Cole Roofing & Construction provided excellent service, were responsive, and provided good value. We needed a new roof on our 3,000 sq ft story & half house. It has a tall steeply sloped roof (12-12) in the front with several dormer windows, a garage wing, and multiple skylights and vents in back. I received seven bids from various roofing companies. Cole was not the lowest, but was near the low bid. He provided a lifetime, architectural shingle, replaced several sheets of damaged underlying board, replaced flashing around the chimney, vents, skylights, and dormer windows, used an excellent sub-shingle barrier and hand nailed the new shingles in place. His crew was well trained, worked well as a team, protected our plants, and cleaned up the area after each day of work. They took 1-1/2 days to complete all work. Great experience the first time. Prompt call back, fast scheduling and professional level of work until I learned that what I'd asked him to fix on our roof wasn't actually fixed. We had two issues and he only handled one. Then became very sensitive when I became upset about it. Communication is important and Greg lacked it for me. He never gave us the photos we requested. If he had given us the photos then I would have noticed that only one item was done. It's a shame it took a rain storm for me to realize that he didn't do the most important work needed. I emailed him about it and he never responded. I guess he was in his feelings because I spoke my mind. Moved on to another roofer and am very excited they fixed the original issue. If you use this company then be sure to be home when the work is done and demand photos if you haven't seen the roof for yourself. read more

I had Cole Roofing replace my roof with architectural shingles 2 years ago. His quote was among the cheapest, and I cannot see any difference between my roof and others that spent several thousand more for the same thing. I have had no issues with the roof, and I have referred Mr. Cole to several friends. They were able to replace my entire roof in a single day. If I were to give critical feedback, it is that Mr. Cole often doesn't return telephone calls promptly. I have stopped referring folks because he often doesn't call them back (after at least 2 other folks that I referred to him for doing a roof, you think that would at least garner a call back). So he needs to focus a little more on customer service, or if someone is a referral, make sure those people are definitely called back. read more

Cole Roofing replaced our roof and underlayment and installed new gutters and gutter guards. Greg was prompt with the quote, we were kept up to date on the schedule by Paige, the crews arrived as promised and did fantastic work. Our roof was replaced by Cole Roofing and Construction 5 years ago. We got three estimates and Cole roofing was very reasonable and able to install shingles in a timeframe that met our schedule. The crew did a great job of removing old shingles, replacing a couple of damaged plywood roof boards, installing the new shingles, felt paper, pipe collars, ridge vents, removing old product from home site, cleaning up debris on a daily basis, and all with no damage to foundation plants. I got three estimates for a new roof. Cole's was about $4000 less expensive than the highest quote. Cole's representative (Greg Cole) was a no-nonsense, professional kind of gentleman who gave me a fair price and followed through with an efficient team of individuals who completed the roof and cleanup in a single day. Also, when they removed the shingles they found out the roof had been reshingled in the past over the original shingles, which meant double to work... but they never complained or tried to charge me more money. We were very happy with the price and with the work done by Cole. We had a new roof, gutters and gutter Helmets installed and some rotted wood replaced. It all looks great and with the recent rains I have seen that the Helmets work well. The crews were very nice and respectful and, especially the gutter crew, answered the few questions I had. They worked quickly and obviously knew their job well. Also cleaned up pretty thoroughly (I have found a few nails). My emails were always promptly responded to. Cole Roofing roofed our house, our garage and my potting shed -all in ONE day! All the workmen were pleasant and courteous and everything was cleaned up when they finished. In addition, I contacted Cole 2 years after they had done the work because I was worried we had a leak. We got several estimates. Cole came up reasonable and our neighbor recommended them a year after their roof was replaced. They used quality products, were timely, and cleaned up well. Very good job on my house and my shop. Finished both roofs in a single day. I think the price was fair and the quality excellent. We were just surprised with the scheduling.
