He reviewed our son's records before the appointment, he didn't rush us, he answered all our questions, and he spoke directly to our son and made him feel comfortable. Dr. Levin has been the family pediatrician since my daughter was born 17 years ago. He is knowledgable with great bedside manner. More recently, we've been going to Henderson Pediatrics pretty regularly since our son was born about a year ago visiting both the "sick" side for a few complications and the "healthy" side for regular follow up visits and vaccinations. The doctor is thorough with his examinations taking all vitals and inquiring about our son's history. He has given us plenty of invaluable tips and recommendations. We never leave with a questioned unanswered or uneasy about dealing with situations. The only complaint we have is that we have never been seen for our appointment less than 20 minutes after the scheduled time. We've waited an hour and fifteen minutes before. This can be explained by having an unpredictable number of patients showing up at the "sick" side of the clinic which I'm sure throws off the timing. Some obvious solutions for this problem is to loosen up the schedule times or possibly to staff with another doctor, if able. We've had no problems with the front office as far as billing or scheduling. The MAs do a good job for the most part. One of the MAs can inject a vaccination without any reaction from my son whatsoever. One once took a blood draw that caused my son to let out screams that could be heard in Reno. For our last appointment last week, there was no wait in the waiting room and we went straight to the exam room from the car. The clinic was clean and I saw employees wiping down everything regularly. Dr. Levin is worth the wait and I do recommend him for your child's care as long as you've taken a patience pill before you leave home. read more

We have been going to Henderson Pediatrics for over 7 years now. We have seen all three physicians, but mainly see Dr. Levin. Not only is Dr. Levin brilliant, compassionate, reassuring, and rational, but he is always willing to listen to your concerns. Drs. Lee and Kulic are also great! The office staff is always warm and welcoming. They are really great with all the kiddos- from newborns to teenagers. There is hardly ever a wait, even for sick visits- which they can often squeeze into the same day or following day! We really love this office and if we moved across town, we would make the drive. read more

After going to St.Rose Pediatricians for a couple months. We would always be waiting in a room full of 30 sick kids, never seeing the same Pediatrician. One time our daughter had RSV and they couldn't see us for 2 days! We knew we needed to switch. I was recommend to Dr.Levin by a couple of my customers at my business. Boy oh boy is he awesome. He will sit with us for 30-45 minutes sometimes talking and figuring out exactly what is wrong. When our kids our sick we get in that day, usually in an hour or two. Dr. Levin is both my daughters' pediatrician, and he is really fantastic. Upon moving here four years ago, we visited several pediatricians in town that I wasn't very impressed with. My oldest daughter has had open heart surgery and has doctors at Stanford - her Stanford based physicians are leaders in their respective fields, brilliant and truly amazing. Needless to say, I had a very difficult time finding high caliber doctors here at all -- let alone that I trusted with my daughter's complicated health issues. Dr. Levin has been excellent in my opinion, and I also find his support staff warm and friendly. I read some negative reviews on here about Henderson Pediatrics -- I'm thinking those may be in reference to another doctor out of this office. One time when Dr. Levin was on vacation, we did see another physician who was a female (I don't remember her name). She is a bit rough around the edges, but she's not who we typically see. I'd give Dr. Levin 5 stars and I'd definitely recommend him!!! However, I wouldn't give that high of rating to the other female doctor based on our brief encounter with her. I can't recommend Henderson Pediatrics enough! Dr. Levin is our pediatrician and he's kind, helpful and very personable. He knows all 3 of my kids and is always excited to see them. He never questions my concerns and is always willing to listen and help. The staff is just as amazing. They're all so kind and welcoming. We've seen the other 2 doctors and they're great as well. One thing I love is that they can get you an appointment quick, usually the same day. I called this morning to get my son checked out because he's sick, I was in their office within an hour and a half..... on a Saturday! Most pediatricians don't do that. We are planning to move across town in the next couple months and I will not switch to a new pediatrician, Dr. Levin and Henderson Pediatrics is worth the drive! read more

Bad bedside manners. My kids have been given useless antibiotics three times in a row and that messed up their immune system a lot. The lady doctor (not even sure what her name is) hurt my baby girl while trying to clean her ears. My kids hate coming here even though we only came couple of times. The only pleasant thing was the toy they were getting at the end. Ladies at the front desk are getting the one extra star - they were always nice and courteous and made appointments easy. However, we decided to go for a pediatrician who cares, explains procedures, and does them with care. read more

I highly recommend this place for healthcare, been going for almost 7 years now. We have been seeing Dr. Levin for our 3 kids and we love his very thorough checks. We also love the other doctors, Dr. Kulic and Dr. Lee, who my kids see when they are sick and Dr. Levin is not around. They all take time to ask questions making sure of the correct diagnosis whenever my kids are sick. The nurses and admins are awesome, they are very warm, efficient and welcoming to patients. They are ALWAYS so friendly, caring, genuine, informative, and available!!! I've NEVER had to wait more than ONE DAY to have my daughter scene and I'd say 95% of the time, they can see her the same day! They take the time to create a bond with my entire family and my daughter LOVES the fun "prize board" they have for the end of each appointment! My 3 year old son has had a fever for the past three days. I was unable to see his regular pediatrician so I looked other places. The staff is friendly, but the doctor had to get a calculator out to convert measurements, I had to repeat myself 3-4 times about any price of information she asked, and yelled at my son when dr. Lee spoke to him. Didn't prescribe him any antibiotics. Being a new patient, the first thing on her mind was selling her business. Communicating her hours of buisness and how her practice runs. To be honest, I don't care. In my beliefs she should first be worried about the children she is helping, her practice will grow after. The first impression was not a great one, unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

We LOVE this practice, especially Dr Kulic & her staff. We know all our nurses by name, we are treated like family, and we know our kids are in the best of hands. I particularly love that Dr Kulic keeps weekend hours and that the after-hours nurse hotline is actual staff of the practice (not a call center). Most of all, I sincerely appreciate that they keep on schedule; we are seen on time, if not earlier...never having to sit with sick kids in the waiting room for hours on end (as I have personally experienced at other practices). We found Dr. Levin as a referral from my OB before baby was born and he's been a great primary doctor for over 6 years. His practice is built to really get to know the family, be a long term and involved doctor. I saw a couple complaints that he didn't take out-of-town or one-time visits and that makes total sense because that's not what this clinic runs like (a walk-in clinic or such is more for that). But what they do is really know your child, learn and remember their whole life of health. Plus they know you as the parents. Once you're an established patient, I've always been able to call and get a same-day sick appointment. They set aside times just knowing parents may need sudden help that day. They are good to refer her to a specialist when needed, too, but you know they've tested what they can before they do that. They take a whole family, long term health relationship approach. We were happy with Dr Faro but didn't care for a few of the staff members and decided to go somewhere friendlier with more appointment availability. We have been going to Dr. Levin's office for the past four years. My husband and I met Dr. Levin before we had our first baby to get to know him. We are so glad we chose him as our pediatrician. My son is four and my daughter is one now. We love Dr. Levin. He is very knowledgable, patient, calm, caring and has excellent bedside manner. He does not rush and takes the time to answer our questions and concerns. He still also works on research projects when he doesn't see patients. We always have great conversations when we see him. His office staff, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Wendy, Ms. Amy, Ms. Ana, etc...are very courteous and friendly people. Dr. Levin and his staff make us feel like we are family. The wait sometimes is a little bit long because he is very busy but I don't mind at all. We are usually taken in within 15 minutes of the appointment and see him within an hour max. I love the fact that his office also opens on Saturday & Sunday. We have also seen Dr. Kulic when Dr. Levin is not there. She is also good and friendly. They told me they had open appointments during the week, but once they found out we would not be returning patients, I was told that we could not make an appointment. I find it disgusting that a "doctors" office with several pediatricians and openings would turn away a 5 day old healthy baby who needs a wellness visit. Review for my daughters appointment from about a month ago. The front desk probably had a bad day before we came in because she gave me some major attitude. I checked my daughter in for her first visit with Dr. Levin (as she was sick with a really bad cold) and I asked for the initial paper work I needed to fill out. She told me that my daughter was not a first time patient and is here for a follow-up. I, being her mother, would know if I had brought my daughter in before and I explained that to her. What would she be following up on? This is my first time bringing her in. She kept insisting that my child was seen there... Left me hanging at the counter and said she'd go get my daughters chart. I thought to myself, Oh god this is gonna take a minute BECAUSE THERE IS NO CHART. So 10 minutes pass and we're waiting...i'm asking someone else if I could fill out the paperwork. But no. She finally comes back, doesn't apologize and just hands me the paperwork and tells me the Co pay amount. Such a turn off to the clinic. Especially as a first time patient. Dr. Levin however was quite pleasant and very helpful. If and when we go back I hope we don't have to deal with Ms. Crabby Pants. read more

I've been taking my kids here for years and never really happy with them. Misdiagnosis of a rash on my son, was told he was fine and a few days later he was in the hospital for 3 days. Now this summer I was told the doctors are only working half days. Really??? Right before school when kids need physicals and shots and the doctors can't find the time to even come into the office? Very quick service. From start to finish we were there with two kids for exams and shots and out in about an hour. There is a separate entrance for sick and routine visits. My son is 4 and my daughter is 7 months old. After waiting at other doctors office for a simple well check for more than and hour we decided to look around. We came across Henderson ped. and so glad we found them! Wait time is a big thing for me and I'm sure it is for everyone. Anyone with children knows waiting in a waiting room is unbearable and then add on when you child/children that are are sick! I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and that goes for both the waiting room and the room to see the doctor. On top on the wait time they have always been able to get me in same day I call. The Staff is nice and Doctor Kulic is beyond wonderful. She's not on robot mode like most doctors and listens to your concerns. Very happy to find this hidden gem! read more

We had 3 children under Dr. Lee's care for about 10 years and because of a past due bill of about $100 dollars the office sent it to collections and refused to see any of our children.
