This place needs a review on here, because anything I can do to let people know about it is too…read morelittle. My Hyundai broke down on the way home (Boston) from Maine, right in front of the tolls in Hampton on 95 in the middle of a Saturday night. The clutch wouldn't engage, and therefore I could not get the car into gear. I had it towed to Hampton Ford/Hyundai, dropped off the key, and waited until Monday morning. When they called, they said they needed to replace the clutch disk and bearings, for $1300+, as well as some brake work for $500-$600, and some service stuff we'd already had done for another few hundred. I found Booker's through an internet search and they said they'd get back to me. Before they could, I called both places and asked them to email an estimate. From the big car dealership, I got basically a text email with no details. From Bookers, I got a pdf of an official estimate, which totaled about $1250 for all of it, brakes and clutch. We asked them to tow the car from the dealership, which they did for basically nothing. It took about as long as it would have at the dealership. When we went to pick it up, we got a little lost and arrived a little after 5 (we had called ahead). They were polite and waited for us. We talked to the man behind the counter, who was friendly and helpful. The whole experience there was pleasant and quick, which was just what we needed. Booker's helped turn what started as a terrible situation into a much less terrible situation. It's never pleasant to have to get work done in your car, especially in an area you don't know, but having someone treat you well and not take advantage of you when you are obviously in a bad situation is a breath of fresh air, especially in this age of mechanics. If you live in the area, or if you ever find yourself broken down anywhere near Hampton, NH, go to Booker's. They deserve it!

The salesman Ben was a pleasure to work with. No high pressure bull crap, just quick answers to all my initial questions with no foxy pauses to consult with the manager or finance team. I felt like I was working with a neighbor and that he was on my side. I even decided to consider a second vehicle mid-negotiations and Ben was great about it and listened carefully to my concerns that I was worried about a 2-wheel drive car in New England winters. We landed on the Sonata and I took it for a test drive. My initial impressions of the car were very high. But 4 days and 400 miles later I am in love with the car. I have been fortunate enough to own many expensive vehicles in my lifetime including the truck I also presently own which is a high luxury vehicle costing over 3 times the price of my Sonata. I can say so far that at any price the Sonata is one of the most comfortable and best performing vehicles I have owned. It is very futuristic. The interior especially feels like a gaming cockpit and the seats are as comfortable as any expensive gaming chair. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I will update this review as the years go by to further expand on my experience but so far I could not be happier with my 2025 Hyundai Sonata and the entire team at McFarland Hyundai

I took my keys and left. I returned to ask for a print out of the estimate....they refused, and cursed me out. Had to get the local.police to get the diagnostic that I paid for. In the end, they claimed I needed a water pump, idle pulley, belts and an alternator. Then they tried to set me up for additional 'possible' work....timing chain...... these are scammers. If you are a woman or senior they will try to take advantage, assuming you are an easy mark. They picked the wrong gal this time. I got my car repaired..elsewhere...did not need water pump, did not need timing chain...just pulleys, belt and alternator. These guys are aweful....rude, no integrity, shitty attitude....and will steal you blind. Worst experience Stay away from this place. They don't want return customers, they want to .....one and done.....shameful. wish I could give 0 stars
