Prior to your visit you fill out a survey to decipher how you would like your massage to focus on. I prefer a firmer massage, but not too intense that it's not enjoyable. Katie was understanding of what I wanted and also receptive to how tense some of my muscles were and adjusted as the massage proceeded. I appreciated how she answered any questions I had during the massage and checked on me periodically to make sure everything was to my liking. The massage was fabulous. Just keep in mind that the oil scalp and neck massage while it feels amazing is going to leave your hair super oily. Be prepared to shower and rinse your hair several times.
