She needs insulin injections twice a day 12 hours apart. I was hesitant to even go on vacation because of this as I know me being away is very rough on her. I normally give her baths once a week because she is a Maine coon and it's hard for her to clean herself properly in her old age because of her larger size and arthritis . Suffice to say I went on vacation anyway. Upon meeting Bill at our meet and greet he showed up on time and took copious notes . Bill showed up to my house on time everyday twice a day for 11 days to give Baretta her injections and clean out both cat bowls, three water bowls and two litter boxes . Handling Baretta was no easy task and most people would not be able to deal with her. She is fine with just me or my partner but with others she acts like a wild beast- hissing, growling, swatting, and resisting as much as she possibly can. She is a strong, stubborn cat . Bill was committed and provided me updates via text and video or her in her beastly state . Bill even had to move a heavy bed and mattress out of the way just to be able to get to her because Baretta had figured out a way to get underneath the bed even though I had barricaded it prior. Bill has a lot of experience with cats and especially feral cats as he mentioned to me so he had an understanding of why Baretta was acting the way she was and never seemed to surprised by her antics . I don't know if I will go on vacations anytime soon because I don't like to leave her by herself but if I do I'm def calling Bill again and I hope he will take my offer . I feel safe leaving my precious princess In Bill's care and I think that's what is most important when finding a pet sitter . Also, Bill's rates are extremely reasonable for the service he provides. One fabulous thing about Wiggling Tails is that they do pick up and drop offs in the city! Michael, Martha, and team are excellent communicators and are willing to be flexible. I LOVE all the fun photo shoots they do. They are so creative and go above and beyond. I'm including in my post the Valentine's Day and Mother's Day photo shoots which they framed for me . In addition to the photo shoots they will take action shots and videos of your pup during the day. I have always felt safe sending Pippa to Wiggling Tails. He would come home smelling so good and fresh, and somehow always looking even more handsome than when I dropped him off. What I appreciated most was how gently and lovingly she handled him, especially as he got older. You can truly tell she cares about the pets she works with and treats them like her own. She even helped me trim my pitbull Gotti's nails (he passed away in August 2025). Even though Sharon normally only works with small dogs, she was so kind and willing to help me out with Gotti. That meant so much to me. I also brought my friend's dog, Bella, to Sharon for the longest time. Bella passed away two years ago, and she always smelled so good after a visit with Sharon. She truly had a special touch with all of them. Zack recently passed away as well, so I won't be bringing him in anymore, and that makes me so sad. I will definitely miss our visits with Sharon. I'll also miss seeing her sweet dog, Molly, who always greeted everyone that walked through the door. That warm welcome made it feel even more special. Her studio may not be the fanciest place out there, but what truly matters is the care, attention, and love she gives to our pets. That means everything. I was texted at the 3 hour mark when Sharon said the dog would be ready. Upon pickup Sharon shared my dog had a scab on her thigh I didn't notice and appreciated her for pointing out. I asked for a little more fur to be shaved from the top of her head and Sharon helped right away. I appreciate her communication and flexibility. Note I recommend to share a reference picture for a specific look you want to help with the process. I forgot to send my reference picture but everything turned out great.
