Nonetheless, our contact person Madeleine and her crew came out to assess our foundation and cracks and some mold from the humidity in the crawlspace. In the end we went with mold remediation, a sump pump, new vapor barrier, joist lifts, and air sealing to keep out the creepy crawlies. Big ticket expense, but when compared to the competition, we went with them because of the thoroughness with the estimate interview and the willingness to answer all of our questions, they were also well-spoken of on other review sites including a popular large community message board, and the price was pretty comparable. Also, the crew was very good. My only ding would be was not putting the items in the crawlspace back in the order that it was originally, which saved space. But to add to their credit, we have one additional project that needs to be done outside of Little Corner's scope and the new company took a look at Little Corner's work and said "They did a very good job, this is how we would have done it." I think that speaks well of them as a whole. They may not be the biggest company, but they are professional, kind, and diligent about their work. Thank you, Madeleine and crew.

No other handyman bothered to respond except Bernie as the repair had to be done from under the house via the crawlspace. Bernie came and gave a detailed estimate and also went under the house into the crawlspace and took pictures and measurements. We scheduled the job and Bernie came exactly on time and made the repair with no complaining about the fact that working in a crawlspace is pretty hard to do and makes the job much more difficult. As a result of this we will now begin to schedule more work with Bernie for flooring as well as painting. His honesty and willingness to do our small job will always be remembered by us as no one else seemed to care about doing it or even returning our calls. WestPoint delivered an interior beyond our wildest imagination with a stunning stone feature wall complete with a massive built-in fireplace, a custom designed faux brick wall, and a 12' hand-cut bamboo room divider, just to name a few! We are exceptionally pleased with our space as well as our frequent guests and clients who enter through the custom double doors. On a daily basis, our Clients share with our staff that they have a hard time deciding if they love the interior or the services that we provide more! A wonderful experience all-around and we certainly plan to utilize WestPoint Designs for any interior and design work in the future.

Now in 2025 after having a structural engineer come in with a reputable general contractor we will have a full report and estimate of repair to reconstruct the deck to make it up to code for the new buyer. A huge open wound has been exposed and Mike Germain has nothing to say for himself. The second photo is directly from the contract we signed and completed with him. We certainly paid and upheld our part of the contract. On a side note, at the time of the construction in 2020 I had completed an egg collection for an IVF cycle a few days before the crew arrived. We also had a close relative with dementia in a memory care unit that was going to be moving into hospice and the work that was being completed by Mike was so she could return home. There were a lot of concerns brought to Mike's attention and he basically deflected, denied, gaslit and pressed forward, and now here we are in 2025. Mike Germain finally responded after multiple requests to address the lack of permits and final inspection on our project as well as the problems coming to light. We requested his contractor's license number and he refused to provide it. This brings into question if he even has one. When he responded he created a very false narrative and explained that we were trying to rush the project to start and accused my wife of asking him to forgo permits. We were not even aware until last week that this situation was a far larger problem than we ever planned or paid for. This is extremely suspect! BEWARE!!!

Be careful dealing with Triangle Reconstruction. Rob, the owner comes off as humble, honest and…read moresincere, but if something goes wrong watch out ! I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring 'his engineer' out to look at it. I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob's estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn't understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we're still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won't be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company's negligence.
