Huge store ran by the nicest lady (Christine -- owner). Friendly, courteous, helpful, sweet, and appreciated our business....something that is rare from our coastal owners sadly. If you are looking for it, they probably have it. Huge shop that seems to go on and on. Very clean, very well organized, with items for every taste and budget. Scrap-booking, crafts, toys, gifts, notions, party favours, gift wrapping needs, art work, pet toys, jewelry, etc... Decent to great prices on most everything. Items ranged from dollar store level to higher quality. All items were priced well within range. I was having a blast finding toys and games that were similar to what I had as a lad back in ancient times. We also got some great incense (so many scents to choose from!!) and a cool masquerade mask for photo-shoots (our side hobby--- artistic photography). Clatskanie doesn't offer a lot as far as shopping goes, but Discounts and Deals fills the gap well. Do yourself a favour and pop in and say hello. I was able to get a J Crew cardigan in great condition for just a dollar. The staff doesn't really interact with you much, but I don't see how they really can at a thrift store.

This is one of my go-to thrift stores in town. 2 long racks of clothes for $1, a round rack of kids…read morestuff for a buck (although not in great condition, from what I've seen for the kids stuff in the dollar rack) and a few other racks for adults and kids of stuff mostly $3-5, a bunch new with tags. Home decor items for $1-2, a large wall of shoes that I recently scored a brand new pair of boots from for $10. While their furniture can seem overpriced for a thrift store, it's mostly new items and cheaper than you will get retail even on sale. They also have a neat little craft section, Knicknacks throughout, and fitting rooms. Worth the visit every time I go. The woman who runs the store is a sweetheart and the staff, while hands off (which I personally prefer) can be helpful and have always been kind. The proceeds here benefit charity which is a bonus, too. Great place to shop and donate.

The gift shop, as expected, is well stocked with items concerning Mount St. Helens and the events of 1980. Lots of memorabilia scientific and colloquiel. More unexpectedly, the Mount St. Helens Gift Shop also seems devoted to all things Big Foot. They stock a larger selection of t-shirts, hoodies etc displaying Sasquatch than I've ever seen before. There is also a large (8'!)stuffed doll who is available for photos....unlike his corporeal cousins! There is also a smatering of other local items. We bought a jug of marionberry jam that comes with a top to make it a salt or pepper shaker when you finish off the jam.
