My partner and I have sent our two dogs to DogPile for both boarding and daycare, and we love it so much. They have a really large outdoor area, which is basically impossible to find anywhere else, and the dogs love it and are always tired when they come home. They treat the dogs so well, we get to see pictures of them on social media, and the dogs even get to celebrate their birthdays there with cake! We can tell that they love the dogs and treat them well, and no other daycare/boarding place we've seen in the area can even compare.

My 4-year-old cattle dog Marble and I have been attending DogPile Dogs since January and it has been a game-changer for both of us! From the very start, it was clear that everyone there truly cares about the dogs and their well-being. Marble has a tendency to police other dogs due to his herding DNA, which is an issue that I'm actively working on with him. I was incredibly nervous because this has caused some problems in previous daycares, but DogPile Dogs has never turned us away. Instead, Julia let me know once this behavior started to crop up again and everyone there has worked with us to try different ways of keeping Marble in check, including longer timeouts and putting him in different playgroups. After some trial and error, we finally found a solution by sending him back to kindergarten (AKA putting him with the little dogs)! I cannot thank DogPile enough for their proactive approach in problem-solving. Their daycare is in high demand with a long waitlist and it would have been easy for them to just turn us away. However, I believe that they truly bond and care about all the dogs that come here. Marble always comes home happy and tired from a fun day of play with his friends! If you're looking for a safe and loving daycare for your pup, look no further than Dogpile Dogs. To Julia, Colin, Phillip, Amy, and Insong: Thank you so much for everything!!!

DogPile is FAMILY!!! We've been with DogPile 2+ years and the best decision we ever could have made was to get our Belgian Malinois puppy in here early to socialize with dogs. His reaction when he sees any of the staff is priceless to us - he truly sees them as family and is in love. The best peace of mind is to go on vacation and know your hyperactive / high drive dog is taken care of by good humans who just get it!! One additional thing we are thankful for.. DogPile was very accommodating when our dog's neuter appointment was delayed AND when we moved out of SF. Yes we still drive into SF to drop off our dog here even when we moved, he loves it that much and we trust them more thank anything with our precious fur missile Malinois. THANK YOU DogPile!!

Happy and sleepy after a full day at DogPile.

DogPile literally feels like family to me. My Shiba Inu, who can be a stubborn pup absolutely adores this place. His excitement every time we walk up to the entrance let's me know he's being treated like their own. The daily videos to Instagram let me check in every now and again on my pup and I've always seen him happily playing with the others.

This place is a Godsend. I have a German Shepard puppy who was very poorly socialized... after one week at Dogpiles, my puppy Gracie now knows how to play well with others. I take her on other outings with other dogs and she's so well behaved everyone noticed a big difference. I highly recommend this place; the best experience I've had since being a dog owner.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DogPile Dogs! We used to bring our last dog to Wag Hotel, but with our new dog, we did some research and wanted to try something new.. And I'm SO glad we did because we absolutely LOVE the personal attention that Dogpile Dogs gives to all the great doggies there! When you think about Wag Hotel, it's great, they have all these super fancy spa treatments for your dog (who could care less). What do dogs actually care about? They care about having a great time with other dogs. They care about personal connections with the humans watching them. We always thought that overnight stays locked in a cold, hard, clear box were normal (at Wag Hotel), but after seeing the crate-free, cozy cots and mattresses at DogPile and multiple successful overnight stays, DogPile will forever be our go-to for our doggy day care and overnight stays. Not to mention, our dog never comes home smelling like pee anymore (a common occurrence at Wag). Everyone at DogPile is personable, genuine, and loves dogs. It's family-run, the same folks are always there, so it's so much more personal than other doggy day cares. They truly take the time to play and get to know your dog.. Check out their Instagram page to see for yourself. The people are amazing, you get the same consistent care, and it's always fun to see posts of your dog on their Instagram page!

I'm so grateful I found Dogpiles Dog for my bulldog son, Flex. This place is family owned and operated. Unlike other corporate doggy daycare, Amy, Phillip, Collin and Julia would go out of their way to make sure my puppy is comfortable while mommy is busy at work. Flex even got a complementary blueberry facial from Julia and Collin! My puppy is so well behaved around other dogs, many thanks to Dogpiles Dog dream team for all the social skills he got from the daycare. 5 stars is not enough for this place, Dogpiles Dog deserves 100+ stars. If you're looking to get the best care for your beloved pup, look no further, I highly recommend Dogpiles Dog.

Needed to find a daycare or boarding when all of our usual sitters were booked and Dogpile came through. The facility is clean, they can handle food and bath requests, open early and late, and the best part - she loves it. We've gone 4x now, and Evey time she is happy to go and tired when she comes back. She even tried to get me to take her today without prompt

Phil and Julia are amazing. You can tell they love what they do and that it translates in their care of your fur-baby.

DO NOT leave your dog with the owner of this business (Madison Ardgal) under any circumstances. She…read moreis irresponsible and erratic and hangs around dangerous people. My puppy (Riley) was supposed to stay with Madison from June 4th to June 13th but left Madison on the 6th and spent the rest of his stay at the SPCA due to her irresponsibility. Here were her mistakes: 1) Madison's home was messy. Upon being there for ~30 min, Riley was chewing on a date pit that I removed from his mouth. Madison was nonchalant about Riley potentially choking had I not been there. I should've gone with my gut feeling, asked for my money back, and taken Riley to another sitter but it was the night before my trip. I told myself I was just anxious about leaving him with someone for a week for the first time. 2) Riley had recently been neutered and had been bitten at the dog park multiple times by smaller dogs. The vet explained during the period after neutering, other dogs could become more aggressive towards Riley for ~6 weeks. I explained to Madison that while Riley has done well in doggy daycare with other dogs and has playmates, I did not want him around any animals during his stay with her for the vet's reasons. She agreed to this. We confirmed that she would walk Riley 3 times a day and would avoid the dog park/other dogs. I confirmed with her that Riley enjoys being at home and does well home alone so if she needed to run errands to leave him in a crate where he feels enclosed and safe. She completely ignored this agreement. 3) Madison took my puppy to her friend's house without my consent after I explicitly stated to her to not have my puppy around other dogs. Her friend had two dogs. She claimed my leashed puppy bit her friend's dog (Riley has NEVER been reactive in the past) and her friend's son, a ~40-year-old man who Madison described as mentally unstable and dangerous, grabbed my puppy by the hindleg, swung him into the air, and threw him. My puppy landed on things in the backyard and his leg was severely broken. Madison has accepted ZERO responsibility for putting my puppy in this easily avoidable situation and has yet to send me information about this man. She has also refused to refund me for my dog's stay ($450) or his medical bills (over $3,200) for her irresponsible behavior. I'll be taking her to small claims court to get my money back. 4) Madison claimed that Riley bit her during the altercation between him and her friend's dog. First, she said that Riley bit her hand and then changed it to her arm. She sent no pictures to back this up. Honestly, if Riley had bitten her after having been thrown by another human she seems to know, I would not blame him. If what she says is true, Riley was in a place with unknown people and unknown dogs, felt unsafe around some unstable man, and reacted accordingly. The only truth I know is that Riley's leg was severely broken and I had to ask the SPCA to board him for the remainder of my trip because I did not trust Madison to properly care for Riley. She couldn't follow basic instructions, there was no way I was trusting her to give him pain meds and antibiotics. 5) Madison told me about the incident four hours after it occurred and when she originally told me she said the man threw Riley but he landed fine and had a slight limp. I had to ask her pointed questions before she started to admit what happened. She told me she was taking Riley to the ER. I knew then that she was lying about the severity of his landing. It wasn't until I told Madison the vet told me that the angle and length of Riley's fracture were not adding up to the events she described that Madison devolved and began berating the man who threw Riley. She texted me "How dare he do what he did. He grabbed Riley by the fractured leg and swung him up in the air. He landed on top of stuff she had in the back yard. He was not thrown that high up I havr no reason to cover for that beast." 6) Madison went back and forth about reporting her claim that Riley bit another dog and the man for animal cruelty because she is fearful of the man who threw Riley. I think she's also aware that by reporting the bite, she has to report that she, as a business owner, took my puppy to someone else's house without my consent. If she were so afraid of this man, why did she have my puppy who I explicitly gave her rules for around this person? She has avoided giving me the man's information. She told me that he sent her a death threat and he's a dangerous person. I'm now concerned for my own safety.

Madison is amazing with our mini Aussie puppy, Boba! We first tried to do 2x daily walks, but he…read morewas so young (9 weeks) he had a lot of anxiety being alone. So Madison suggested daycare instead, and after that he's been a happy puppy in her care. It's been a few weeks now and he is soooo excited to see her every morning. Madison and Neil give us frequent updates throughout the day so we can follow along with his adventures. They're also teaching him confidence, helping him learn to play and go on walks with other dogs, and potty training. I don't know what we would do without them!!!
