The problem turned out to be much more serious than initially expected, and resolving it required several visits by Mazgan's technicians. Although the repair process was more involved than anyone had anticipated, the company continued working on the problem until it was fully resolved. Throughout the process, the technicians proved themselves to be responsible professionals who worked hard to solve the problem. Mazgan arranged for the necessary parts to be supplied by Navien. In several cases, obtaining those parts at no cost required Mazgan to negotiate with Navien on my behalf. The company was also very accommodating regarding the overall cost of the repairs. In the end, Mazgan proved to be a reliable company that stands behind its work and can be trusted to see a difficult project through to completion.

He then knocked it down to $4300. Still ridiculously HIGH!!! They add in line items like $500 crane fee for their lazy asses to lift the 15 lbs unit in the air. They originally tried to charge $225/lbs of R410A freon. I could go on and on. In the end they left me hanging but thank God they did. I called another company that charged me $2600 total to install a brand new unit ($700), with 11 lbs @ only $95/lbs of freon fee and none of their predatory fees- just an hourly rate. Mazgan is so unscrupulous. I hate vendors like this. STEER CLEAR. I cannot express this enough.

I was able to schedule with Climate Helpp last minute, they were very responsive and flexible, and gave me a very fair price. Ayrat was on time, checked with me to see if everything looked good to me and asked if I wanted anything adjusted. He waited to make sure the AC was working properly, then cleaned up the area and removed the old unit. I hope I get a chance to work with him again soon, although I also hope I don't need to!

Buyer beware! I can…read morenow understand why this company has numerous 5-star reviews. Initially, I had given it a 1-star rating (if I could give zero, I would). However, I was advised to remove my initial review or our project would not be completed. On Father's Day morning, we called this company for an emergency due to issues with our boilers. Initially, we were impressed by their prompt response and diagnostic services. However, working with David and his company turned out to be the worst experience we could have had. David promised us a new HVAC system (water heater and heat pump) within a day or two. This has now turned into three weeks. The communication between us and David was terrible, and he even threatened us. To make matters worse, he left our family in the middle of a heatwave, with a newborn baby! David has said vile things to my family because we asked questions about the work that was supposed to be completed and complained that the service we paid for was not complete. He was angry that we filed a complaint with the financial institution we worked with to get the work done he removed the breaker from the heat pump system and told us that "our children will suffer tonight" ( heat wave in affect and it's over 100 degrees in the home ). His words were so disturbing that they are not allowed anywhere near our property. They also damaged and left a hole in our ceiling. After stating that someone would come to fix it, just like they usually do, no one came, and they didn't even bother to follow up. We had to pay someone else to come and fix it. We took out a loan for a specific system and he promised us that system, yet installed a cheaper lesser system with equally bad customer service. Once the job was reluctantly "finished," our heat pump didn't work, and we had to call in and pay other companies to not only evaluate the work this company did but also fix it. We later found out that the work they did could have resulted in a fire if we had kept the unit running. Not only are they dishonest and take advantage of emergency situations, but they also do horrible work.

Finally, by chance I got hold of SohoHVAC and John spent time discussing the issue in detail with me before he came to diagnose in person and when he did come he fixed the issue in no time at all, as what he originally diagnosed was the problems so he came prepared. I texted back requesting that Jorge call me in advance if he thinks my window AC unlikely to be repairable. I got no response so I assumed the text chain was unmonitored. I rearranged my day, got up before 8am, and waited. At 11:15am, no one had come, so I called. The person on the phone was very apologetic and said someone would call me back immediately to let me know when the tech would arrive. I rearranged appointments for the afternoon. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 1:30pm: same apology and promise. No call. I rearranged more of my appointments for the afternoon. I called again at 3pm: same apology, same promise. In desperation, I told them I was about to write a bad Yelp review. That's clearly the ONLY thing that made them bother to respond to me because, finally, at 3:15pm, Brenda texted me on the same text chain (so the text WAS monitored after all): "I am sorry for window AC we usually replace them do not perform repair." What??? They had confirmed that they DO perform such repairs. And even if the phone person had been mistaken, they KNEW they had made an appointment with me 8-11am. But no one had bothered to contact me to tell me anything! They knew I was calling again and again begging for a response.
