The office staff are amazing!! Today I surprised them with a special cake. I am very thankful for all the help they gave me every time I take my nephew and my daughter. Type of care is pediatric care, just for kids from newborns to 18 year old. The care that they provide to their patients is phenomenal. They always making sure that their patients are treated well and making sure they get the right care they need. Really far from us but have been coming here since my daughter was born & shes 6 now. Love the place & the staff.

Stay far away from this place. The nurses are robots they repeat the same questions you already answered constantly call my daughter a boy because they can't take 1 second out of their day to look at my baby or her chart. The nurse had an attitude when my baby wasn't stripped down to a diaper when the nurse didn't tell me to. She then asked if I breastfeed her as I had my daughter currently breastfeeding on my chest at the time. I had to change her diaper because they took so long coming to the room and the nurse acted like we were such an inconvenience and we should've done it before. Mind you, we waited an hour before seeing the doctor with a newborn she gets needy and sitting in an office that long is very inconvenient. When the nurse took us to get her weight we were just standing in the hallway with a naked newborn fussing for 5 minutes because they only have 2 areas to measure and they both had people in them and they measured my newborn with another family in the room. Very unprofessional. We did like Dr. Carrie and that's why we came to this practice but the rest of the staff is just incompetent. read more

As a physician and new mom it was daunting to choose a pediatrician for my first baby. I was referred here by my obgyn who takes her son here and I have so far been blown away by this office. From the front desk, ma's, referrals, and billing staff everyone has been really friendly and the office runs very smoothly and efficiently. We have seen Dr shah in the hospital and office and NP Nicole who are both very sweet. There is a bit of a wait to get in to see Dr. Carrie but she is definitely worth the wait. She is sunshine in human form, extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and I feel like my baby is in good hands here. Since coming here I have realized that neighbors and my favorite nurse from work all take children here and I have since referred my work colleague as well. As a bonus this office is adorable and makes adults and children alone smile walking through the doors. Update: I want to give a special shout out to Suzetta, the referral/prior auth coordinator. She is extremely fast, has excellent and clear communication, and is on top of her stuff. Because of her we had an ultrasound on a Monday at 1 pm, stat referral placed later that afternoon once resulted, referral authorized by Tuesday morning, and we were in to see a specialist on Thursday. Absolutely unheard of. Fast coordination and dedication to patient care like this is what saves lives and we appreciate her and the whole staff. read more

Horrible service! I would never recommend and I would never go back! The front end office staff and nurse staff to make an appointment are so unprofessional. You walk in and are not greeted properly, they have personal conversations while you wait to be checked in. They blow their nose right in front of you don't even sanitize after! They had a billing issue with my federal paid insurance very good insurance and they denied seeing my daughter that had excruciating ear pain until they got paid from the insurance I had to find an urgent care to take her to instead. I have so many stories of every time I needed help or had a question or needed an appointment where they didn't help me or were rude! The DR and nurses are nice but it's unfortunate their front office is horrible! read more

Dr.Carie was nightly recommended by the NICU staff at ST.Rose Hospital. She has been my son's doctor since he was born. Most recently her office manager assisted me promptly in filling out paperwork for my son to move him to a different preschool. Siena Pediatrics has been my daughter's pediatrician for almost four years and we love it here! My daughter actually gets excited to come to the doctor. I know many other families who come here and are all happy as well. The office is so cute for kids with a marine theme. The office is divided into two sides, one well and one sick. I love this! Nobody wants to sit by sick kids at a well visit. Each side has a tv, books, and a table for kids. We've only had a long wait a couple of times. Most visits are a reasonable wait. I'm usually able to get a convenient appointment time for well visits that are booked in advance. Sick visits can be a little tougher obviously, especially when there are seasonal peaks in illness. Even during these times the office does try really hard to get us in. One time they were booked, but called back 30 minutes later after a cancellation to fit us in. We've only had to go to urgent care instead once. I love all of the doctors here. Dr. Carrie is amazing and always gives so much helpful information at visits. She's the hardest to get an appointment with for good reason. Recently, we've had appointments with Dr. Anne and Dr. Chase. I also found them to be amazing. All three are thorough, didn't rush me when I had questions, and were great with my daughter. Billing has been smooth over the years. At one point they stopped taking our insurance, but we kept coming even though they were out of network. Thankfully my husband's company changed insurance companies and Siena Pediatrics is in network again for us. I'm so happy that I found Siena Pediatrics and have pediatricians I can trust for my daughter's care. read more

Just switched over from another dr but so far they are so much better. Dr. C is so caring and gentle. She makes me feel like she actually cares about her patients and isn't just looking for just another pay. The office staff are also really nice and helpful. My husband and I couldn't recommend Dr. Carrie enough to all parents for their precious little ones. To start, her bedside manner is unmatched. She's so happy and positive and so pleasant to talk with. Our nurses in the postpartum wing of our hospital were raving about her when they found out she was our pediatrician. That was such a good sign, and honestly she's really all they said and more. Dr. Carrie has been a pediatrician for a long time and she lets you know how what used to be recommended, what's recommended now, and what she'd recommend given your baby's particular situation. So, SO knowledgeable. I can't even tell you how much I relied on my early visits with Dr. Carrie. She always made my concerns feel validated but also helped to remind and settle my first-time-mom heart by reminding me that worrying is such a normal part of parenting. She truly has helped me and my husband feel more confident in our parenting instincts. Just the best overall!! PRO TIP: My baby has been sick a couple times, and the nurses that answer the phones are great too. Seems to be front office is the main issue here. Not all but most lack customer facing etiquette. When someone walks in you should make eye contact and speak directly. SMILE. You are looking down at your computer or clipboard on the far right side of the counter, I am at the front center, how am supposed to know who you are speaking to or what you are saying?? Lack of respect. When I told her the reason why I was here and the name of my child and that I didn't know who she was talking about, she THEN decided to look up and direct me to her side of the counter. Just a reminder to the front desk staff; you are the first impression and can make or break the whole experience. Thankfully the providers are amazing and the reason why we still come here. Finally we found our Doctor once again, DR. Cynthia Chase. She used to be my daughter Doc at different office. SHE IS AMAZING, just imagine we looked for her for about 2 years (No exaggeration). As always, she is caring and patience with her patients. All I can say is shes a 5 star Doc. 6 if I can give 6 star. This clinic looks great and kid friendly. This is long overdue. We've been going to Siena Pediatrics for almost 10 years now. Dr. Carrie has always been great to us. Caring, smart, and she takes extra time with us. Which is why there was always a wait to see her. So one time we saw a new doctor here. Don't worry, I promise this doctor Chuck is gone. My wife and I brought our son in to Dr. Chuck to discuss his difficulty finishing last school year. Our 9 year old was being bullied and we wanted some help navigating how to proceed fairly and without overreacting. Admittedly, we were both flustered. I wanted to tell my son to hit back. Fight back. My wife wanted to tell our son to ignore it and have the inner strength and resolve to turn the other cheek like church says. We visited Dr. Chuck and he talked with our son for five minutes and determined he had anxiety. He then told us the best option for our son was to put him on a medicine for a month and then come back to see him. We didn't push back because the doctor said it's what our son needed. Before the medicine, our son was fine but he was afraid to go to school. After, on the medicine, he was emotionless. He was a zombie. He didn't talk at breakfast. He wasn't excited anymore. He didn't seem like my son. After a major fight with my wife which we are happy we had, despite what the doctor said, we didn't wait the month. We followed up after 3 weeks. This time we got a new doctor. (Thank God) Doctor Matt. He confused why our son was given Lexapro. I've heard of Lexapro for depression, but said that's not what the bottle said. The doctor said there are "generic" and "trade" names for medicines. We were given a generic. I won't lie, I blame myself for not asking more questions and wanting my son not to be afraid. It was an easy answer. I was mad. Very mad. Doctor Matt spent an hour with us, talking about our original concern and fears. He made my son smile. Rather than medicine, he recommended a therapist to start and worked to get us one. He also help me and my wife find a balance. I know it's probably our fault for not thinking about it, but the doctor Matt recommended marshal arts like karate. They said it could balance my desire to help make our son be stronger in the face of bullies and fight back if he has to, but that good instructors teach fighting is a last resort. My wife was very happy. Thankfully, our son is in Tae Kan Do now, a month later. He has seen the therapist. He's doing better and not on medication. Unfortunately this doctors office has great doctors but terrible staff. My daughter came down with being sick out of nowhere and I was told that I needed to schedule a sick visit. I expressed that she was not sick earlier so how was I supposed to know she would be sick later? The daycare recommended that due to her fever and other symptoms that she go to the doctor and it shouldn't be an issue for a walk in since she is under 2 years old. Ohhhh boy I was wrong. I asked to speak to a nurse or manager and was told I would be transferred to one that was available and to only be sent to voicemail and now they aren't picking up my calls. This is not the first incident of this type of behavior by the staff and just know trying to get an appointment let alone get them on the phone is a task! I'm leaving this facility as I absolutely loved it and now I can't stand it. Get it together guys, my friend warned me of this office and unfortunately she proved herself correct. Dr Carrie is the first pediatrician I meet and didn't even bother looking for another pediatrician. She is very patient, sweet, professional and explains very well. My husband and I are first time parents and she took her time to answer a lot of our questions. Her practice is very clean and her staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Never was seen here, but inquired multiple times to make an appointment for my son since we just moved here. I have contacted them via email and phone multiple times prior to the whole COVID shutdown. We have an out of state insurance, so I wanted to make sure that they did take it. It's a PPO plan, so it's accepted at A LOT of medical facilities. I don't want to put names down. I spoke with the biller on the phone, emailed her copies of our insurance (front and back.), and she said she'll contact them, and give me a call back. I gave her about a week to get back to me, and still didn't hear back from them. So I called them again, and spoke with the same person. She said she'll have to get back to me to check my insurance. I was fine with that, but then again didn't hear back from her. So I called them back. She gave me the same answer. Now I'm getting frustrated because I worked at a medical clinic. It's not hard to verify insurance, and make sure that your provider is a participating provider with a specific insurance. A lot of the times you can verify eligibility via insurance portal online.I get that clinics can get busy, but never returning a call even to say that sorry we don't accept your insurance for me is very unacceptable. I called a different pediatrics clinic,and during that same phone call they were able to check eligibility online and make sure they accept my insurance, and set an appointment date for my son. This is regarding PA Nicole Cash. My daughter went there this afternoon due to coughing of my grandson she refused to 1. Give a note for the school that my grandson was seeing 2. She refused to give a note to the school to give permission for my grandson to ease his cough by sucking on a lollipop as this keeps his throat moist which for full disclosure a Doctor they saw previously had no problem giving the two notes to the school! Man I have been through ups and down with this facility. The doctors and PA's are amazing. It's the front desk who make each visit frustrating. It has nothing to do with the frequent questions or documentation reminders- those are great. It has more to do with priority, if I were not being seen- then we're forgotten. I literally needed a copy of my immunization records for registration. The front reception already had an unpleasant attitude. She asked me if I called for them? Um yeah I called and left a message and no one got to me. So she got my information and ask me to take a seat, after 20mins passed by I came to conclusion that something was wrong. Turns out she forgot about me and didn't bother to tell any of the staff to print, when the other gal made an excuse of her not having access. I swear If the doctors weren't amazing, I would of looked for another pediatrician. Moral of the story: don't sit down when told to. Stand in front where your in plan sight. This process only took a minute too complete. Great way to ruin someone's day, I am now walking around with bad customer taste in mouth. My family and I absolutely love Siena Pediatrics! After meeting Dr. Carrie 4 years ago for a prenatal appointment, we knew she would be the best pediatrician for our daughter. As a first time mom, I love how I never feel rushed at my appointment. Dr. Carrie takes the time to answer any questions we have. The entire medical staff is kind, patient and very professional. I also like how they have two separate areas for "sick" and "well" patients. I have always been able to get a same day appointment when my daughter was sick and received follow-up calls to see how my daughter was doing. We love our Dr's here my son been going to Siena Peds since he was born but the wait is really long they seem to be always under staff. Also you can never get same day sick appointments. One time I called coz my son was coughing bad and wanted to see if we can see any Dr, this was a Tuesday, girl on the phone said we're fully booked and no walk ins for sick visit Mybe call be Monday. Like what???? I tried calling the nurse coz my son had some allergic reaction from Tylenol one time and no one bothered returning my calls. We recently switched to Siena Pediatrics and are soo happy we did! Getting shots can always be scary for little ones but Dr. Matt and Nurse Trinity made my twins feel welcome and comfortable. We absolutely love the underwater theme of the office. Reminded us of the aquarium at Mandalay Bay. Matt and Trinity did a great job of including the twins in what would take place in their visit and explaining the importance of lifestyle habits, such as eating more of our green veggies and fruits. **Typical "I'd give 0 zero stars if I could rant* Coming to finally give a review once I knew my situation with this abysmal office was done. DO NOT GO HERE! I really do not know how this office has 4 star rating, it should be a 2 Their admin staff needs to be replaced with better trained, competent, empathetic people. I was told my insurance was accepted (upon speaking with said person she immediately got an attitude when taking all of my info), and my daughter was seen, got vaccines done. I never got a bill or phone call about anything after that visit. I called 3 MONTHS LATER! to schedule a new checkup, and again wasn't told anything was wrong. I get a call the day of of the appt saying I owed $1600! I repeatedly told the collections woman that this wasn't my fault and that I'm not paying it, their office dropped the ball. After a week of back and forth, and constantly asking for a statement (which never came btw), I told them they aren't getting a dime. I was emailed 2 months later about the fees (it was end of the year catch up on past due accts), and I emailed back saying I'm not paying. Never got a reply or phone call. I found a better office nearby that was so amazing, and even confided with us that this office had (in just one week) received about 10 of Sienas patients for similar issues. Love this place. Both a coworker and a family member recommended them. When I was giving birth and said who my pediatrician was - both the L&D nurse and the fetal cardiologist said they also take their kids there. When other doctors and nurses trust their kids with this pediatrician - you know you're in good hands. Dr. Carrie is the most well-known and therefore also the doctor that books up really fast. We saw her in the beginning and then started seeing Dr. Chuck due to scheduling. Both are amazing. Dr. Chuck is great with our daughter and equally as important, great with me (the first time mom with a ton of never ending questions). They have an after hours line with nurses that will call you no matter what time it is. Every nurse I have encountered has been extremely knowledgeable. They have a sick side and a well side which is nice so the sick kids aren't right next to other kids in the waiting room. read more

Like many of the other reviews, this office seems to have taken a nose dive in the last few months. I can confirm that they rarely answer their phones and it is almost impossible to get a same day sick appointment now. My son had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic that was prescribed by the urgent care over the weekend. We were given a different antibiotic by the urgent care that he seemed to be tolerating ok, but was still covered in hives a day later. I called Siena Ped's Monday morning to get an appointment with his pediatrician to establish this new issue and was given major push back on getting him seen. The receptionist on the phone said her lead told her to not schedule my son and to have us follow up again with the urgent care. She only offered to schedule my son for the following day, against her lead's advice, because I kept pushing to get him seen. In what world does an urgent care offer continuous follow up care? They tell you to follow up with YOUR doctor. Before I was able to schedule the appointment the line disconnected and I was unable to make an appointment with his doctor. I would like to give Siena Ped's the benefit of the doubt, that they didn't purposely end the call before scheduling, but it certainly doesn't make them look good. Beware of difficult staff who make it almost impossible to get the care your children need. Be prepared to advocate greatly for their needs. read more

The rarely answer the phone, the front desk doesn't confirm insurance details ahead of time are correct, the billing department is rude and the Office Manager doesn't know how to return phone calls after leaving 2 messages. Been coming here since we moved 10 years ago. Came because someone referred us to a specific doctor who is no longer there. Started with them at their old office down the road. It was a tad small and they outgrew it and moved here. I love the atmosphere of the place. This is really a pediatric office and great for kids who are scared. After Covid, customer service is not the best. My daughter has been sick 3x this year called in sick and called first in the morning to get appointment but apparently one lady who finally answered said they don't do some day appointments anymore. So I brought her to urgent care instead and made an appointment for the next day and had to call out of work to bring her to that second appointment. She got sick again the last couple weeks ago and this time can't get through to any of the lines, not even billing. Luckily, my husband called out and he called them and I called them while at work. Luckily this time I was able to get in the afternoon. When you are there you sometimes see a front staff or maybe two sometimes. I feel that there is just way too much people and way too much positions in the office but no one knows what to do. I had other assistant I. That office that were more friendly and interactive but now they just look like robots working. I had to give a 3 only because the office is really nice and clean. They really do care about my kids, which is such a change from where we used to go for 3 years. The front desk, nurses, drs are just the best. I switched from an overbooked, inattentive pediatrician told to this dream office full of people who never seem to be running late, yet always give you all the time and care you need for your child. This is especially important when you're freaking out over your sick child and don't want to feel like they don't have time for every question you have. One time my 2 y/o son didn't like one of the doctors and seemed scared of him (even though he was super nice, he was large and hairy), so they brought in another doctor within 3-4 minutes tops to evaluate him. I never get a call back. My neighbor sees the same pediatrician and can get a call back right away. Worried my youngest has a hernia and called and left two messages. Again, no call back.
