I work so much, I really just wanted to get a few pots for my pants at home, some dirt, and move on. This shopping trip was so quick, I easily found some nice indoor pots for my monstera plants at a really good price! I usually have a grand ol time whether I'm looking at flooring, appliances, electrical... lamps, lighting. There are so sorts of things to find here to improve your home! ... but every once in a while.... In the garden area, they have quite a few check out stands. Some are self check out and when I approached, there was an employee that insisted on helping, not knowing I was trying to be left alone. I told her I was going to do self check out. As she was watching me, she jumped in and told me that I didn't scan one of the 4 pots that was in my cart. I told her if she had looked at the screen, it would show I had scanned it already. I stood aside and asked her if she wanted to count the items in my cart and count the items in the screen. She said no and went on that she thought I missed it and customers do sometimes make mistakes... I replied with, "so do employees, like right now..." I think this employee was irritated I did not want her help. I felt pretty uncomfortable. I was already not in a good mood and this person was crowding and hovering over me. Just ask around awkward and very negative. Other than that particular experience, I enjoy the garden section the most. All the beautiful colors, the seasonal plants are gorgeous... the help I have received with deciding on what misters to get. Which refrigerator, which washer and dryer. Grill and black stone accessories... I really appreciate the help and advice I have received and am now looking at cabinets! See you guys soon!!

I have always liked C&K brand paint, and I knew choosing colors would take a while. When I asked to use the restroom, I was told, "Sorry, no public bathroom." The last time I was there, they had a key. Now their policy is no customers can use it. I am 68, freshly showered, and a grandmother just looking to paint her three buildings on her property. I am not a homeless person off the street looking to wash up in the sink, and I am not a teenager with a can of spray paint looking to tag the bathroom. I'm clean, wet hair still from my morning shower. I simply needed the restroom before I shopped and making decisions before spending my money. My response was, "That's okay. I'll go to Home Depot and have my paint mixed." Refusing the restroom felt rude. Contractors and other customers who may need it are turned away the same way? As it turned out, PPG was right next door as I was leaving the parking lot. I stopped in, used the bathroom, chose a color and had ten gallons mixed, they put me in their system because I know 10 gallons is not enough for the house and two sheds. They printed out the sheet that indicated the warranty and gave them all the information he needed to give to us to follow up to get reimbursed for the part which was $100. Be careful! If they damage your vehicle, A&A does not take responsibility and blames the damage on…read moreyou even when they drop almost 2 tons of rock on your vehicle. Bottom line, A & A loaded the bed of my truck in correctly. The forklift driver dropped it on the tailgate after the driver placed a large rock underneath (because the pallet was stuck on the forks). This caused the tailgate to bend, be bowed, and become unserviceable. After notifying the company, I had to make several trips to Newcastle and Rocklin and they related that 3,500 pounds dropped on a tailgate is not enough to damage a tailgate and therefore they would not fix the tailgate. They stated, "there is a difference of opinion" and made me feel as if I was a liar who was scamming them. Additionally, this decision was reached only after several hours of my time involving travel, time on phone, and three weeks after being notified.
