Rodas Construction replaced by roof two years ago and did an exceptional job. Enrique personally examined every square inch of my roof, took pictures, and discussed the various roof options available. He also pointed out some places where I had some wood that needed to be replaced around dormers, etc. In addition, the flashing around one of my chimneys needed attention. Enrique and his crew did it all; replaced the shingles, replaced the wood, repaired the flashing and it was awesome. Everything they did and the way they did it was impressive especially the clean up. Every single day the shingles and nails were thrown into a dumpster, not on the ground. After the job was finished they surveyed the ground with a magnet to capture any nails they may have fallen off the roof inadvertently. Here's the best part; one week ago I was told the ventilation in our sun room was inadequate and the shingle cap on my roof may be the problem. I called Enrique the same day and two days later he was on my roof inspecting the shingles and the cap. The good news was, the lack of ventilation had nothing to do with the shingles or the cap; however, Enrique plans to add a device that will increase air flow as a precautionary measure. After interviewing several roofing/siding companies to repair damage from a hail storm we decided on Rodas Construction. Cole Faulkner provided a detailed estimate to help us gain more understanding of the process. That detailed estimate was the reason we chose Rodas. No other company was willing to do this. Thanks to Cole Faulkner at Rodas Construction for helping us work with our insurance company to make repairs after a tree fell on our house, put a hole in our roof, and damaged our deck. We had originally planned to work with a different contractor, but that person couldn't do the immediate roof tarping needed when a tree put a small hole in our roof and a hurricane was coming in the next few days. I reached out to Rodas Construction, and Cole came out the same day to do the tarping and saved us from almost certainly getting more damage with the oncoming storm. After a few more weeks (with the tarping holding up beautifully), our original contractor fell through, and Cole with Rodas was ready to step in and work with our insurance company to get the work done. 9 years ago we had Rodas do our roof. He told us they only guarantee it for 5 years as GAF does a 50 year warranty. I contacted Rodas as it now leaking. They tell me: Jon, I received your inquiry on our website regarding the leak around your vent pipe. Unfortunately the pipes are not covered under any warranty. I got quotes from several companies to replace my roof, but ended up choosing Rodas based on price and customer service. Chris H worked tirelessly to answer my questions via email and text, day and night. He probably was the biggest reason I chose Rodas, since he provided such great information and truly helped every step of the way. There was an issue with my experience, but it was resolved, so I'm not complaining. The roof job took a day and a half and unfortunately, it rained the night before they finished. The roof wasn't protected well enough in the unfinished part, and so there was damage to the ceiling in my garage and bathroom. My experience with Rodas Construction was exceptional. John Mansueto reviewed a number of options related to roofing manufacturers, line of roofing tiles, construction options, and pricing. He completely answered all my questions. When I had selected my desired options and scheduled a time for installation, the team was on site in the morning, removed all existing materials completely, ensured that all debris, nails and other waste was contained in a waste trailer, completed installation including new skylights during the same day. This is the 2nd time I've used Rodas Construction with the same amazing results. I would highly recommend them for any roof project as well as siding now. From the beginning, I knew Todd Hellier was extremely knowledgeable when it came to giving me an estimate on a rather old roof with structural damage. Like others, he didn't give me a firm price. Rodas put new shingles on my 1200 square foot rental house in North Raleigh. The quote was a little above middle of the range but he built in some buffer to cover the probability of some bad plywood in two spots. The roofing team showed up on time. They protected my shrubs. Discarded the old shingles into a big dumpster. Replaced the plywood. Put on the new shingles. Cleaned up the mess by the end of the day.
