I just wrote a review for the repair shop next door and it reminded me that I never got around to…read morepraising this tire spot right next door. I was driving around with a flat tire in the back for almost a year. I would add air to it and visit a tire shop every other month only to be told that there is no hole in the tire, yet the gauge would say the pressure is dropping daily. I thought maybe it's just the sensor, but my gas mileage for the car was abysmal, too. Anyway, after spending probably $200 in visits to tire shops to have them take the tire off, soap it up, and tell me there's no hole and charge me half price to air it up and put it back on, when I got a second flat on another tire I pulled up to this place. I'll be honest, the first guy said there's no hole either. Then, another guy came over, and it's been a few months now so I forgot the names and for that I am very sorry, but he spotted the hole in like, no exaggeration, in 1 SECOND. I'm talking about a tire hole that 15 other people couldn't find, looking for a combined hour or two. The guy saw it IMMEDIATELY. As fast as a blink of an eye. I can't convey the speed in a way that feels satisfying enough to me, that's how fast he saw it. Anyway, long story longer.. tires fixed, price super super reasonable especially for a change of a tire and 1 patch. I think it was something like $80. The whole thing took 10-15 minutes, plus they took me in just before closing time. Somehow I have a habit of showing up for auto repair right before the place is closing and the guys want to go home. Finally got the tire fixed, got a go to flat tire place on the island, didn't feel ripped off. Good stuff.

Stumbled up on this place when I was going to my Uncle's body shop (which was only a few blocks away from ONEighty) to replace a headlight on my Audi A8L. I delt with Alex, who was extremely helpful. Ended fixing my headlight there for a fraction of the cost comparing to buying a new one. While my car was there, I decided it to tinted all around, including the head lights and also powder coated my rims (black). I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Alex and the team. I highly recommend this place for any car upgrades!!!

Prior to driving over to Staten Island, I communicated with their manager through one of their social media platforms. I got pretty quick replies from them and I was informed about the time needed to get everything done and the price for the service. I agreed and proceed to make an appointment with them. Upon arrival, I was greeted by one of their staff and he took my car to their in-door garage and started taking off the bumper within the first 30 minutes. They prefer not to have customers wait inside their garage while their technicians work on your car. Thus I waited at their office/lobby. The office itself have nice decor with TV and seating area, and the 2 bathrooms are nice/clean. Overall I don't have any complaints other than wishing they would've informed me what they were going to do after taking my car away instead of jumping right into the project I requested without giving me any updates in the first 30 minutes. Other than that, these guys are skilled and they finished everything in said time frame. I can see that they have tons of experience working with very expensive car brands so my little hyundai is a cake walk for them. Happy to return in the future for any future projects! Thanks Alex and his team!

They seem to run a good shop, which is probably why its filled with expensive cars every time I visited. I had got a few quotes for PPF and felt that the price here was quite reasonable. Only complaint was that the car took forever to get PPF'd. I did drop it there straight from buying it at the dealership, and they did mention that they'd only be able to start the following week. But it still took about 3 weeks after that to turn around, which was longer than the 2 weeks that I was initially quoted. I'm a bit surprised by that given other reviews are mentioning their cars were done quicker. In any case, I would rather they take their time and do a good job rather than rushing. I would bring my Cayman here to get PPF'd now, but I already have a bunch of chips. If I ever get another sports car I will likely bring it here.

If the system would allow, I would give it 0 stars. Finally ended up paying to get it redone. For those interested in film installs, just keep this in mind when you vet out your installer. They are using *x-acto* type knives to score the film on the car. It takes a skilled hand to do it.

Everyone there seems serious -- even first timers/beginners like me. I signed up for a class, and immediately fell in love with metal. The variety of classes is amazing -- you can "sample" different techniques, or get a basic understanding of all of the ways you can work with metal, both for forms, jewelry, whatever - and I quickly lost my fear of using the torch for soldering, and equipment for powder coating which at first seemed daunting. I make a living as an artist and writer but have never had the luxury of learning to create in three-dimension, and learning it right (rather than self-taught via video or book). They have lectures, short seminars, day seminars and longer classes. I am sure that professionals know about this place, but I would highly recommend it for anyone that is curious, or has always had a hankering to learn to make jewelry out of metal - powder coating, enameling, concrete jewelry, soldering, and other techniques that you can use to build and experiment. Highly recommended for beginner and pro alike. This is a treasure for the neighborhood!
