Buyer beware! Learn from my mistakes! Like others, I, too, was approached by a young man who immediately grabbed my wrist as I was walking through Barton Creek Mall, and put a pea-size drop of "something" on it. He pulled me into a chair at his kiosk and started dabbing this stuff around one eye and handed me a mirror a minute later to show the "results." Yes, my left eye had fewer wrinkles. However, in retrospect, I wish I had started screaming as soon as he touched me without asking. Instead, I played "nice" and let him talk me into buying something I wasn't looking for, certainly didn't need, and can't afford. I fell for his sale pitch, spending $350 + tax for this Dermalactives "non-surgical" syringe kit, which came with a "free" spa treatment voucher supposedly worth $400. He dragged me down to the store and tried to get me to schedule a treatment on the spot. By now, I was starting to freak out, not knowing where I was, or who these people were, or what their products were made of. I had never heard of this place. I wanted to do some research first. I refused and left. When I got home, the effects had disappeared. After doing online research about the store, and looking into the ingredients, I had buyers' remorse. I learned that the tightening effects of the silicone-type ingredients are temporary, and long-term effects of many of the chemicals included are unknown. I never opened the product, and when I returned for a full refund 2-days later, that's when I learned about the 20% STOCKING FEE PLUS TAX! This was the same man who sold me the product. He felt badly when I said that really sucked. But there was the fine print on the bottom of the receipt. For my trouble, he gave me another product, a face peeling gel that I also didn't want. I was stuck. The moral of the story is: Runaway or make a scene if a stranger tries to touch you without your permission. If you do make an impulse buy, make sure you know the return policy before you hand over your credit card! I will try to avoid BC Mall in general, because I hate being harassed by kiosk hucksters--and they are everywhere--when all I'm trying to do is walk from Store A to Store B. read more

Had the most unpleasant experience with this "salon". I unfortunately got took for over 8,ooo.oo. In my opinion the product and business is a scam!! It is packaged in plastic and many of the pump bottles were falling apart! I had a very interesting conversation with a so called manager named "Fabio".He told me he would need to talk to the "Legal Dept." To see what kind of discount he could get me since he was not able to make that decision on his own. He then tried to get me to come in on a later date and that he would meet me somewhere in the mall , not at his store. No!!! This store in Barton Creek Mall is totally shady, with aggressive sales tactics. I fell prey. The store is large and what strikes you immediately, empty of customers. There is generally a person outside the store trying to catch your attention by offering small samples of cream. (These store observations have also been noted by other reviewers) Last year, a store manager called Ron sold me a red light gadget called Perfectio for $$$$. She showed me all kinds of before and after photos with wonderful results to remove wrinkles and age spots, and rave online reviews. This is my happy day, she said. She scribbled pricing numbers on a notepad, scratching them off to give me a bargain price, offered me a ton of creams and lotions as well as a year of 6 free facials, but insisting that I buy the product right then to get this deal. As I said, I fell prey. When I got home, I saw that all the positive reviews she was showing me came from the Perfectio company itself. I could have returned the product, but I decided to give it a try. When I went in for my 'free' facials, I was hit with additional aggressive sales tactics. I understood then why there were no customers in the store. They sell their ridiculous products made of crushed pearl creams and ground gold masks (!) at ridiculous prices during the facial visits. By this time Ron was gone and there was a new store manager Christiano. You should run from this guy. He is a veritable bully, complaining after my third facial that I had not bought anything. They had the aesthetician giving me facials (a wonderful person called Cindy) subtly drop a hint that she had heard that the FDA was pulling Perfectio from the market and that there was this better gadget Jupitor that emitted both red AND blue light. When I researched the former statement, I found no truth to it. There is also definitely no truth to the statement that blue light prevents cancer. (BTW, most of the women getting facials I encountered during my visits are older, and I suspect more vulnerable to aggressive sales pitches.) Then on the day of my last facial, Christiano tried to bully me into buying Jupitor, with the same tactics used by Ron - 'this is my happy day', notepad with big numbers written and scratched, getting progressively smaller until unbelievable 'deal' was reached, promises of creams and facials. I said I already had the red light one that was not showing the promised results, to which he said well we now know that Perfectio helps only 30%! If that is true, should I not get 70% of my money back?! Look, Jupitor gets warm instantly, but Perfectio takes a whole minute he said. Really, a minute is worth more $$$$? But I didn't want to engage with the creep. When he saw that I was not buying, he got up in disgust and walked rudely away. I literally ran out of the mall and away from the store. They are apparently opening another store in the Domain. All I can say is - be warned. When I see the few positive Yelp reviews, I have to wonder if they are planted by the store. read more

I took 2 computers to the Apple Store at the Barton Creek Mall in Austin. They asked me to go to my cell phone carrier store located in another area in the mall. As I headed that way a man grabbed me by the hand and said:​ "you a very beautiful woman, but look what I can do to your beautiful eyes to bring back youth". Suddenly I found myself in a chair and he was applying a product called celestolite cosmic wrinkle plumper (I think). I will say my left eye looked better after the product went on. Then he put something on my hands and it took the appearance of age spots and redness out. I was very busy so I kept telling him I was sure these were good products, but I had to go before Apple closed with my computers. He said I will give this product to you for $450.00. It costs $995.00. I said "No because my daughter knows about all beauty​ products and I must talk to her. He said this was the only day/the ​only moment and he would then add in the product he put on my hands made by Hermetise. He called the product one thing and when I got home with it even though it is by Hermetise, it is a collagen peeling mask (not what he said he was putting on me) and I see it is no longer made. The Celestolite cosmic wrinkle creme is $995.00 but I have not opened it nor the Hermetise peeling mask. The reason is; He finally said I will give you both for $399.00 and we can go to the spa and get you set up for a free consultation. I had been looking at​ some other products for my face here and there, so I bought the products. I was very tired, in a daze from a recent death in my family. The man said he was from Italy and he spoke so very fast I found myself following him to the Spa to make a future free consultation. When I arrived he left and another man at the spa said "now how will you be paying" and I said,​ "I am just going to write you a check and I am really​ tired and anxious and I need to go". I asked them who to make the check out to and they said to ​make it out to Forever Us, Inc. I said why is this spa named Tresor Rare and you are making me make my check to this name​?​ Someone mumbled something. I began to get an odd feeling but I thought I'll take these home and see what my daughter and her professional consultants thought. The man who took my check then said:​ "Let me go see when we can get your consultation". He then returned acting excited that I could have my free consultation that moment - that the expert was in and could see me. At this point I was so worn​​ out, I figured maybe I can lay down in a chair and relax for 30 minutes before Apple closed. A man came in and spoke to me briefly about products that would be used on me and then about ten minutes later a woman came in. She began talking of the products and what they do. She talked very fast and I did not hear everything she said, but after she talked she put a warm mix of what she said were Tresor Rare BX Collection products (with stem cells) on one side of my face down to my neck. We waited about 20 minutes. I will tell you my skin did look 20 years younger. She went on to explain the products she had used could be done at the spa and some at home and all I heard was to get started she would need $29,500.00. We argued over prices, my state of mind after a death in my family - she said aren't you important and how you look - you are pretty and this takes 20-25 years off your skin. It did, but I didn't have $29,500 to drop and I think she said the $29,500 would last 1-2 years. I never understood when one would quit using the product, if ever. I did see Mariah Carey as a spokesmodel for some skin line​ by Tresor Rare. I told her I am not Mariah Carey and I can't just drop $29,500.00 even though​ I will say this product seems amazing because it has no needles etc. She was very relentless and finally offered​​ me a 4-month​ plan for $1200.00. I felt by then that I would have this 20-year​ younger looking skin for just a few months and then away it would go. I needed to talk to my daughter and husband too. Finally, she did the other side of my face still trying to get me to buy and I finally had to get much more assertive. I left and she gave me her card saying she wanted to help me. This store uses very very aggressive​ sales techniques. If you have $29,500 to drop to try some of these Tresor Rare products I'd try it. If you do, beware you may need to pay $29,500 again for another 1-2 years or more !! If you don't, beware of the kiosk where they sit you down and start working on your​ eyes and then mention going to the spa. I felt traumatized because I was already in a hurry and grieving. If a person just walks into the spa they may have a totally different experience as I was stopped aggressively at the kiosk. I was told the eye creme would last 2 years & given the wrong "free product" so I will go back to the spa to try and find a solution. I was lured in by a sales lady at offering me a sample as I walked by the Tresor Rare store today. The first question that the sales lady asked me was if I used skincare products. I said "no" and she said to me "well are you lazy or do you not have any money?" I said " a little of both" and I laughed it off.....When she magnetically got me in the store she applied an eye cream underneath my eyes and then asked me to look in the mirror. I did notice an improved difference from one eye to the other....She was very very pushy and asked me personal questions about my love life and also about WHAT I had bought at Nordstrum as I was carrying a bag. She said I could get a rich man by using this Luminesse product. She even tried to guess at my marital status. After applying the product she told me I needed the product for my mouth and neck also. I said " you mean I got problems there too?" She also said that I do not listen (another demeaning insult) as I did not give her back the exact instructions as to the products usage. I guess I was too interested in her being from Monacco- she said " the french Riviera baby" and the fact that she spoke 5 languages. She said they take Nordstrum credit cards and asked me to give mine to her... I told her I had to go to the bathroom and walked out of her grip. After I left the store I went into the Nordstrum bathroom and washed the product off my face as it had gotten in my eyelashes and it felt plastic like. Then I realized this lady had really insulted me just for a sale. I reported their store to the Barton Creek Mall manager and also called the cooperate office. No calls back yet. read more

Why would a business that has such a great product be so shady about their pricing? Why aren't the product prices listed and sold at a set price? These are my biggest questions about this store. I have used the products diligently for over 3 months and found them to be very helpful to making my skin look younger. However, I am embarrassed to say how much I paid for these products. The energy in this place is very strange. Please be warned that this is not your regular retail store and be prepared to pay over $1,500 for the cleansing set. Horrible horrible company. The boxes I received with the "products" were wrapped but empty, but they have still insisted that I pay for products I never received. I saved all the packaging for proof but the fact that I "signed" my receipt was used to show that I had received products--but again, there was NOTHING in the boxes. In addition, there was no $500 facial voucher in the bag, which I had been promised. Beware. Be very fucking aware that there is a big scam or some thing like that going on here. PhilRex smells some stanky fishy business here. There are two kiosk's in the mall (and there's one in Lakeline Mall). I know one of them is selling Lionesse products. What's weird is when I came in here I saw the guys from both of the beauty kiosk's in here working. We got sucked in to trying a facial. We were seated and the lady (foreigner with a thick accent. Could be Iranian) starts immediately selling the product. She starts telling us that the treatment is $7500 per year and we'll need to do it for three consecutive years!!! WTF!! Uh "no thanks" says I. She got very pushy and aggressive and even after we both told her three times "no thank you", she continued to push the sale. I should've done the "All American Fuck You", but, I was trying to be nice. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs, cause they are out to suck every fucking dime they can get out of the consumer. Are they Gypsies? Maybe. I am a thirty year old female who just noticed some wrinkles around my eyes and was on the market for some good product to prevent deeper wrinkles. So normally I am a Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom customer and willing to spend $$$on a good product. I always have seen sales people outside the store giving away free samples but I always avoid them because of hard and pushy sales approach. However store looked very nice and upscale which attracted me. I came inside the store and nobody was around to great me. I saw the sales lady name Monica I believe on her phone in the corner so I asked her to give me some information about the product and told her what I was looking for. So she came up to me and offered to try magical non surgical solution called Lionesse which cost $399 only that day and normally $700 which I was willing to spend. I asked her more questions about the product her answers did not satisfy me nor closed the deal. She was poorly informed and educated what she was selling. Then she showed me a picture of herself on her phone with the deep dark circles taken few months ago and she assured that her circles were gone and wrinkles were gone as well however I could notice visible wrinkles which I pointed and said that her wrinkles are still there. Lol. She got very defensive for my comment. So I made my self comfortable on the chair and told her "so sell me this product". Which again she did not have enough information to sell the this magic serum. Anyways later she felt that she wasn't persuading enough so she offered FREE day cream, milk face wash, toner and she said don't tell my boss I will also include make up remover for only $399 cost of Lionesse. Which each item was priced for $149 or $199 sounds like a steal but also red flag. I ended up leaving the store without the purchase. In my opinion when you see someone carrying $2000 purse and asking about your product which should be easy sell and you couldn't close the deal should be a deal breaker for the business. I think managers should train their personal better and educate them more about the product. I wasn't impressed. Therefore am giving one star. read more

I would give TRESOR RARE NO STARS if I could.They are nothing but a high pressure sales company.They tell u they have a product you want deeply reduced because the package was "damaged in shipping" well they brought it out and said I can have for a fraction of the retail price! Funny but the package wasn't damaged at all! Quickly I realized they were a bunch of phonies.I'll bet their products are at best drug store quality.I'll NEVER WALK INTO THAT STORE AGAIN!!!! If you want to spend big bucks on really great skincare products I highly recommend LA MER! Then she makes me feel like my looks are not important to me and very high pressure to purchase. She reduces the price, but don't tell her boss. I still say no, they are very high pressure. I, like most of you, was just walking by their store in Lahania in Maui and the guy stopped me and gave me a cream. Then he took me in the store and put some cream on my eye that did make a big difference. I had to leave so I said to him "now one eye looks great and the other does not". He said some back and I will fix it. But I know they are hard sell so I did not go back. I will say its been a week and the eye area where he put the cream is still great, much tighter than the other eye and noticeable. So, my husband says I should buy some. I think I will go online and maybe buy the product, until I see the price. The cream that he used was $900 for 2.4 ounces!!!!! I could almost get an eye lift for that! I did do some research and found that Amazon (of course) has the same cream for $380, quite a difference in price. I still think that is too high, but I may breakdown and buy it to see if it works. read more

I was walking past the Tresor Rare store at Barton Creek and was stopped by a man called Alonzo. I was in a rush to get home and told him so but he would not let me go without offering a sample of their under eye cream. I only had it under one eye. I was pretty skeptical about the results, but on the way home looked in the mirror and was amazed about how my eye looked! Wrinkles were gone. Looked like the under eye of a 20 year old! I gave them 4 stars because of their pushy tactics. When I say I need to go a salesperson should respect that. Avoid this place at ALL COSTS. The minute that woman outside the store grabs you pull away and RUN! All you have to do is google the name of this AWFUL company and put in "reviews" and you'll see a trail of people who have been ripped off. They've also got plenty of complaints against them logged with the BBB. I didn't know this before I was grabbed from the main thoroughfare of Barton Creek Mall and dragged inside by some girl with a strong foreign accent. She was rude - she was offensive - she was beyond belief. The product she sampled on me was pretty good (the non surgical facelift filler) but when I wanted to take a picture of the box to do my own research before shelling out the $300 she was VERY reluctant to let me. That was my FIRST major red flag. Also when I said I wanted to look up reviews she immediately pulled up the products website and said "here you go - here they all are". Well DUH lady - of course the WEBSITE for the product is going to have good reviews! She was very "shifty" at that point and acting extremely odd and was genuinely trying to prevent me from leaving the store without giving her a REASON why I wasn't prepared to buy there and then! Excuse me but it's none of her damned business why I don't want to buy! Anyway - I've actually read on other reviews from the Las Vegas store that the product that they sample on you is actually DIFFERENT to the product that's in the box!!!! This place is BAD NEWS and I've actually rung into Customer Service at Barton Creek Mall telling them they need to get this store closed down.
