My son has been going to Anthem Hills Pediatrics since he was born. My son has asthma and allergies. He has been hospitalized once and has been in and out of the ER since he was born due to his asthma allergies. My son is now in grade school and has to have a note from his doctor to use his asthma pump as needed independently. OCT 2023 my son and I went to Anthem Hills Pediatrics (Gibson's location) to get the note signed. At the appt, we were seen by DR. MIHIC who did an overall check-up, ordered blood for an allergy test, prescribed 3 additional medications as well, and signed the school note! At the appt, I informed DR MIHIC that my son is at his dad's house 2-3 times a week and that they have a dog. I asked her if my son would become immune to the dog or if things would worsen. Immediately I felt like I was put on trial by her questioning me why dad had a dog and if he was aware of his son's medical conditions. After explaining to her I cannot control what goes on at Dad's house she continued to pry with additional questions which all led back to my first answer "I wish but I cannot control what goes on at Dad's house". She then told me she could WRITE ME A LETTER explaining that dogs can make someone with allergies and asthma worse. However, I didn't take her up on her offer at that appt. Fast forward, after October's visit, we got the blood work which showed he was extremely allergic to dander and a multitude of other things. Dec 2023 I made an appt to see MIHIC to not only ask for a refill but to get the LETTER SHE SAID SHE WOULD WRITE BUT SHE REFUSED! Instead, she had an assistant give me a print that was a summary of the visit (which had several mistakes and misinformation). I NEEDED A LETTER FOR DOCUMENTATION PURPOSES NOT A VISIT REPORT. MICHI then told me that she would not write a letter but that she would write me a referral to get a skin test and PERHAPS HE WOULD WRITE a letter explaining the effects dogs can have on a child with asthma and dander. A couple of days later I called Anthem Hills and spoke to a supervisor named KRISTY who informed me that she had no idea why MIHIC would tell me that she would write me a letter because it was AGAINST COMPANY's POLICY!!!! She also said she would look into everything else and call me back after the holidays. After New Year's I didn't get a call back so I called KRISTY! She in so many words said why are you calling me I told you I was going to CALL YOU back! So I waited and she finally called back and told me that MIHIC never said she would write me a letter but she would correct some of the mistakes on the visit report and that I would be able to pick up the report in a few days. After that phone call, I emailed KRISTY at Kinge@anthemhillspediatrics.com for documentation and confirmation that my son's medical report would be corrected. Surprisingly, I never received a reply back, but due to email tracking, I'm CERTAIN my email was opened several times and possibly forwarded to another email address! After waiting days for a reply BACK I went ahead and picked up the report but I had to wait 15 minutes because those changes were PROBABLY NOT MADE! I also found additional misinformation about what medications my son was making that needed to be corrected. A day later I got a phone call from Michelle WITH Mihic and Kristy ON SPEAKER, I asked them to call me back in 15 min because I was in line at the post office and never GOT A CALL BACK! I ended up calling them back and they told me they were not going to be making any changes and again took sides with their doctors and nurses about the misinformation that was written on the visits reports. Michelle told me what medications were on the report or not on the report was based on what I told them at the time of the visit. I NEVER RECEIVED AN APOLOGY about any of the problems or issues! Regardless of what is true or not a professional establishment should apologize for any inconvenience it might have caused. Most importantly there's no excuse for not calling me back. People check your medical reports because they seem to be pencil-whipped and they will find any excuse to not make corrections. DR MIHIC, MICHELLE, AND KRISTY ALL LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND INTEGRITY. All of my conversations with them were unprofessional and nasty! Dr. Mihic at the Gibson location is great. Her and the nurses answer all of our questions. We are never left feeling confused or worried. The location on Coronado is 5 min from our home but it's always very loud and chaotic there. Dr. Barlow is great there but we prefer the Gibson location if we can. read more

Horrible. We needed a referral - they say it's a certain process, it's not. I had to leave voicemail after voicemail, asked to file a complaint they then said they could send me to the woman's same voicemail - Chelsea because she's assistant manager. Which is pointless because she doesn't check them let alone call anyone back from them. Ask to speak to her manager & was told they're out for 2 wks. Oh ya - during this whole process the original pediatrician left, so we had to come back to pay for more well-visits and the doctor (her name Princess) didn't even ask about delays or concerns. Galleria location is very convenient. Very clean, private and welcoming staff. Dr Mihic and Dr Miller are both awesome. They are very transparent, take the time to get to know my children and family. I'm happy with Anthem, i can always get an appointment on my days off with the doctors we normally see. I will definitely continue my services with Anthem as long as I'm in NV. This review is long over due. I do not recommend them. I only gave them 2 stars because of Dr. Lamont. Their staff is not friendly, very rude and never answer the phones. I came to tell you who I recommend staying away from and why. My personal experience with anthem hills pediatrics. First off, I feel I get so much more time and so much has been discovered since seeing NPs rather than a Doctor. We used to be at Anthem hills Peds where they missed two of my children's heart murmurs, one of which was prescribed Vyvanse(controlled substance) for my daughters ADHD. she would be seen monthly for refills and often complained of heart palpitations. My kids were sent home from school sick and seen in an urgent care where their murmurs were discovered. When I made a follow up appt with Anthem peds, upon exam Dr. Barlow said, "they sound and look good, what can I help you with today?. I as the mother, had to tell the DOCTOR actually we need cardiology referrals because they have heart murmurs which is why we're here today. He listened to their heart again (this time took his time) and said.", You're right, they do! I'll place the referrals." I was so shocked at the lack of thoroughness. Especially since I was solely there for Cardiology referrals and my daughter seen him monthly with cardio complaints . It was as if he didn't even recognize us. A year or so later I delivered my son at St Rose Hospital. Shortly after I delivered ,Dr. Lamont was making rounds and clipped his tongue with a resident to assist her at my bedside. This was within 24 hours of my son being born so that I could breast feed him, which I'm so thankful for. When Dr. Lamont examined my son for circumcision at the hospital post delivery, she told me, "he has penile torsion and a buried penis so DO NOT let ANYONE touch him but a urologist. If anyone attempts to do this they would most likely take off the head of his penis in the process. It must be performed by a specialist and in an OR." When I followed up for his newborn check a few days later to established care Dr. Barlow was the only provider accepting new patients and that could get him in for his 3 day newborn check. He examined my son and told me to go ahead and schedule his circumcision at the desk on your way out. I said, " what? He doesn't need to see urology" he said no, they perform them there in the office, quick, easy and sterile. I told him that Dr. Lamont clipped his tongue in the hospital and that she told us we would need him to see a urologist for the circumcision due to his penis being buried and penile torsion. He examined my son again and said, "well she is the medical director, if she says he should see a urologist ; then ya, he will need to see a urologist to perform the surgery. Whatever she says goes." Again, I was astonished. what could have happened if I didn't advocate for my son. thankfully, Dr. Lamont made it very clear the importance of seeing a specialist while we were in the hospital. At this time we decided it was time to transfer care. We absolutely Loved Dr. Lamont, but I often felt rushEd and rarely could get in to see her with my work schedule. My daughter uses doc mihic so was only right to now bring my son to her. She is always friendly and never have to wait too long for her. We long the Gibson office because it is close to our house and a small office. read more

I like Taking my boys to see Dr. Mihic and Dr. Barlow. The Gibson location is a lot more convenient for myself and I'm glad to see they'll be opening one more day a week. read more

I gave this Pediatrics office a two stars because the operator/scheduling center and the nursing staff were friendly and empathetic towards my baby and myself as opposed to the front end and doctors. I've been a receptionist/ clerk before in my career and I always greeted everyone and showed them respect. I did not get that treatment whatsoever. The doctors showed no empathy towards my little one. I've been here twice and nothing, it was worse the second time we visited the office. Our previous pediatrician was phenomenal, interacted with our child, was very kind and patient with us when we had questions (unfortunately because we moved out of state we couldn't keep her as my child's doctor). It was the total opposite at this Pediatric office. The doctors were very dry, didn't even try to make my little girl smile or asked if we had any questions or concerns. What a disappointment being conveniently close to home. Needless to say, we're going to a different pediatric office in hopes that we find similar treatment to my child's original doctor. read more

I've been bringing my daughter to this practice since they were tiny, I've always had quality care. This is what sold me to this office. The doctors take their time with our visits unlike some places I've been to in the past, where the doctors are in and out, all my concerns have always been thoroughly addressed. I've always been accommodated for appointments with the times that I need regardless of how last minute i call to schedule. The offices are always clean!! Which is especially important these days. Bottom line, my teenage girls and I trust the doctors, high quality care, worth the average wait time hands down. I highly recommend them read more

Dr. Miller has been treating my 12 month old daughter since she's been born. However, I will never bring my daughter back there again.The last 2 visits, Dr. Miller has insulted my daughter's curly hair (she's biracial). Last week, Dr. Miller called her "fuzz head." Today, she rudely told me to "put some gel" in my daughter's hair. What kind of pediatrician repeatedly insults a 12 month old and tells her parents how to style her hair? I am angry and disgusted. Thankfully my daughter is too young to understand Dr. Miller's insults. Keep your kids away from this unprofessional practice, and especially Dr. Miller. read more

Dr. Miller no longer practices here! New doctor didn't even review chart prior to entering to see patient because Dr. had the wrong age, info, and assumed I was someone else. Never bothered to properly introduce herself, but did grab baby's cheeks and body scan with bare hands and no clean gloves. Never saw her wash her hands or use sanitizer either. Rude, condescending, and racist doctor. Apparently she only comes to this location every Friday. Avoid at all costs. Spoke to phone representative and they even recognized this particular doctor is known to be 'harsh'. Front desk wasn't the greatest either. read more

Love this group of pediatricians but this isn't my favorite office. We came here because my son was sick. There are only 2 doctors here which slows them down. If you have an appointment you'll still wait until the doctor sees you. We had a 330 appointment but didn't go back into a room until after 4 pm. If you go to the Eastern office there's much more doctors which doesn't yield a long wait time. This is conveniently located close to home which is why we come here for sick visits but for well checks i prefer to see a specific doc at the Eastern location near St Rose hospital. I don't mind the drive because you're in and out quickly over there. Overall this is still my favorite group of Pediatricians in Las Vegas and i highly recommend them. They take their time to hear your concerns and are very professional and patient with the little ones. read more

Anthem Hills Pediatrics has been my 2 year old's pediatricians since we moved to Las Vegas a little over a year ago. We first went to the location on St. Rose. It was a 20 minute drive and really crowded, but the pediatrician was awesome. I explained to her that the least time my son was vaccinated they gave him 5 shots and he got really sick. They had no problem with adjusting his vaccination schedule to only give him 2 vaccinations at a time. We then found out that there was a location less than 5 minutes away from us on Gibson. We've been to this location at least 3 times and it's practically empty every single time we've gone. The pediatrician there is no- nonsense, which I appreciate. My son never gets anxious when I tell him he has to go to the doctor, which as any parent knows, is a Godsend. I'd give it 5 stars except this location is only open on Mondays and Fridays. That hasn't been an issue for me yet, but I'm sure it will be in the future. Other than that, a great group for your little ones. read more
