He walked us through the major points of puppy training, focusing on the parts that he knew we were struggling with. It was a completely customized experience. He included my 6 and 7 year old daughters in the training as well. He taught us not by just SHOWING us, but by having US do the exercises with our puppy, so WE felt comfortable. I have had quiet a few trainers in the past but never found one that I really loved until Antonio. I have 2 frenchies and love them with all my heart so finding the right trainer was so important to me. They are high maintenance dogs and Antonio really gave them all of the time and attention they needed. I reached out to him because a friend referred me, and I was initially hoping for them to learn the classics; sit, stay, and recall on walks. Not only did Antonio teach them these things with ease, he also helped me to crate train them as well. He also took them out on walks and socialized them with other dogs! This was above and beyond and my doggies came back happy every time they went out with him. He also provided me with at home tips and "homework" to do to continue working with my dogs to ensure that they received training from me, in addition to him. I believe this was really beneficial to my dogs and myself as it really helped with enforcing the training they learned with Antonio. Antonio started taking my dog back out after he had healed up, and was very empathetic to the concerns I had. He took the time to chat briefly when picking my dog up, and when dropping him off, reported back about his day. This is a huge pro because having just a transactional relationship is not what I'm looking for anymore. I need someone who will be open to share report-backs. Antonio is an experienced walker and makes sure dogs can coexist peacefully with each other. I was originally worried about the fact he had larger dogs in his group - but due to his experience he can ensure the dog's personalities match to peacefully coexist. Also, I really liked that he had a crate my dog could fit into in the car. I saw my dog immediately go into the crate and choose to relax in his own space on the way to the park. This made me feel good - I started to feel at ease and confident my dog was in good hands. Finally... my dog does not care that much about humans... humans will run and try to pet him, and he'll just walk away from them lol. But with Antonio, my dog squeals with excitement and wags his nub whenever Antonio was scheduled to pick him up. This to me shows Antonio has treated my dog really well. Also to note: i have a classic herding breed - these dogs while easily biddable (easy to train) are also dogs with a lot of energy. He is up to the task with high-energy dogs. Not many walkers will be interested in interaction with these dogs (I see lots of walkers on their phones, ignoring the dogs, and dogs on short leashes which is the opposite of what Antonio will offer)
