It's been three weeks since my son was seen, and the referral is still not ready. When I asked about the delay, the staff said it was no one's fault--which is extremely frustrating. I've already taken the day off for his upcoming heart appointment, but now we may have to reschedule if the referral doesn't arrive in time. There seems to be no sense of urgency at all. Doctor is the best. She listens to concerns and explains procedures good. staff in the front are sweet and always have lolipops. referrals are fast, especially if you communicate with them. My son loves this place. My favorite part is they always answer and if you need an appointment they fit you right in. Although I wish the room for a little bit bigger. I like Dr. Delgado, she's been taking care of my first born from the day she was born until now for how many years, and now to my second born as well. She is always attentive to my concerns, and give me advices on what to do or don't. She takes time checking on my kids and not rushing. Front office ladies and nurses are kind as well, they always makes sure that they can help us, we dont had a hard time making an appointments. The only thing that i dont like is waiting for awhile whenever they are busy but everything else is great. read more

This Dr. is so nice, and the office is helpful and gets me right in. HOWEVER, If you suspect your child has an unusual or genetic condition make sure to get a second opinion, and do not let her talk you out of further testing or seeing a specialist because everything is "normal"...when things do not seem normal to you! You are probably right! This place is great for an ear infection and routine check ups though. BUT scary because they will miss something serious. read more

First off, this 2 star review is not for the staff. They are always super nice and helpful. I feel bad leaving this review just because of how excellent they are. You're amazing ladies! These 2 stars go to Dr. Delgado. Every time I've been in this office I felt rushed and like she didn't care about the well-being of my daughter. She did her check ups in a hurry and never took the time to answer the questions we had. There is always quite a wait so I'm assuming she's trying to see everyone before they close. As I would normally just chalk this up to an overbooking issue, her attitude is what finally made me call it quits and switch pediatricians after giving her about 4 chances. She acts like she doesn't care about her patients and gets annoyed when asked questions, she even rolled her eyes! Her bedside manner needs major improvement. read more

It has been 13 years since Dr. Delgado became our primary pediatrician for our first child. 13 years later we are still here. It is a struggle to get 3 kids in and out of office visits but this office has always made it a hassle free process. Although the waiting rooms can get a bit overcrowded at times it's worth the wait. The entire Tri-Star staff is easy to deal with and Dr. Delgado is an outstanding pediatrician. We are fortunate to have a trust worthy doctor for so many years. I made an appointment for my 12-year-old daughter to get her needed shots for 7th grade, and for her sports physical. The first MA had an attitude, the second MA didn't say a word to me, she just told my daughter to put her arm out so she can get her blood pressure reading. Didn't tell me any of her vitals and just left the room. A few minutes goes by and Dr. Delgado comes into the room. She does some basic examination and then tells my daughter she needs to work on losing weight, not eating junk food, drink water and not juice or soda, and to be more active. I sat there stunned and couldn't believe what I was hearing. My daughter is there because she is active and is there for a sports physical. She doesn't drink soda or juice, she drinks water all day. And we don't eat junk food or fast food, my husband and I cook our meals for our family. Thankfully my daughter knows that there is nothing wrong with how she looks, and that she is extremely muscular and that if we went off the BMI charts, she would have to starve herself to get to what is considered "normal" and that it's not a one size fits all. She doesn't look 12, she's taller and built like she should be in high school, which is exactly how her father and I have been our entire lives. I just think it's completely inappropriate for a doctor to say that to a child they're meeting for the first time, and had she said this to any of my other children she would have ruined their self esteem and self image, and done some serious damage or triggered the beginning of an eating disorder. I do not recommend this place unless you are in dire need of last minute care. The only person who was decent was the receptionist. Everyone else was extremely rude and had an attitude. read more

Staff are great , very friendly. However Dr. Delgado doesn't seem to care and seems like she's always in a hurry . Took my seven year old son to see her and he had a cough and cold , he accidentally coughed on her and she seemed disgusted by it . Being a first time mother and having to choose the right pediatrician was definitely something I was big on. The next day after I went into labor , Dr Delgado came in and introduced her self to me, and gave me insight on her location. My son was born with jaundice and I was of course freaked out about it . But Tri Star got me set up over the phone with an appointment while in the hospital. After checking out the hospital and going the following day to Tri star for my appointment , Delgado was so helpful and gave me all the resources I needed! My son is now going on two and I have still been coming here ever since. Delgado always explains what shots are going to be given, side effects, after care and so on! Delgado hears you out , answers all you're questions , no matter how crazy they may be! Delgado is friendly and makes you feel welcomed, along with the front desk and staff in the back! I wish I remembered her name but she is the main assistant who gives the shots, well anyways I think she's amazing and warm hearted , and also fast when it comes to the needles! read more

Really wanted to like this place since I went here as a teen and so did my sister. Back then she had great bedside manner and spent time with you. Now that I have my kids, it just hasn't been the same. Wait times are horrible, and she doesn't seem to spend as much time with you; as I would like. So unfortunate, as I know she just is soo busy but it's not worth it to me anymore. The staff at front are great! read more

The Dr. is decent but the office staff are assholes. I would not recommend this office due to horrible office staff. Staff is too busy on personal calls to check patients in. Office manager does not come in till 3 pm. When you ask a question staff insults you. Appointments are never on time and staff blames Dr. as the office only has one Dr. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. If your child is sick take any where but here. read more

My daughter had been seen since birth by Dr. Delgado and as new parents went to the doctor at least ones a week for different concerns. Dr. Delgado never remembered my daughter's medical records. We had to always remind her of her allergies, even after reminding her she would still suggest to give her what she was allergic to. We had to take our daughter to a gastroenterologist to get diagnosed with the allergies, Dr. Delgado dismissed her agony as normal colic. We're currently looking for a new doctor. read more

Very Fortunate to have the same Pediatrician for years--the accessibility to Dr. Stella is worth a million bucks! We have never had any issues getting our kids in when they need to see her and have always felt very confident in her care. She has a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I've had my daughter going to tri star pediatrics since she was 5 days old. I have not had any issues with scheduling wait times or immunizations. There have been maybe 2 times that we had to wait longer than we have before. DR. Delgado is a great doctor and even though I've moved across town, I still bring her there after 2 Years. She is due for her 2 yr. Shots on the 17th of September. (her 2nd birthday) but may consider moving to a closer pediatrician. I really hate to leave a doctor that has never done me wrong after 2 years.. But gas is expensive and I am beginning to not be able to afford the drive back and forth.. I love that Dr. And want her to have the same doctor for all her immunizations. But all in all I feel the staff is very Friendly and accommodating read more

If I could give this doctor a zero I would. She doesn't take the time with patients and dismisses the symptoms. We waited a long time to get an MRI for my daughter because the staff had no idea how to do send a request and the doctor gave me the wrong form ( how do you not know that we need to be admitted to a hospital for a child MRI?) I had to call myself and get help from the person at the hospital. Had to call everyday and pretty much do the job myself. I spoke to the manager and he did not even care about my concerns, asked to speak to the doctor and I was denied. If you have children who have a serious health issues DO NOT go there! I am a firm believer of giving businesses chances to make up for mishaps that occur (long wait times, scheduling errors, immunization mistakes, etc). However, my 2nd son Is almost 6 months now, and ALL of his routine checkups have been a disaster. I patiently waited for our scheduled appointment... each time I have waited in the waiting room 30min to an hour and a half before being seen. Walk ins would be brought in before us, and once in the exam room, we would wait another 30min to an hour to be seen by the doctor. Appointment reminder cards had the wrong date written on them, instructions from the doctor to follow up for 2mo appts were scheduled 2 months from the last visit instead of 2mo old. And when we were fairly new to the group, they assumed that my so would not be receiving immunizations because they did not see his immunization history in the system from the hospital when he was born (they noticed afterwards that they had searched for my name incorrectly... but did not bring it up to my attention until after they told me that since there were no records in the system, so that is why they did not plan for his shots - not sure why they would not ask me up front to verify that nothing is in the system). Nurse practioner sent my son and I to the ER immediately for signs of croup. Arrived at the ER, and they sent us home with no concerns, no needs for medication, no needs for monitoring. So that was an additional unnecessary expense. I'm slightly concerned as to why the previous comments were removed. Won't be able to tolerate any more and will need to find a new pediatrician soon. Just sharing so others will not run into the same experience. read more

Was very hopeful, but so disappointed. While the front desk staff was sweet, I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. This was our first time, and I expected much better service. The waiting room was packed and had families sitting on the floor their wait was so long. Keeping kids entertained for an hour is hard enough, but being crammed in that little waiting room no one could move around. I figured it was a busy day, but the service from Dr. Delgado was the worst I've had, claiming my daughter needed to start weaning off a bottle at 14 months and needed a therapist for not walking. We were very anxious to leave, and I was so sad to feel that way at a pediatricians office. read more
