However, the staff just not friendly or helpful... god forbid you have to call for more information, or something you need over the phone because they are so rude... If you ask them to email information you need, they say they have no email and get mad at you for asking for such a thing, like what year is it? Many of the doctors around the area offer to do this, have apps and even chat systems... I recently had to ask to get information on a referral given to me and I misplaced it, the visits are around 3 months apart... I asked for the doctors phone number or location or if they could email me a copy, and they gave me the name and told me to google it... I google the name and it shows 3 doctors with the same name, great... quite shocking to be so unhelpful and uncaring... I have been wanting to switch doctors for 2 years but not because of the doctors, just the staff... I have been tossed like a hot potato from doctor to doctor, because they keep leaving in the past 2-3 years. So I'm finally done and now looking for a new doctor too. If doctors also keep leaving there's a reason...

We saw very good reviews on Google Maps and were optimistic about seeing Dr. LaBuz, but he might…read morehave too many patients in his DPC practice or he might have something distracting his attention, because it was truly difficult to get him to give more than a few minutes of attention to us, even during scheduled appointments. I think he was significantly late to every appointment we ever had with him (like more than 20 minutes late to a 15-min appointment) and in many cases we had to contact the front desk to get him to respond, and they said he had forgotten or not marked the appointment on his calendar. He said that DPC is supposed to be good for complex medical situations, but in practice, he would only listen to us briefly before concluding what test we should get and then talking about that test a lot. He was not good at listening to us and it felt so difficult to get even a few sentences out around him. One time I even booked two appointments (one for me one for my husband) to TRY to have enough time for him to listen to something complicated that I felt was threatening my heart health, and still got shut down and not listened to and just told to rebook in a few weeks for more so-called "care." He was also not the best about refills, referrals, etc. often had to follow up a lot. I felt the doctor was failing to get an understanding of our health histories and was instead just listening barely long enough to suggest a test and then that's all he wanted to talk about. for example: my husband: I've been having fatigue dr.: (no questions about when it started or what it was like) you should get a sleep study! my husband: well, i'm not sure (not thinking sleep apnea was likely explanation, given the other details about the fatigue history) dr.: you can do a sleep study at home these days! Additionally, the nurse/phlebotomist seemed very inexperienced and severely injured me while doing the blood draw. She also mishandled the blood sample, so one of the tests we paid for was voided and had no result, because it had been exposed to too much light. I had constant low-grade pain in my arm for months after her blood draw, because she must have damaged my muscle or nerve with the needle and wouldn't take it out when I said it was more painful than any blood draw I'd ever had (she just said "you're overthinking it, just breathe."). I wish I had ripped the needle out, because I've had dozens of blood draws and I know what they normally feel like, even when they're a little painful, and this was not normal. I was hoping for better but this DPC did not turn out to be what we needed. We found someone better through recommendations on r/vegaslocals.

Door was open and staff was busy already inside. I easily completed the necessary paperwork and was whisked inside right at the time of my appointment. Friendly PA and attentive doctor. I felt cared for and heard. I wasn't rushed nor did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone by asking my questions. I may have thought this visit was a temporary fix, but I would gladly drive for this level of care and plan to stay. Great job!

My first interaction with Health4Life was with the Office Administrator, Kathryn . She instantly made us feel at ease and comfortable with our decision to switch everything over to this doctor. She was able to answer all of our questions with confidence and explained how their services are offered. She really sold us and was able to get me to sign up for the concierge service and it was the best decision I've made regarding my health. After speaking with Kathryn , I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Alfreda at the Henderson office. Stepping into their office isn't like a normal doctors facility--both locations are beautifully designed with a level of class that you aren't expecting but you quickly feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Alfreda is the first doctor in my adult life that I can have an appointment with and feel completely normal. He speaks to you as a human being, as a close friend or family member and you can tell that he cares about you. He's not a typical Doctor--he explains everything clearly and in everyday terms. He takes time to answer your questions and is able to offer a variety of solutions for the medical issue you're dealing with. From my first appointment until now, two years later, he hasn't changed one bit and he's continued to be the most amazing Doctor I've ever had. He truly cares and you'll be able to see this from the first time meeting with him. His staff--Ashley, Tiffany, Michelle and the others have been just as amazing as Dr. Alfreda and Kathryn. I've had some issues with traveling for work and needing their help and they've always come through to assist me. The last few weeks I've been very sick and Ashley and Michelle have made sure that I've had the things I need and have made sure that I'm okay. Katherine has clearly taken her time to make the hiring decisions for this office and it's evident. There has been two or three times that we've had a breakdown in communication but it's always been quickly resolved. I can't say enough about Health4Life, Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn and their entire team. I have no plans to leave his office because of the excellent care and service I get on each and every visit. She has been remarkable in helping us find the resources we need and finding answers to our medical needs. She is mostly at the Jones office however we have seen her in both offices. She always spends time with us and we never feel rushed. She stays on top of current medical options so we also feel she is constantly looking for answers for her patients. If you need a medical office I would sure ask for her!
