I had googled what average price would be for a repair of this type and the quote Sam gave me was several hundred dollars less than what I'd researched. Sam kept in touch via text as I requested. The workers showed up the next morning just like he said. They took photos of the damage which turned out to be an actual hole in my roof. Sam explained they'd have to get additional materials and asked permission to add $75.00 to his quote which I agreed. Everything was done well and I was relieved. But aside from the business Sam connected on a personal level and made me feel that I mattered. He seemed kindhearted and eager to do good work. I will call him in future for a replacement.

They got our project done SO quick and it's beautiful. We had our driveway extended, our side yard paved all the way back to our backyard (for RV parking) and had a new patio/area around the pool put in. About 1,450 square feet total. I reached out to 4 concrete places, and All About Concrete was far and away the best customer service. JJ was here each day they worked on our concrete, and he texted me updates along the way which was so nice! Not only did they exceed our expectations on price, timeliness, and quality, but they also tackled unforseen issues and went above and beyond. They carefully lifted our AC unit to replace the concrete under it to match the rest of our patio; they fixed huge drainage problems and put in/replaced drains along our whole side yard (issues caused by our pool company); they bought materials and worked to run our pool overflow line where it needed to go... I felt all these things were above what a normal concrete contractor would provide!

Bob and his crew of Robinson Construction remodeled our home for us while we were eight thousand…read moremiles away in Australia. His honesty and quality workmanship are outstanding. Our home was completely upgraded from the outside to the interior. He found and replaced some very inadequate work performed by another contractor in 2005. Bob would not work on anything until we looked at his house photo's and notes showing us the work he would complete. Upon completion of his work would send photos. We communicated via telephone but mostly via the Internet. Yes, he is Internet savvy also. This is a plus, he and his men clean up after themselves and if anything is considered a little hazardous, like a deck without the railings installed, it is clearly marked or blocked off. During and after the job everything is cleaned up each day. Here is a list of some of the work he completed for us: Reworked the roof where the garage connected to the house. Completely replaced three walls and windows where the previous contractor's workmanship was so bad rain leaked in underneath the windows rotting out the walls. One of the windows/wall was in front of the kitchen sinks, counter top and cabinets. This wall and window were replaced without damage to the counter top, sinks and dishwasher. Replaced headers and double paned sliders without damaging the house. Replaced part of the roof where rain water had rotted out part of the wall. Replaced an area which had extensive water damage. Corrected three main beams which were actually holding up part of the house. Replaced all the attic roof vents around the out side of the house which were previously installed minus the netting to keep out wasps, etc. Stuccoed areas of the exterior totally matching the color. Reworked all the vents and the access door to the crawl space under the house. Installed a brand new deck and railings across the back of the house! Dug out and installed a sump pump under part of the house. Replaced all the wiring for the pool and patio area. Replaced the 2nd heating and air conditioning units to the family and kitchen. Rebuilt an area and ceiling in the family room. Installed a header to the living room and family room leaded glass doors. The previous contractor in 2005 didn't install a header and the doors wouldn't open. Removed and reworked the heating and air conditioning furnace closet which was installed incorrectly by a previous contractor. Reworked all the heating and air conditioning vents installing new intake vents and insulating the whole system. Replaced and taped all the sheet rock joints and re-plastered the whole house. Replaced and reinforced two skylights. One skylight after the bathroom was completely remodeled without any damage to the new bathroom. Both bathrooms were remodeled. Rewired the whole house. Revamped the laundry room, floors, sink and counter top, electricity and gas connections, replacing all including the plumbing. Added new heating and air conditioning vents to that room and replaced the floor. Lowered the high, beamed ceilings in the living and dining rooms adding 6 inches of insulation in the ceiling between the beams then adding sheet rock and fake beams totally insulating those rooms. Reworked the through-ways between the rooms without doors. Replaced all base boards perfectly. Replaced the electrical, water and gas connections for the stoves, microwave and fridge without damaging anything which included removing and reinstalling cabinets and flooring. There is so much more. This was a major redo and we have a brand new custom home. We feel Robinson Construction saved our home. I highly recommend Robinson Construction. Bob is a super person, very professional and insists ALL his work is completed to perfection. I wish you could see this house. Bob is a master contractor who works totally to code. We feel very fortunate we had him complete our home remodel.

Bob charges by the hour, but his final billed invoice was cheaper than other deck repair quotes I had received. I will definitely use Robinson Construction Company for any future construction needs. First off, I have to say great service! Willis stands by his motto "Quality Service Guaranteed"…read more.. My "regular" maintenance guy couldn't make it to service my yard and I had really important guests coming over that weekend. I called around all the other landscape maintenance guys in the Auburn area, and they all pretty much laughed at me saying that nobody would service my yard in such short notice.. I was beginning to lose hope and made one final call to MV Maintenance and spoke with Willis(very professional BTW)... He told me he was backed up the whole day with clients and said to me that he'll see if he could squeeze me in later in the day.. So I waited anxiously thinking that he was just giving me the run-around like all the guys had done prior.. Time was definitely of the essence and I began to panic.. Sure enough, Willis and his crew pulls up and saved the day.. They began repairing the broken sprinkler that my neighbor had ran over the week before and cleaned up my yard, exceeding all of my expectations.. I am now considering letting my regular maintenance guy go and having Willis and his crew as my regulars.. These guys are very professional, courteous and get the job done.. Thank you guys, I really appreciate the service!!

It was easy to negotiate with them until the end. I find that their pricing was pretty competitive with the other construction businesses and the quality of their work exceeds our expectations in the concrete job, compared to our Neighbors who had the exact same things done in our community of newly built homes.

We all struggle to find reliable, competitive, knowledgeable, LICENSED contractors who return calls, show up when promised, and who do a thorough job. We have "tried" other contractors, but Ed Riddle is simply hands-down above his competitors. Most importantly, he was truly interested in providing us finished product and design that we wanted! He didn't ever make it about his agenda and was never pushy. Last year, we were introduced to Ed when we moved to the area and needed our 5 hilly acres masticated and cleared. He wasn't the most inexpensive, but he was competitive and you get what you pay for, as they say! His bid sat on our desk for a few weeks while we tried to get 3 bids. After meeting a few other companies, it was very clear that Ed Riddle was the right guy. He followed up, he was flexible, and he partnered very well with us. Most importantly, he was truly interested in providing us finished product and design that we wanted! He didn't ever make it about his agenda and was never pushy. This year, we decided to build a large garden area and really needed the help of a knowledgeable contractor who we could trust. Again, we asked 3 companies to bid. Not only was Ed the most professional but he was also the most competitively priced. We iterated on the design for 2 months and finally landed on something we all liked. Ed and his crew began work and were here as scheduled until the job was completed. We made changes along the way and it wasn't a painful process and he kept the price the same. Now we have a beautiful fenced in garden area, a chicken run, and we are so excited to make our dream a reality this spring! One thing my husband liked about his construction is that he put a creature skirt all around the fence and the coop to make sure that rodents and the like won't steal our goodies that we grow! He even listened to me, the wife, about the things I wanted! Ed installed several railroad ties to create the steps down the hill to the garden. I'm short and he made sure that the steps were comfortable for me. He is SO GREAT! If you are in the market for a contractor for jobs both large and small, you can't do any better than Ed and his crew at R&G Construction. Do yourself a favor and look no further!!

I got them donuts one morning and then ice cold beers on their last day as it was super hot while they worked. My issue was when I discovered weeks later that 1) my water bill was astronomical and 2) upon initial inspection I found a gusher on the side where the French drain was repaired. I called him back out to fix it and later discovered after he left that he probably initially caused the gusher during the repair process which I am guessing turned into a much bigger job than he originally anticipated. He suggested that the whole side yard get re-done and we agreed to a later date as I planned to hire him again because I was satisfied with the first job. Curious after he left, my bf and I went and dug up the side drip system and surprisingly found some janky fix it job with compression fittings, T and elbow adaptors, and barbed drip couplings that were not there prior. In fact I paid a little extra on the original job knowing that the French drain was a pain to fix. I contacted Richar and told him of my discovery and he did not respond to my text but it was marked a read. In fact he arrived and brought out a bag of barbed drip couplings right away which I later put together that he already knew what the job needed before even seeing it because he caused it. Richar: if you would like to make this right with me text me and I would be willing to hear you out and consider taking this review down pending outcome.

We had another roofing company also give us a bid but the detail was no where near as detailed as Mike's bid. In addition, Mike invited us to his office to go over the contract, view the actual product samples and discuss the process. We felt very educated after meeting with him. Our decision which company to use was easy after finding out that a close friend as well as a neighbor both had Auburn Roofing reroof their homes and were very happy. Had a new roof, new gutters and insulation blown in the last week of February. The crew were fast, professional, cleaned up after each phase (we had the old roof shingles torn off) and respectful of our property. When the Placer County Inspector came out he told us that we are working with a very reputable, good contractor and that they do things right! We love our new roof and gutters! They make the seamless gutters right on site. We also had them blow in insulation in our attic which hardly had any (they did this from the roof and didn't even need to come inside the house). We instantly felt more comfortable in our home after adding the insulation and noticed the heater hardly working during this recent cold spell. Our wood stove seams more efficient and heats up the entire house too. Can't wait to see the savings and comfort we enjoy this summer when things heat up too.
