After giving my mother a $251 dollar quote for a new battery, installed (I have the image of the quote), the final invoice was $559, citing that they did diagnostics to find out why the NINE YEAR OLD battery failed. It takes ten seconds with a volt meter to know if an alternator is charging. In any case, from quote to pick up, her price doubled. This is straight nonsense and robbery of the elderly. A qualified tech can test the charging system and replace a battery in less time than it takes him to walk over to the parts counter and get the battery from them. Happy to take this down if my mother (did I mention she is 81? ) gets half her money back and is only charged what she was quoted. Make it right, Arundel Ford, as this will not be my last review on social media.
