For the last 2 or so years, Dr. Alfreda and his team has been my primary care doctor. Without a doubt, they've stepped up to the plate and they've been able to change the way I've handled my health and my health issues. My first interaction with Health4Life was with the Office Administrator, Kathryn . She instantly made us feel at ease and comfortable with our decision to switch everything over to this doctor. She was able to answer all of our questions with confidence and explained how their services are offered. She really sold us and was able to get me to sign up for the concierge service and it was the best decision I've made regarding my health. After speaking with Kathryn , I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Alfreda at the Henderson office. Stepping into their office isn't like a normal doctors facility--both locations are beautifully designed with a level of class that you aren't expecting but you quickly feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Alfreda is the first doctor in my adult life that I can have an appointment with and feel completely normal. He speaks to you as a human being, as a close friend or family member and you can tell that he cares about you. He's not a typical Doctor--he explains everything clearly and in everyday terms. He takes time to answer your questions and is able to offer a variety of solutions for the medical issue you're dealing with. From my first appointment until now, two years later, he hasn't changed one bit and he's continued to be the most amazing Doctor I've ever had. He truly cares and you'll be able to see this from the first time meeting with him. His staff--Ashley, Tiffany, Michelle and the others have been just as amazing as Dr. Alfreda and Kathryn. I've had some issues with traveling for work and needing their help and they've always come through to assist me. The last few weeks I've been very sick and Ashley and Michelle have made sure that I've had the things I need and have made sure that I'm okay. Katherine has clearly taken her time to make the hiring decisions for this office and it's evident. There has been two or three times that we've had a breakdown in communication but it's always been quickly resolved. I can't say enough about Health4Life, Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn and their entire team. I have no plans to leave his office because of the excellent care and service I get on each and every visit. Even when I haven't been the best patient or I've had to rush things because of schedule changes or things happen outside of my control with my work travel, they've not treated me any different. Trust me, if you're looking for a new healthcare provider, please give Katherine the opportunity to talk to you about the ways they can assist you. My roomate and I were patients of Dr. Alfreda for about 8 years when he was with Internal Medicine Specialists. Sadly, we had to say goodbye when he moved to this new practice that our insurance doesn't cover. He was by far the most wonderful doctor we have ever known. He's not in and out of the office in under a minute. He takes time to look at your chart, ask and answer questions and tell you strait to your face to lose weight, stop smoking, cut down on the sugar, etc. My daughter, who HATES going to the doctor, always enjoyed visiting with Dr. Alfreda. He eased her fears and made her laugh. He spoke to her, not at her. Making an appointment with him will be the best decision you ever make. read more

The staff and service are incredible and my doctor is the BEST. I had Dr. Alfreda for approximately 10 years as my PCP and when he became concierge Dr I stayed with him. Dr. Alfreda listens my concerns and I always feel safe under his care. he is a great doctor and very knowledgeable. Once I was hospitalized for severe abdominal pain and without testing, I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer. Dr. Alfreda ordered H-pylori testing ( which was negative) and sent me to GI SPECIALIST. I had upper GI endoscopy and a tissue biopsy revealed celiac sprue . I am very hard-headed person who will never go to the hospital unless Iam unconscious. Numerous times I had very bad respiratory infection which interfered my breathing and I still refused to go ER AND AGAIN DR ALFREDA was my savior . Had my first visit today with Dr. Alfreda at Health4Life. I'm sixty two and have seen many doctors in my life. Dr. Alfreda is the best. He performed a thorough physical exam and then spent 45 minutes with me going over labs. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything in terms that i could understand. I was in the exam room within 10 minutes of arriving at the office. The office staff is outstanding. Polite and respectful of my time. I felt like everyone was glad to see and help me today. As a new patient I attempted to make an appt to see the doctor three days in a row. Each time I called, I was told the office manager handles the scheduling for all new patients (ok???) and would call me back within 24 hours. That didn't happen. Second day I called and was told that the office manager was in a meeting and they would email her a reminder to call today. Again, no call. Third day, I called and Ashley stated the office manager was on a conference call and she's the only one who can make a new patient appt. Outrageous! I told her I would find another doctor. He may be good doctor, but his staff is incompetent and is failing his business. He should be made aware how his staff is not handling their jobs because this reflects negatively on his practice. read more

I should begin by saying that I have never been a fan of going to the doctor's office. Ever. Most of the time I see a medical professional it's because part of my body is either broken, bleeding, or not functioning to factory specs. So the idea of going to a Doc when I'm feeling OK but want to feel better was foreign to me. I was introduced to the Health4Life practice while recovering from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn, and the entire Health 4Life team have been amazing. They have helped to accelerate my recovery, and to improve my life. When concierge or VIP practices first started, I, as with most people, thought that it was very costly and for "rich people". The reality is that it's much more affordable than you think! The care and attention that you receive is far superior to that of a "normal" office. There's no waiting for weeks for an appointment...and no waiting to be seen when you get to your appointment. When you do see him, he makes you feel as if you're his only patient. He takes his time to talk with you and ask questions. There's no rushing you through like you're cattle, to get to the next patient. I also love that you can text any time with any questions or concerns you might have and someone from the staff will get back to you with what you need. There is also a plan where you can call Dr. Alfreda directly and if I had any health issues I would have probably chosen that option. But being able to reach out to the staff is HUGE and enough for me. I LOVE and highly recommend Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn and the entire staff! They are definitely worth checking out! read more

I cannot recommend this place enough. They literally transformed my life. I used to be sluggish and just dragged my way through life. Within a couple months after meeting with Dr. Alfreda, Kathryn, and the rest of the staff I felt in my prime again and regained my zest for life!! I have so much energy and feel like a million bucks now. Aside from that, you can't go wrong with how the entire staff treats you and operates their business. I'm never sitting in the waiting room for hours on end like at every other doctor's office. I am in and out! I have a really busy schedule so their efficiency is incredible and extremely appreciated. I have been feeling lack of energy and sleepless for a year now. I thought it was just because I'm getting older and part of changes. My neck mass was getting bigger and got an Ultrasound and it was benign. My thyroid lab work was also normal. After 5months , I went to see Dr. Thomas Alfreda and asked him if he can check what's wrong with me. Did some more testing and within a week I was diagnosed of an auto immune disease called "Hashimoto Thyroiditis." I just want to thank him for listening to my symptoms and following up with other lab works I needed. He save my life twice and I will continue to go with this doctor because his caring, intelligent and passionate of what he does. At his previous office the wait could be the better part of Kathy Lee and Hoda and a complete surprise makeover; because he treated everyone with the same great care and respect and sometimes the love he gave just took a little longer. So when he opened his concierge medical clinic, HEALTH4LIFE with the promise of no waiting, same or next day appointments, personal contact with him or his staff and the same quality of care, I was one of the first to sign on. All promises kept and expectations met. I highly recommend HEALTH4LIFE to anyone who wants the peace of mind that comes with knowing your doctor is only a phone call away...and did I mention no waiting? Dr. Alfreda and his staff are wonderful. As a new transplant to Vegas it was extremely difficult finding a primary care physician, let alone a good one. Dr Alfreda has a exceptional bedside manner and explains things thoroughly, compassionately, and with a great sense of humor.
