By 0800, the gear was unloaded and the team was in full-on work mode. I do a lot of DIY jobs with crews. After a half hour, a huge worry burden was lifted off my shoulders. This has never happened to me before. I had a very large brick wall repair job. Luis and his team were a well-oiled machine. Each knew their job (all experts), and the work hummed along--busy, busy, busy. Literally no screwing around or fun time. I was unconditionally amazed and thankful. The job was completed earlier than expected, and not only were no shortcuts taken, they did more than we agreed upon. All debris was picked up and put in the trash. The area was washed down. I reminded him I did not agree to do the power washing (I should have confirmed earlier), so he said he has to reschedule. After that, silence. 7/24/26 - I finally asked if he is still planning on doing the work and he said he can do it on 8/1/26. Well, today is 8/1 and I never heard back from him. Unfortunately, he has beeen unreliable in my experience.
