt in when needed. read more

So when I was referred to Trifecta by a friend in 2016, I figured it was worth a shot. Over two years and hundreds of Trifecta meals later, I remain a happy customer. I use their Paleo meal plan currently for my lunches and dinners during the work week, and in the past I loved the A La Carte menu when I was using a macro-counting weight loss plan with awesome success. My favorites are ANYTHING with salmon and chicken, but their steak is killer, too. My husband loves the beef and bison burgers, and my kids occasionally steal the burgers, too. I've tried MANY (maybe all) food services. This is the best cooked food by far. I have the a la carte plan and can mix and match my meals. Add seasoning to the meat if I feel like it, but it doesn't needs it! They season just enough and the texture is unbelievable! With the food never being frozen, only chilled after vacuum seal, it heats up nice in the microwave and is always moist. Once, My shipped food was stolen and I called (even though I knew full well they had no responsibility.) They overnighted my full order and I had it by Monday. It was above and beyond! I am cancelling my subscription as I've had a lot of issues with the company - primarily, with their macro counts, actual weight of meats and messing up my orders. It's a shame but I'd rather save the money and prep myself if I have to weigh and measure everything they send me. At that point it's not worth the money. While the food tastes good most of the time, I've have had the following main issues with their service: 1. On multiple occasions the macros for their classic meals are wildly off in either direction. When I ask customer service as to why, I get differing answers. 2. The weight of their steak and bison varies - not every portion is 4oz. Some are 3.5, some are 3, some are 5...I've received multiple packages with meats that are underweight and a few overweight. 3. Freezing the steak and heating it up is gross. It doesn't freeze well at all. 4. They are constantly screwing up my order, promising free meat, and never giving it. As a result, I'm going back to prepping my own meals. Please get your quality control together! read more

I placed 1 order with Trifecta and then paused my future orders until I could try the food. Some of the food was edible, some was not and went into the garbage. I spoke to a rep in chat and told her I did not want future orders until I tried the food and that it was very expensive, the rep offered to give me 1 additional meal and when my order arrived, I never got the additional meal and I was charged again on 4.29.2023. I called Customer Service to cancel and refund my money as it was still processing from just 2 days ago in the account and was told no refund you must cancel 7 days prior to. So they have taken my money even though I stated I did not want any further renewals. I would never order from this company again as they just take your money. I could understand had the order already been shipped, but it is still processing from the payment! This place is not a reputable company to do business with. read more

I Love this company! The meals are delicious and healthy and have helped me maintain optimum health. I feel strong and nourished. A little more variety would be wonderful if a person is ordering 7 meals for the week but I can appreciate that they are cooking in bulk. I especially like taking this pre packaged heathy meal to work with me when I know I can't get my hands on a good meal mid day. They are super easy to work with and you can access your account online and skip weeks when you need to. They are great at offering discounts to give you a chance to try something new. Trifecta's meal prep service has been great for me. I started off doing full meals, but have since switched to proteins only. I love the quality of the food, and the customer service with Kenzie R. has always been excellent as well. They're willing to work with you on what types of foods/meals and shipping schedule works best for your lifestyle. Not just on their meal prep services, (as the food is delicious), but mainly on their level of customer service. I spoke with Anjeleah G today and she was not only super friendly, but also patient and efficient in answering all my questions. I do believe that customer service will make or break any business. I've personally boycotted a brand or 2 (That I've REALLY liked!) merely because of how poor their customer service was, but not Trifecta. I got these meals as part of my V-Shred. Meals are ok in a pinch. Wish you could limit more than just 1 ingredient, but that's all good. What I am a huge fan of is Travis Cosgaya. I went to the wrong site and ordered a meal program. Found out it was not what I wanted to do. Travis contacted me and cleared everything up. He did this after noticing an issue. I tried Trifecta for a few months and food was good, came vacuum wrapped in plastic containers. A few weeks ago they changed their menu, no longer vacuum pack and changed to flimsy cardboard containers. The food is now horrible, leaks thru the paper containers, stunk up my refrigerator and was not edible. They have very poor customer service and never respond to billing disputes. Instead, they ignore emails, ignore requests to cancel service and ship food anyway. Very, very disappointing and not ethical. read more

I haven't yet tried the food, but I did have a very good customer service experience. I signed up for Trifecta over the weekend and just realized that deliveries are on Friday/Saturday. During the summer I am not home from Friday @ 5PM on and through the weekend, so this schedule won't work. Kenzie R helped me on their chat service to cancel my subscription and that experience was painless and fast. I have been using Trifecta for about 3 weeks and I absolutely love it! The meals are cooked to perfection and are extremely convenient for somebody who hates to cook!
