They took my TV and stopped answering the phone. Never returned it. I'd never use them again!

Do not take your equipment here. Michael is a crook. It's been a year since I originally dropped off 2 audio devices They were old so I asked him if they were worth repairing and if it was possible to do. He said he thought yes, and I gave him a $40 diagnostic fee. After several months of 'waiting for parts' I picked them up and paid for repairs for both. When I tried to install and use them, neither worked (same problems as when I delivered the items). I (foolishly) returned the equipment so he could actually fix them. He subsequently indicated that they are both fixed, but made it impossible for me to pick them up. He's rarely at the store (despite the hours on the door) and has had repeated excuses for breaking our appointments. Sometimes he didn't break the appointments but was simply a no show. Fast forward, he has ceased answering or responding to my calls. So he now has my equipment and my money. I contacted the NJ Office of the Attorney General's Dept of Consumer Affairs. They responded by recommending I take him to court (and hire a lawyer!), and closed my case. I wish I had read the reviews before taking my equipment to him. Instead I trusted Michael because he had previously repaired my big screen tv and that experience was excellent; the repair was done quickly and well. I need to take some next steps but in the meantime, I feel a need to warn future customers to stay away. read more

The only word that comes to mind is a crook. My story is similar to the stories of the other reviewers. After he failed to fix my item for the very first time, he took it again to do a rework. This time he kept my device for few months claiming that he was waiting for parts. After few months he returned the item which turned out to be still broken. The items didn't have any traces of any work done either the first or the second time so I suspect that he didn't even touch. Of course he didn't even want to talk about the refund and stopped responding to any texts or phone calls. Stay away. read more

Do not work with this company. 'Mike' took my Vizio TV with him for repairs (after a $65 call out fee) on October 3. We've spoken twice since then, both times he said parts were on the way from Vizio. It's now November 19 and my daily calls to his number have gone un-unanswered. Today his phone is disconnected. His website is also down which makes me think I'll not be getting the TV back in a hurry. read more

My Samsung LCD TV stopped working this morning I contacted customer service and they recommended triangle TV service. So I contacted them spoke to the tech/owner Michael and found him knowledgeable and knew exactly what the problem was. He recommended that since I live close by I drop the tv off to save the $65 charge to have them pick it up. After bringing the set in and paying $20 for diagnostics which I thought was a lot cheaper than any of the other repair places I contacted. I left the tv and went home expecting not to hear from them for a day or so. To my surprise by the time I drove home @20 min he called me to tell what was wrong, he had the part and need my ok to fix it!! The price was good also. I agree and within 30 min it was done. It took more time driving back and Forth than it did for the repair. I highly recommend them as they do fast and cheap repairs. read more

Do not go here!! The guy Mike is a crook. So my grandma a TV that the HDMI cable still not work in. Gave the runaround when asked to fix and never did. Businesses are cash only for a reason. See you guys in court!! read more

Terrible service. With good intentions, I wanted to patronize a local business, so I brought in my television for servicing -- multiple vertical color bands we're appearing on the screen when turned on. The owner, Michael said he knew what it was, will do a preliminary diagnostic, order parts, and repair the unit. It took about two weeks. When I brought the TV home, it was worse. I brought the TV back, and Michael said he'd take care of it. I called back every few days, and got a run-around with a different excuse, each time. Sometimes, I'd stop by in person, and the shop was closed (even though the sign on the door indicated business hours as 9am - 5pm). And, by phone, I kept getting a stall and BS story from Michael. It took a little over three weeks to get him to do something, the second time around. Brought the unit home; works for now. Stay away from this business. Unreliable. read more

I dropped off my TV for repair in December and never heard back. I called and stopped in the shop periodically, and after giving me the runaround for 3+ months, I finally got my TV back this past Saturday. I went to go plug it in just now to find that the problem has not at all been fixed. I'll be visiting the store tomorrow to see if a) he can actually do the job I just shelled out $160 and waited 3 months for b) if I can maybe get my money back or c) go ahead and report this abomination of a business to the BBB. I think I might have to anyways. Stay away from this place at all costs. Not at all worth the aggravation. read more

Horrid service. Came out initially, diagnosed the color wheel as gone bad, replaced it, I go on vacation, come back to sit down to watch TV and the same issue is back but worse, I call Michael, he makes an appt, doesn't keep it or call, I call again, he tells me he was sick, we reschedule, he doesn't show, we reschedule for a Saturday, he then turns around sick again, we reschedule for this Saturday, typical he doesn't call, text, smoke signal, nothing, just doesn't show and doesn't respond. I'm out $400 with an unwatchable TV. I will be leaving this same review on FB and contacting the BBB and filing a formal complaint. read more

It is now Tuesday morning (appointment was on Saturday) and they just called me to reschedule my appointment. He explained that the reason they did not come to fix my TV was that the Samsung systems were down. Thats great: why didn't you call me on Saturday? I left three voicemails with my cell phone number. read more

We had a completely different experience than the other reviewers. Called them to ask if they would look at our Commercial grade Samsung 46" TV with an overheating error message. Said they would be there in 30 minutes. coming from Montclair NJ to Denville. Showed up. Said exactly what the TV would need. Took the TV back to the shop. Called the next days stating that 2 of the 3 cooling fans had stopped due to dust accumulation. I instructed to replace the 3 fans. Parts in stock. TV returned that afternoon all for $200. Our other option was buy a new TV for $1200.00. We will call them again in the future read more

Our TV stopped working last night. I called Triangle TV this morning. There were out to my home by noon and the tv was fixed by 1:30. The technician had the necessary parts with him. Great job!!! read more

Mike came to my house to check my TV. He told me he could fix my TV but would have to come back to pick it up the next day. He didn't have his truck so the TV wouldn't fit in car. First of all he didn't tell me I needed cash for the estimate. I gave him a check and he charged me taxes on top of the $65.00. The next day I called Mike to see what time he would be by to pick up TV. He told me he had a emergency maybe the next day. The next day came he told me he couldn't pick TV up again. By the third call he didn't answer his phone and never returned my calls. I found another TV Repair guy who charged only $50.00 and took my TV to the shop the same night. Mike is a rip off I wouldn't trust him. He is very dishonest and doesn't follow through. I called the bank to see when he cashed the check it was the same day. I wouldn't recommend him. read more

I've taken a DVD Player and a Samsung LCD TV to Mike to fix and he was terrific. Work was done promptly and correctly and the price was right. Mike explained the problem, what he did to fix them, and how I could avoid problems in the future. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Awful! Awful! Awful! I got their number through LG when our TV broke. They guy (who I could hardly understand because he didn't speak English very well), came out and looked at our TV. He was not very friendly at all. He said he needed to get approval from LG to obtain a new panel. 3 weeks and many phone calls later, he has stopped responding to me at all. He referred me to call "the office" at his store, and gave me a number that rings and rings but no one answers and there's no voicemail to leave a message. I contacted LG and they said he never requested a part from them for my TV! Unreal. We've been waiting on this guy, and he's been doing nothing but putting me off. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. They had my VCR for repair for nine weeks and never did anything except take my $20 "diagnostic fee". I finally took it back, unrepaired. During those nine weeks, they never returned a single phone call. When I did manage to reach someone, they would always tell me it would be ready in a few days, but it never was. Dishonesty can take many forms. Sometimes it is outright and planned. Other times it is the result of not taking responsibility for your actions. We brought in an electronic device. They kept telling us it needed this part or that part. When we went to pick it up..on multiple occasions, the young lady at the front said the owner was not in and could not give us back our equipment. We called and said we would pick it up on a specific date and when we got there the place was closed. We finally got it back after 6 months, minus the power cord and in addition, the face plate was not secured and things inside rattle. We never got back our deposit, because the young lady said the owner did not give permission. Our device is completely useless now and having someone else fix it will cost a fortune. If it was beyond the owner's ability, it was his responsibility to say so. read more

iI used triangle for a stereo repair . He had my equipment for 5 + months. I kept calling him at times no answer. Then i had others call and he answered I blocked my number and he answered. Obviously he was not answering when I called and saw my number He charged me to perform repairs. When i picked up my stereo it still static ed and the needle on the turn table fell off, when i tried to play a record. I think he used the same broken parts . i filed a claim with BBB they were no help, now I filed with NJ consumer complaints. mike told me he would come to repair the needle never showed up and did not respond to BBB. Called this guy after our Samsung Plasma tv kept shutting off. Over the phone he talked a good story and assured me it was worth fixing. After a month of waiting for a part to come in , he told me it was fixed. After another 2 weeks of giving me the run around about when he was gonna deliver it to my house. I finally stopped in the store. He kept turning the tv on and then shutting it off. Told me he would deliver it the following Monday , after another few calls and BS stories, I finally went and bought a new tv. As far as I could figure there are 2 possibilities with this guy, either he hasn't really fixed it and he wants me to pay him, bring it home myself , to possibly have it not fixed, or he did fix it and he wants to keep it and sell it , it is now 3 months later , still no word , my advice is to stay away !! read more

Woke up this morning and my television would not come on! I immediately started looking through TV ads to possibly purchase a new TV. Then I remembered that my brother told me about this place. So I gave them a call and Mike came to my apartment within 90 minutes to diagnose the problem. (The power supply was broken). Since they are an authorized Zenith service center, he said he would check to see if he would have the replacement part. He did! Less than 4 hours later my television was working like new.
