The space is huge, so dogs actually get to run around and just be dogs. The family that runs it clearly cares so much, and it really shows. Plus, they post on Instagram so you can check in and see your dog having the best time, which I love. It's not easy to find a place you can fully trust with your dog, but DogPile Dogs makes it easy. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dogpile Dogs after using them for 2 years. We moved across the country and had an excellent cage free doggie daycare on the east coast and were scared we'd never find one as good again. Thankfully Dogpile Dogs came to the rescue with a fantastic friendly team, cage free environments with lots of space for the doggos, and just so much love and care apparent in all they do. Love that we don't have to make appointments for regular daycare and the way they love our dogs. My only wish is for even more pictures/videos on their Instagram! Best doggy daycare we have ever used. It is definately a family atmosphere and we felt so comfortable leaving our pup there. Our dog recently passed and during his last months, when he was significantly declining and suffering from a cognitive disorder they welcomed him in and treated him like his own. They made him feel comfortable which in turn made us feel comfortable leaving him with what he consider "family". Once he passed we donated all his toys and beds to them and still to this day we stop by to say hi because it is a sense of comfort for us to still connect with others who loved our dog as much as we did. Owner is very rude. The Bank cancelled my debit card due to a Bank unauthorized personal data breach. All debit cards were reissued without notification. I had no idea of this debit card reissuance until I received a letter and new card. When the Merchant tried to charge my card for the monthly fee, the transaction was declined and my membership was then immediately cancelled. I had never had any issues with payment prior to this. I tried to explain to the owner that the Bank issue was beyond my control but, I learned that she was all about the money. She refused to reinstate my membership and I was forced to leave that day with my grand-puppy. It was a horrible experience especially since I was only keeping the dog for three months while my daughter studied abroad in Italy. Dog Pile really left me in a bind! Awful customer service and loyalty. Beware!! REPLY: Wow! Of course, again, you would blame me and insinuate that I am the problem when I am not. I am quite aware of the establishment that I brought my grand-dog to on numerous occasions so, definitely not confused about that. And, for the record, I was never in a "bind." read more

My 4-year-old cattle dog Marble and I have been attending DogPile Dogs since January and it has been a game-changer for both of us! From the very start, it was clear that everyone there truly cares about the dogs and their well-being. Marble has a tendency to police other dogs due to his herding DNA, which is an issue that I'm actively working on with him. I was incredibly nervous because this has caused some problems in previous daycares, but DogPile Dogs has never turned us away. Instead, Julia let me know once this behavior started to crop up again and everyone there has worked with us to try different ways of keeping Marble in check, including longer timeouts and putting him in different playgroups. After some trial and error, we finally found a solution by sending him back to kindergarten (AKA putting him with the little dogs)! I cannot thank DogPile enough for their proactive approach in problem-solving. Their daycare is in high demand with a long waitlist and it would have been easy for them to just turn us away. I feel so lucky to have found this place for my pup! The facility is AMAZING, and it is family-owned and operated. I really appreciate their philosophy on caring for the dogs (no excessive treats, letting dogs be cage-free and leash-free, having the freedom to be indoor or outdoors, etc). DogPile is like part of our family now. Not only does our pup spend most days with his friends there (for a reasonable monthly rate), but they've bailed us out on multiple occasions. When my wife had an accident and we stayed at the hospital, DogPile took care of our pup. When we had a baby and couldn't keep a schedule, they took care of our pup overnight without us even needing to call. Everyone there is caring, attentive, and most importantly, loves puppers. This place is doggy heaven. They have a big outdoor area for dogs to play around, and an inside area to chill. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DogPile Dogs! We used to bring our last dog to Wag Hotel, but with our new dog, we did some research and wanted to try something new.. And I'm SO glad we did because we absolutely LOVE the personal attention that Dogpile Dogs gives to all the great doggies there! When you think about Wag Hotel, it's great, they have all these super fancy spa treatments for your dog (who could care less). What do dogs actually care about? They care about having a great time with other dogs. They care about personal connections with the humans watching them. We always thought that overnight stays locked in a cold, hard, clear box were normal (at Wag Hotel), but after seeing the crate-free, cozy cots and mattresses at DogPile and multiple successful overnight stays, DogPile will forever be our go-to for our doggy day care and overnight stays. Not to mention, our dog never comes home smelling like pee anymore (a common occurrence at Wag). Everyone at DogPile is personable, genuine, and loves dogs. It's family-run, the same folks are always there, so it's so much more personal than other doggy day cares. They truly take the time to play and get to know your dog.. Philip and his family are personable and thoughtful: They always remember our dogs and their needs, and they even gave us a gift to congratulate us on our wedding! When we bring our dogs to DogPile, they make a beeline for the entrance and don't seem sad or anxious at all about saying bye. This is like a playground for them. The people giving bad reviews must have had some personal issues with Anna or her staff. If you don't like the pickup and drop off hours then don't leave your dog here. It's not a 24/7 Costco! Dogpile is great. We have boarded our dog at least 5 or 6 times with no problems. Anna is always very clear about pick up and drop off times so you know exactly how to schedule. Yes your dog will get dirty because there's an outside play area and they are having fun - that's a good thing. Also they share beds but that is the alternative to cages, also good IMO. Another great note is that they use hospital grade cleaners that are safe and take care of the majority of the dog smell that would linger on cloth surfaces. We've been taking our cavalier, Louis, to DogPile since February 2020 and he absolutely loves it! He generally has anxiety and is a stage 5 clinger, but when he realizes we are close to DogPile he starts tugging at his leash and is super excited to go inside. He doesn't even say goodbye to his mom! DogPile has a huge outdoor/indoor space with lots of room for the pups to run around, Louis is exhausted when he comes home. We like that he's not stuck in a kennel or a small room the entire day. We were able to go inside before the pandemic and it was always clean, didn't smell, and the dogs looked happy and well-cared for. It's super easy to drop off Louis either for the day or if we have errands to run. Someone is always there and they are flexible with drop-off/pick-ups. The prices are reasonable and the DogPile team could not be nicer! They post pictures and videos on instagram (@dogpiledogs) and it's fun to see Louis and the other pups playing. We must have tried out about 3-4 different doggy daycares before finally finding Dogpile Dogs and therefore I feel totally confident in saying that this place is UNMATCHED in the city of SF. The other places we went to smelled, had rude employees, and wouldn't really care about the safety of our new 7 month old puppy. When I first came to scope out DD I was INSTANTLY relieved because first of all, it's family owned and these people LOVE the dogs they care for, and the facilities are SPOTLESS. We decided to look into Dogpile because it's within walking distance of our apartment. The tour really helped put me at ease and I got to see how my dog would interact in the space.
