Jonathan and his team have been our go-to contractors for all sorts of home improvement projects…read moresince 2016. They did a major renovation for us in late 2016 (including new kitchen, taking walls down in an upstairs bedroom to make it an open space, installing installing railings, painting and more), and have followed up with several additional projects over the years - a new deck and patio with fire pit (2018), master bathroom renovation (2019) and installation of interior doors to add separation for an additional office space (2020). All of the work looks just as good today as when it was newly completed. Jonathan closely supervises everything that's done to ensures that it is a consistently high quality at a very reasonable price point. If we need to do additional work on the house, I won't even bother looking elsewhere - Jonathan is reliable, does great work, is flexible to accommodate changes and requests along the way, and is really just a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him for any home renovation project!

However, we found Tim's crew is courteous, respectful, and clean. which made the process much easier on us. Also the work is impeccable. Tim is very knowledgeable about building codes and carpentry which helped guide us through the process, and he works with Kitchen's By Amy for cabinets and hardware. The process was smooth and easy. We are very happy with our new bathroom and kitchen, and we will not call anyone else for remodeling projects for our home.

Appreciated Tim and teams' ability to adapt and pivot keeping the project moving smoothly (think city inspectors not showing on schedule) and our own wishes / tweaks as the project moved along). He also raised our chimney 6 feet so it would meet current code. We also had him re-grouted our pool flagstone as the salt water had damaged it. He is truly a craftsman and has great knowledge of stone and tile work. We also had him return to regrout our master bath shower and recaulk around all our fixtures through out the house as our house is now 11 years old and everything needed to be resealed. His price is very good and the quality of the work is the best!!!!

His employees are so nice and very trustworthy. I love my new Kitchen, bathrooms and floors. I highly recommend him for a remodeling job. Thank you again Sam for working with us.

1 word, HORRENDOUS!!!!!…read more Sam Macdougall is not an experienced builder even though he portrays himself as one. His work was so below par it was stupefying. I could turn the 2x4's of the framing 360 degrees with my bare hands, tresses did not match each other, the garage opening was only 7.25' wide, and the list goes on. We finally had to sue him for our $50,000 because we could not find another construction company willing to take over the job; each said the previous work would have to be demolished and a whole new structure built. We sued him and his father-in-law paid his debt. Come to find out this was the SECOND 'mistake' his father-in-law had resolved. I just wish there was some way of putting this type of builder out of business for good! DO NOT USE SANDERSON CONSTRUCTION!
