Great meals and customer service. Loads of information to make the right meal choices for your desired needs.

I've been receiving Trifecta meals for a few weeks now and was really excited about the concept but per others comments the food lacks flavor and I too have had to throw out entire meals because I just can't do it. Also, I'm surprised that no one else recently has mentioned how few calories are in these meals. 250 calories is unacceptable for a $14 meal! These meals are not meals they are snacks. They do not give me sufficient energy to perform well during rigorous workouts. I expected more :/ read more

Someone higher up finally made this right, after I was told by several other customer service people that there was nothing that could be done for me. I added the two stars for someone at the company finally listening to me. read more

So I love my food. I have the vegan plan lunch/dinner I've tried a lot of meal prep companies. They're delivered rock frozen and when heated up are all mushy. Trifecta is different the veggies are crunchy the beans and rice are great. I'm usually hungry soon after which is good (a few hours) . My body is digesting it well. There's nothing that is slimy or mushy that's the biggest deal for me. I do workout so I'm into high protein. I'm eating for weight lost so one meal a day with breakfast, snacks and smoothies are working for me. I'm looking to drop 15 pounds but I need protein to lift weights. So yes 5 stars for trifecta. Honestly if your so picky to say the food is bad (lies) then why don't you just cook yourself. read more

Do you say you don't want a particular food? Trifecta gives it to you anyway... Let's just say that the Customer Service rep "Tucker with a T" should be replaced with the fourth letter of Trifecta, because he was clearly more interested in mansplaining why "Tucker" is right than following a correct business model and righting what the company did wrong. Here's the deal: The food arrives late and they get the order wrong, and refuse to do anything about it. Off to AMEX purchase protection for this disaster! I signed up on January 13th knowing it was a subscription, but that my food comes on Friday the 18th and I get changed for the next week. I was told a Friday the 18th delivery, but then on Friday I get a notification that it's really coming in on Saturday the 19th. I get charged for the next week before my food even arrives: How will I know I even like the food? And, of course, I didn't. "Tucker with a T" tells me, "We're a subscription service and we say it all over the website." Mansplained! Thank you, "Tucker with a T," but can I assess the quality of the food before I'm even charged? Nope! Be careful: When you register and select what you want excluded, it will NOT register, and you will get it delivered anyway. "Tucker with a T" told me that my website experience when doing just this was wrong by saying, verbatim, "I know how the website works." Mansplained! On January 13th, I specifically walk through the order excluding what I don't want. I get it anyway nearly half of my meals! "Tucker with a T" again, mansplains: "I see what happened. You went in after you signed up and put those preferences in, so there's no way to have those preferences in for your first shipment." Let me say this: If I am so passionate about avoiding food allergies so I'm not having gut-wrenching cramps and hives for days on end, why would I avoid checking those exclusion boxes when I'm making the order? Why is "Tucker with a T" telling me I'm doing it wrong? Even if I DID do it wrong, why isn't "Tucker with a T" trying to replace those meals that I clearly don't want? Customer Service Subscription FAIL! Mansplaining "Tucker with a T" was having none of this, and again, correcting me that I did not set preferences when I ordered. No solutions offered by "Tucker with a T" like, "Hey, let me credit you for the next week." or "Whoops, my bad: Let's make sure you don't get any more." Nope! "Tucker with a T" wanted to be right, and tell me exactly why I was wrong! And I immediately canceled service. Now off to AMEX to dispute this week's delivery for the meals that go right into the garbage. read more

We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel so a friend suggested we try Trifecta. Fully cooked meals with a keto option delivered to your house? YES please!! Just placed my first order--will update once the food arrives! Had so many questions though and they have great live chat customer service. Chatted with Kenzie R and she was really helpful. Very excited to have a way to eat keto meals without a kitchen and avoiding all the fees from the delivery apps. read more

For over six months, Trifecta has been delivering delicious, healthy, and balanced meals to me. I have also referred friends that are now customers too. Every time I contact them for any issues they resolve then right away to my satisfaction. Most recently, Emily was super quick to respond to my email and take care of my request that I have nothing but great things to say about this team. Thank you for helping me achieve my goals and stay on track. read more

Travis was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. I'm excited to try the food.

Awesome! Just as advertised. This is actually my second try at meal prep delivery. 5 stars, just keep in mind that all these companies tend to be 2 days late on their first week's delivery. I think it's becaused it's hard to gage the company's growth from week to week as this is a relatively new concept. (No big deal, this company has excellent customer service and kept me up to date while resolving the issue, offered a discount for the trouble, and was on time with deliveries going forward, the last company took 3 days to address the same issue and double charged me. An adequate test of excellent customer service is how a team complies when things go wrong. They are very diligent. This is why I still give them 5 stars despite a late first delivery) Aside from that, the food is delicious. And you get to choose from a variety of dietary preferences: Clean, Keto, Paleo, Vegan, and Vegetarian. I choose the Vegan. The chocolate coconut muffins and pesto quinoa are the best! I was never bored with the selection for they kept me guessing from week to week. Nor did I ever feel lightheaded or malnutrished. The food is prepared in a way where their food is low in calories but high in nutrition. So you tone up while maintaining high energy levels. The portions are also suprisingly larger than expected. This is because they intelligently, lowered the fat intake to pull off the caloric reduction. The best part is that the fact that these meal preps have added an extra 9 hours of free time to my week. A VERY noticeable increase in both time and money has been added to my month. If you calculate the bigger picture, this service is drastically under priced when compared to the overall lifestyle upgrades it brings. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

I have tried practically every meal delivery service and out there and I feel like I have finally found my favorite! I have several dietary restrictions including gluten and dairy free and have found that with other services it is hard to find both options in one meal or they just want to load you up on a bunch of carbs like rice and potatoes but I like that Trifecta really gives you healthy options. And they have "plans" to choose from based on the most popular options like keto, paleo, etc. I am able to mix and match my options and get what I want, which is a healthy protein and lots of veggies. The serving sizes are perfect, not too big and not too small. I also love their customer service, got to speak with Tucker today and he was so patient as I needed some help navigating their online system. Highly recommend you give them a try if you are struggling to get meals with high quality ingredients that don't load you up with fillers but give you real food. read more

This is my second review of Trifecta which I have been a customer of for several years. I just wanted to thank their customer service rep, Breanne Dyke, for being so efficient with my request to add a third entree to my 7-day plan. She was prompt, polite, and professional; no wonder I love this company so much !! I love their food and their service so much that I will be getting 21 meals per week! :) read more

I signed up for their Keto Plan. I like the packaging, the box it comes in, nicely packed, all the meals are vacuumed packed. The taste? I guess its all about the Micros, not so much about taste. Just a mushy mess. The meats in the keto plan are tender, not dry, but the rest of the meal is just mushy. at 510 cals, 39 g of fat their really isn't much of a meal, or feel like your satisfied through taste. I tried to change my subscription to paleo a week (7 days) before it was delivered and still got Keto, a week later. I was charged the day before it arrived, charged on Friday, meals came on Saturday. Just try and cancel, you can't through the website, your directed to call them, so they can convince you not to cancel......its very time consuming and on purpose to call them.....Not easy, its like they make it difficult so you'll give up, get impatient and do the long task for later! My suggestion? Don't sign up, you won['t be able to cancel the auto subscription. read more

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM! I had a promo code to use back in March. I made sure that I added the code. However, my charges showed up as full price. I have tried to send emails to them repeatedly, but nobody has responded! Have you ever tried calling the number? You're just directed to a voice mailbox... What about canceling your services??! I have been repeatedly requesting that they close my account! Have i heard back? Hell no! Again, since MARCH and it's JUNE! What do i have to do then? Just keep "SKIPPING" future orders! I am a f/t student, I have moved over 2k miles away. This is absolutely absurd! read more

I had some issues with my account so I emailed trifecta and quickly got a response from Emily Barnes. She answered and quickly fixes my problems. She was polite and very informative with the issues. With the 3 emails i sent, she answered me back within minutes. That's something you don't get with customer service these days. Thank you so much Emily!! You are amazing!! read more

Let me start by saying that I'm the one in the family that will eat just about anything. I'm a foodie, but also a very forgiving foodie. I try to eat vegan, and tofu requires a flexible palate. So when I say that I struggled to eat this food because it was THAT bad....it really says something. And I was really excited to get this service and start a new, healthier eating plan where I don't have to worry about cooking. The concept of the company is fantastic. And there are so many options - a lot more meal plans than most other prepared meal companies than I found in my search. But the taste of the food just doesn't measure up...especially for the price. If I have to suffer through every other meal I get, what's the point? I'm not sure who is in charge of seasoning for the vegan diet, but if the Trifecta team is reading this review, please pass this message on to them. Vegans don't get their fuel off of black pepper alone. Some vegans don't even like it. So you may want to switch that out for something else occasionally. And when you do use it, try not to use the whole container on one dish. read more

Worth a try but keep a kitchen scale handy if you're trying to keep track of macros! I did their Keto Plan, without breakfast. Purely on taste alone I would give 5 stars. It looks ugly in the package because of the shrink wrapping but I like that the food lasts 10+ days so I appreciate the shrink wrap! Customer service was hard to reach but pretty helpful once you got them, so it may have taken a couple of calls or emails but eventually matters were resolved to my satisfaction. My main issue and the reason I chose not to continue for now is that some of the portions were completely skimped and therefore macros couldn't be accurate. I'm talking a meal with 2.5oz fish (or 3oz of meat) and 5oz of veggies stating 33g+ of protien. First of all no and second of all I'm still hungry!! So yeah, if they fix that and figured out how to make their nutrition labels match what they're sending I'd totally re-subscribe. Oh, the only one thing I didn't like was the a la carte chicken... pretty dry and lacked flavor... but adding some avo and bacon made it edible. read more

It's amazing when a company actually honors and takes care of there customers. I recently had a delivery so up late (fed-ex fault not trifecta) and unfortunately the meat I ordered was hot and ice melted. I just emailed them and in less than 24 hours got a shipment coming in for Friday :-) I love the convenience trifecta gives me with having quality meats in the fridge :-) read more

Fantastic meal delivery service and Evalyn was super helpful. I've tried multiple meal prep services and Trifecta is by far the best tasting, macro-balanced, and calorically consistent meals that I've found. I really appreciate the variety and quality they offer. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal delivery service. read more

5 stars for customer service! I was having trouble figuring out how to change my subscription in the app, and Eli P helped me get set up with the new plan I wanted plus canceled an order that I didn't want, after the cancellation deadline and at like 2pm on a Sunday - it was way beyond what I was expecting in terms of flexibility and responsiveness! Their Facebook group is also great for motivation and community. To be clear, this is a meal prep service for people who are looking to diet or meet specific fitness goals, so it's not going to be the most mind-blowing flavors you have ever experienced. But all the proteins are well-cooked (the salmon especially is always perfect) there's good variety, you'll meet your macros, and with some citrus, sat, and spices/herbs from your own cabinet, you can guarantee a reasonably tasty meal that serves your goals. read more

Don't order from here. Good concept that they offer a keto plan as many meal delivery companies are only calorie conscious but the food is not edible. The meats are all nasty and I'll eat just about anything. I thought it would be great and ordered a VERY large quantity and now I will have to throw them all out. My order came with no breakfast meals and I was not alerted. I had to call the company and they said they must have had a bad batch and they could send it the following week. Sent 7 of the same "turkey sausage and scrambled eggs"-eggs taste awful and the sausage is incredibly difficult to chew. Order from Freshly or Factor75, really anywhere else. read more

Have enjoyed the food & the simplicity it's adding to my life but was a little disappointed that I was starting to get repeats. Emailed them about getting more variety & they (Breanne Dyke) promised to look into it and even refunded me a portion of my last order (without me even asking about that) - which was incredibly generous of them. read more

I had a bad experience with my first couple of deliveries (they arrive on Saturday instead of Friday) Food quality, taste and convenience are incredible The brownies are spectacular read more

I'm on the vegan meal plan. Most of the meals are good, but they can be hit and miss and a little overpriced for the macros you receive. (AKA, not much food for a lot of money). As a result, I upgraded to a different plan that tends to be higher in calorie as I want the higher calorie meals. The BEST parts about Trifecta, besides the wild convenience of the meals, is the customer service. I have their number saved in my contacts and if you ever want to make any changes, you just call. They're really great to work with. In summary: it's convenient, usually tastes good, and customer service rocks! read more

I've been ordering the meat from here for a few months now. I haven't bought the meals because I like being able to cook my own vegetables. I tried all the meats, my favorite is the salmon and chicken. I love that they're seasoned already so I can eat it out of the package, but I can also prepare it in other ways and the seasoning doesn't overpower the way I've prepared it (I've tried chicken Katsu, cod katsu, chicken curry, bison Indian curry, steak Indian curry, chicken Japanese curry). Bison burgers are great too I'm not an athlete, just looking to be a healthier human read more

I can not say enough good about the customer service of the Trifecta staff. I accidentally started my membership before a delivery date when I was going to be out of town. I emailed on a Saturday night by Sunday morning my delivery date was adjusted! Thank you to Alex for the quick response and exemplary customer service! read more

Does what it's supposed to. Meals coke frozen in a temp controlled box and they taste good.

Such great company - they are available and flexible with delivery selections and schedules. Paulina is helpful and responds quickly with a solution. We are still trying to find the right delivery cycle for us but we appreciate the added time using Trifectas organic meals provides us. read more

I haven't tried to the food yet. So I can't speak to that. But the customer service is amazing. I spoke to Will Helm and he was able to help me out with my issue no problem. I was curious about budgeting and he was able to work with me toward a solution that would work for both my wallet and my eagerness for convenience and protein goals! I'm thrilled with this level of service especially after my interaction with a macros service (which shouldn't be called mighty). I can't wait for my box which should arrive within the next couple of days. Ii know, I have any questions or concerns or even praise to throw at Trifecta, I can reach out to the personalized support of Will and Emily (my nutrition help, which comes with the subscription!). And that is enough to write home about...or maybe just a glowing review. read more

Trifecta's food is really delicious. There is a lot of variety. . Customer Service is exceptional . I and a big mistake in my order and Dave Dutra and Tia Jackson went above and beyond to make it right even though the mistake was completely on my end . Much appreciated! read more

Update- After complaining about getting sick from one of the meals, I received a refund of about half the order (their policy says satisfaction guaranteed up to 7 meals only), and I filed a food safety report. While I appreciate the discount, the fact remains that the food is terrible. We've tried many other services including Factor, Mighty Meals (our favorite), Sakara Life, Thistle, and Territory, and Trifecta was by far our least favorite. My husband is a meat eater, and I am a vegetarian. You cannot mix the two meal plans and you have to buy two separate ones, unlike other services. The food was gray and tasteless, the tofu was spongy, you cannot select the meals you would like (my husband received mostly shrimp dishes, which was weird), and we threw most of them out. read more

A representative by the name of Emily B was incredibly helpful in making sure my order was fulfilled and with my discount. Too notch service and food. read more

I love the Trifecta meals and the service is outstanding. I had a small issue with one of the meals which was not a big deal at all but I wanted to make Trifecta aware since I know they value a high quality product. Their entire operation is the best. read more

Spoke to Alex Preciado to discuss some details about my delivery and the macros I should be calculating and he couldn't have been more helpful. I love the shredded chicken and the sweet potato, they are my go to for my daily macro targets. Trifecta saves me time and helps me stay on course. If you need to get your nutrition dialed in to a high degree of accuracy, I couldn't recommend it more. read more

God tasting food, better customer service. Happy with the quality of food and delivery read more

They ingredients are really high quality. All the meats are top quality and the fish is wild caught. You can tell a lot of thought was put into these meals instead of just being thrown together. This really is for people who want a healthy and more convenient way to get their food. Trifecta really caters to diet plans suggested by doctors. It's hard to figure out what to eat in order to stick to those prescribed diet plans and thats where this meal plan really shines. If you want a meal but don't care about health or nutritional value this isn't for you. If you're looking to eat clean, maximize nutrition and just feel better, Trifecta is the best option. read more

Good food service. I tried the custom meal plan and highly recommend the cod as protein. This is a good meal service for people with little time to prep good food. I've tried other meal prep services but Trifecta is the best by far. Because they vacuum seal their food, the texture and flavors are maintained and retain a fresh quality (which I was quite pleasantly surprised). I did have an issue with my deliveries however, but it is due to the unique complexity of where I live. Due to this the delivery service failed to deliver my food on multiple occasions. I doubt this would be an issue for normal addresses. I will say though that their customer service is exemplary. They have solved all of my issues to satisfactory, including my undelivered packages. Krista was very nice and helped me with all of my concerns/issues and in a very timely manner. Would totally recommend to others just based on the good customer service alone. read more

Food is mostly good. I have my favorites and then some that are okay. Service has been great, especially during the occasional missed delivery.
