Excellent Roofing Job at a Great Price…read more I highly recommend Orange General Contracting. I got estimates from six different roofing contractors, and Orange General Contracting gave me the best price while still providing everything I wanted in a new roof. They replaced my entire roof in just one day, starting around 7:00 AM and working until about 7:30 PM. The crew worked hard all day and did an excellent job from start to finish. The new roof looks great, and I was especially impressed with the cleanup afterward. They cleaned the property, ran magnets for nails, and hauled away all the old roofing materials. Best price out of six contractors, excellent workmanship, fast installation, and great cleanup. I would definitely recommend Orange General Contracting to anyone needing a new roof.

Really shoddy work and just terrible. They also repitched the gutters to the extreme just dropping the ends to make quick work of it and so they look terrible. They then left out gutter wedges that I then had to call them about and convince them to come back out to put back in. They said via phone I wasn't missing any but I was standing under my gutters at the time and looking up at the gutters and could see them missing. The crew also left garbage from the project around my house. The scrap from cutting out the gutters for downspouts was just left on the ground, the park of the deck they cut out they just dropped on the ground. Really really poor quality work overall.

They correctly identified that my roof had been damaged by hail roughly 11 months ago, and the USAA adjuster readily agreed. Replacing the roof was accomplished in a manner I did not think possible in any line of business: they CONSISTENTLY did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and in a manner that exceeded what I expected. After seeing how they work, how they stay in touch, how they show up, and how they are committed to doing things well and fairly, I can 100% recommend them. In fact, I wish I could award more stars because they deserved them. I particularly want to thank Drane, Ryan, and Bertin for their exceptional commitment to excellence and teamwork. Well done!!!

It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. If you're looking for a reliable roofing and gutter company that you can trust to show up, communicate well, and do right by you, I'd absolutely recommend them. I'd work with them again without hesitation.

Not great. We had our roof and gutters replaced. The roof work seems solid (but what do we know?),…read morebut everything else leaves me frustrated after spending $25k. My main complaint, the sales person promised the crews would be clean and put tarps down to catch 100% of the debris, and we wouldn't even be able to tell they'd been here. Now we're four months past the install and we are still picking up bits of shingle, tar paper, plastic, and most egregiously, ROOFING NAILS in the yard nearly every SINGLE time we do yard work. In the first two weeks we picked up over a hundred nails from the yard and DRIVEWAY (come on, now!). We seriously found two more yesterday and two more today. It's NEVER ENDING. With the sales guy's suggestion we had them put in wide mouth gutter drains to help with the constant gutter clogging problems -- so what do they do? First they installed them wrong (oversized drains with standard drain holes does no good), so I printed out and handed the project manager installation instructions from the manufacturer. They came back out to redo it, but contrary to those instructions they used a ton of caulk, and also put caulk on every joint. Guess what gutter debris does when it hits a caulk. We also had them do some siding repair and had to be extremely specific about what we wanted them to do vs asking "replace anything that's rotting" which I would expect to be a reasonable request. I expected SO much more from a family company this old and established. Sadly, NOT recommended.

Mighty Dog seemed good at first, good sales and estimate. But then the workers came out and very hurriedly replaced the roof and oh boy did those workers do it quickly, took them less than a day and it seemed like they were doing a sloppy job. It was hard to communicate with the manager as he was not onsite, just workers and communication was difficult. Seemed like- they were worried about filling the quota to get as many houses done as possible, not about doing a good job at all. There were a ton of loose ends and errors that were wrong when the swarm of workers left. There were a lot of gaps and whole sides of the roof that were missing edging and gutter aprons. There were holes between the roof and trim that were visible. We had the manager come back out and he inspected and noted that there were areas that needed fixing and that they'd be back.... We called a few days later to remind them again and again, 'Not to worry' he assured us! 'We'll come back and fix those errors right away.' They never came back. We had already paid and they had no incentive to finish the job. Called a 3rd and 4th time to no avail. Headquarters didn't care as they already had our money. We had to pay a new and completely different contractor who came in and fixed most of their mistakes. This cost us an extra $1500 on top of the 13k we already paid Mighty Dog. This contractor was there with the workers and we went through all the stuff they had done wrong and took pictures as they fixed things. It was a lot. This was last August. It's now April, and already we have a massive rotted out plywood section under the roof and now I'm very worried other leaks will start happening as the roof was only installed 8 months ago.
