Be careful dealing with Triangle Reconstruction. Rob, the owner comes off as humble, honest and sincere, but if something goes wrong watch out ! I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring 'his engineer' out to look at it. I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob's estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn't understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we're still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won't be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company's negligence. read more

They vacuumed, cleaned and disinfected both areas, lay a vapor barrier in our crawlspace, and also replaced some old insulation. Both areas look amazing! These guys are PHENOMENAL. Excellent reviews elsewhere led us to hire them to make some repairs based on a report from a structural engineer, and we haven't been disappointed. They've been super friendly and very responsive to our questions. I was diagnosed with Lymes disease so being exposed to mold is a very serious problem for me. I was tested and high levels of mold were found in my system after getting very ill and so the doctor insisted we have the house tested. An inspector was first hired to come by the house. They were very not detailed and inexperienced in my opinion. They found nothing. Knowing I was getting worse I decided to hire Triangle Reconstruction for an inspection. Nate came by and in one day found that our attic over our bedroom, 2100 square feet of our crawl space were covered in mold and water leaks. He also found our bathroom was also covered in mold and the subfloor was collapsing. If it wasnt for Nate, I have no idea what would have happened to me and my family. He was so warm and caring and really took the time to make sure all ground was covered. I am so grateful for the detailed report and inspection that was done. These guys are TERRIBLE as far as PUNCTUATION goes. - The appointment for estimate at 9:30 but he never call or show up, we have to call and remind him. he finally show up 2 hrs late. - The day for the repair was set at 9:30, We waited and waited .... Called them at 10:30, he said the worker should be there in 15". We waited and waited.... and called him again at 11:30. He said " let me find out and I will call you back in 15" We waited and wated...... He finally called back at 1 pm and said the worker will be there in another hr. We wasted the whole day. read more

Triangle Reconstruction was very responsive, professional, and did a great job. Rob showed up on time to do the estimate, provided a clear explanation of the problem (had mold and moisture in the crawlspace), answered all of my questions honestly, and agreed to work with my requests rather than forcing me to do things I didn't want to do as opposed to other companies (eg. agreed to clean mold and apply vapor barrier to see if a dehumidifier was really needed). The estimate was much more affordable than other estimates, and they did great work. Our doorbell broke coincidentally while they were working in the crawlspace, and Rob even sent out an electrician to make sure it wasn't anything the crew did to cause the problem. Triangle Reconstruction has done several projects for me and have been great to work with. They did work both inside my home and outside on the side of my house that was always muddy because the original French drain was done in 1986 and wasn't effective in draining the rain water and it was very difficult pushing my trash and recycling carts out to the street. My shoes always had to be cleaned off after that. They put in a new one French drain which helped a bit but needed a bit more work, so they came back out and extended the drain which now has improved the drainage. I would give this company a NEGATIVE 100, Triangle Reconstruction's Rob and Brian are unreliable, unprofessional and thieves. I contracted Rob and his crew to help me remodel an entire house i was flipping, half of the time I was calling Rob because neither him nor his workers didn't show, the other half was to let him and Bryan know what they didn't complete or did wrong or was damaged. Most of the work was sloppy or incomplete. They damaged things or threw them others away that were not supposed to be and never replaced by Triangle reconstruction (I had to replace these items because of their lack of communication between each other therefore costing me twice the amount). They refused to replace items broken claiming their crew did NOT damage them. In the end I ended up finishing the repairs, paying extra and losing money all because I trusted Rob and Brian from Triangle Reconstruction. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company for any project and urge others to be aware of paying them ahead of time for they do not abide by their own contract but are quick to take you to court if you don't pay for work they did not do. I could have taken them to court and spent more money on attorney and court fees and spent months in court but I chose to settle with Rob to avoid the court and attorney fees it would cost me of it being held in court because I had already lost enough money on a flip he was supposed to renovate for me within two months (that took almost a year). Believe me when I say that if this had been done to my property and I had not been in dire need of selling the flip property I would have taken Rob and Brian to court. I have enough txt, emails, pic and proof to back my claims but I didn't want to be held up in court with an empty property that would end up loosing me more money the longer it was empty, so in the end Rob won this round. Rob assured me the repairs would be done within 8-12 wks but it took them almost a year to complete the work (which they still didn't complete) but according to Rob they did. I urge all of you considering Triangle Reconstruction to find another company and I will pray for those of you that have already committed to this poor excuse of a company. This company is one of the best I have worked with. I had a vapor barrier installed, insulation re-hung and an opening to my crawlspace sealed off. I thought I needed new insulation in my crawl space because some of it was falling down. These guys told me they could re-hang it, which is much cheaper than having new insulation.
