I called 5 of them and waited for responses. A manager at Golden Group was the first to respond. I made an appointment with him on the following Saturday and by then 3 others had responded and met me on that day. Long story short: I chose Golden Group and am still pleased I did. They finished the job in 2 days with a large, industrious crew who were incredibly hardworking and did a wonderful job cleaning up. They found the leakage problem under the old shingles on rotting planks of wood which they replaced before adding new shingles. It looks so much better and I would use Golden Group again!

From initial consultation to start of the work, everything was smooth and very simple - he explained very clearly what was needed and kept making sure I had no questions. During the same visit, as he was assessing the roof on my garage, he inquired if I ever considered a skylight for the bonus room. In like manner, he had an assessment and estimate in my hands and, after I agreed, likewise made a point to begin the work as soon as he could. I've attached pictures to show progress. I am beyond pleased with the final product. Not only did they install a beautiful skylight, they repainted the rest of the wall to match and the finished work looks as if it were installed as part of the original bonus room. Douglas and his team clearly know roofing, windows, and framing. And their skills back up their work. To make things even better, when a subsequent wind & rain storm resulted in a few drips on the sides of the skylight, Douglas and team were back within days to reassess their work - they removed the skylight, re-checked and shored up the lining, and reinstalled the window in less than a day at no additional cost. Douglas and his company stand by their word and their work. It is a lost attribute in this world of service-providers, and thus working with them was refreshing. The team also fixed a leak I'd had in the garage for years, and also put on an excellent ridge vent and took care of some rot (replaced boards) on my soffits & trim. Our house has gutter guards - not installed by Heritage. When, in winter, i saw a problem with my gutters clogged/not draining, Kevin came over with his ladder, went up, removed the gutter guard, and cleaned out the down spout front and back of my house - for free... I had been calling around for gutter cleaning estimates (tough during winter) and one vendor pretty much said "you have to replace everything" without even seeing the job. Even then he could have said your whole roof needs to be redone , but he suggested a patch would do the trick. I recently discovered I had yet another problem with the roof again. It was near where he worked on it. I thought maybe I should call Jon. We have a mutual acquaintance who told me Jon was incredibly busy. Not surprising. I also have seen advertisements for Uxbridge residents on Facebook and Instagram. I figured he may have had to limit his area and that he was more than likely inundated with various roofing jobs. I thought maybe my job would be way too small for him. I had a 6-8 ft section of my roof that had gotten spongey. I have huge icicles that slam down hard on the roof as well as ice dams that I try to keep ahead of. While shoveling snow off the roof this past winter I discovered the problem. I still had his name in my contact list so I decided to give it a try and text him. I told him the problem, and that it wasn't an emergency. I also told him I had a vacation and wouldn't be home for a week. As soon as I got home I got a text from him the next day saying that he'd come and take a look at it. He did! After his assessment he said he'd get to it soon as possible. I wasn't expecting that to be 3 days later! He sent some of his crew and they put a new piece of plywood , roofing supplies, and new shingles and made it look like nothing ever happened. They were here for about 3 hours. I texted him to say thank you and to let me know what I had owed him. Let's just say what I thought I was going to have to pay , His number came WAY under what I had expected When I told my wife that we're gonna have to deal with the roof, she said are you gonna get a few estimates ? I said "no I have Jon Rigali!!! " And these days when customer services is sometimes sorely lacking it was refreshing to have such an amazing follow up , dedication, and a feeling of confidence that whatever I needed, roof repair , new roof, etc that Jon will take care of it !!! Recommended by my husbands co-worker, Michael was awesome to work with. Very responsive and helpful. Prior to the big day, they delivered the supplies and dumpster and on the actual day the crew arrived ready to go! They quickly set up the protective nets around the whole house and then stripped the old shingles, fixed the hole and replaced bad boards. This was my first roof replacement and I had no idea what to expect, but they were done so quickly! They were there approximately from 8-2ish, if I remember correctly. They did a great cleanup job as well. I was going to write a review when this was done a month ago but forgot. To my surprise, a cookie delivery came today thanking us for our business!
