Yes, they are extremely busy but again that only goes to show the quality of service they provide. I am most appreciative of Danny's honesty. Just got off the phone with Danny. So disappointed in how I was just treated that I created an account and am posting my first review because I was treated so poorly. Walked into his shop 4 days ago requesting service. I was told they didn't have the part but would order it. No problem. So they took my name and number and told me I would be notified when the part arrived so I can bring in the car. Never heard back. Called today and Danny answered. He told me the part came in days ago. I told him that no one called me. He then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't call people, he's too busy for that. I then asked why someone took my information if that was the case. He was irritated at my question and told me again that he has far too many customers and doesn't have the time to be calling any of them back for part arrivals. If I would have been told this up front there wouldn't be an issue. But I was told I would be contacted and when I wasn't, he was irritated WITH ME. If you can't provide a service as basic as phone call, then you have no business with me. Good day. read more

Earlier today, I brought my car to Danny to diagnose my "check engine" light as well as a minor brake problem. My sienna battery has corroded( real bad) and all the other guys were giving me estimates that it will be expensive and it will take couple of hours to fix it . The mechanic never got off his chair to check out my header he just said that he can't do it. He gave me a long story on how his last job with a installing Scion xB headers was really hard to do. Well, spoke too soon about these guys. A week after getting my clutch done here, I started having electrical problems, my instrument panel went completely dead and my truck slowly petered out and stopped running. I know the signs of a bad alternator, and am capable of fixing that myself, so I contacted Danny about purchasing a new alternator from him to install on my own. I performed the repair, seemingly fixed the problem, and the next day my battery was dead. Knowing that there were electrical issues beyond the alternator at this point, I purchased a new battery and tried to call Danny, only to find out they're closed on Saturday. Needing a fix as soon as possible and believing the issue was unrelated to my last repair, I took my truck to JC Auto Electric in Montclair. Upon returning to pick up my truck, the first thing they asked me was if anyone had worked on my transmission lately. I told them yes, someone had indeed. They informed me that a wire harness had been improperly reinstalled and had melted on my exhaust manifold. We're three hundred and sixty dollars deep now, folks. All for one of Danny's employees' mistakes. Upon returning to inform him of this, I was told that this was his staff's incompetence was basically my fault, and that I should have returned to him for the fix even though it seemed totally unrelated and they don't specialize in electrical, and even that the symptoms that I saw with my own two eyes couldn't have possibly happened. Yeah, that's what customers like hearing: what you saw never happened. He said "What do you want me to do about it?", like it's not obvious that I'd like to be reimbursed for his mistake that cost me almost four hundred bucks. Even a partial reimbursement for the parts I was forced to buy for this cutting of corners would have made a huge difference. Let's just say that the nominal price for the labor here was more than offset by the money I had to spend in parts and labor to fix a mistake that supposedly couldn't cause the problems that I saw with my own two eyes. Proceed with caution if you give this guy your business. I thought really highly of him until he pulled this act on me, would drive from my place in LA to see him. No more. read more
