I came in specifically looking for some Miu Mius or Chanel optical glasses. I was helped as soon as I came in the store, the girl who helped me was very friendly and really tried to help me out. Only thing that bothered me is she asked if I wanted to put my bag on the chair while I was looking. Not sure if they do it so you don't steal or because they really want you to be hands free while you try on glasses. I caught it until afterwards otherwise I would have brought it up. The glasses I wanted weren't in stock so they ordered them for me. I told them I needed them expedited, I was told about 2-3 days. I had to call a week later to follow up. When I picked up my glasses, everyone was very friendly and outgoing, which I loved. They get 5 stars because they do have great customer service and I will be back to order more from them! read more

This is the second time I have ordered glasses from Trendy Eyes. Both times I have had issues. The first time I had to send back the progressive lenses because the zone of transition was all off (near vision was essentially non-existent and had to be remade, correctly noting where my pupil sits in my eye. The second time two years later, is even more ridiculous. I ordered 1 pair of progressives with transition lenses, one pair reading glasses and one pair of sunglasses with progressive lenses. The pair of glasses did not include transition lenses so they had to be redone. The pair of sunglasses came back with the reading glasses prescription (not the progressive) and had to be sent back. When the sunglasses came back, the prescription was for distance only. They have to had to send them back a third time to get the progressive lenses done. It has been over six weeks to get this right. These glasses are NOT cheap so I would expect a little extra care and diligence when dealing with my order. read more

I felt extremely welcome inside the store when I walked in. I had come in for a sunglasses repair and Amy was BEYOND helpful. She had a positive attitude, upbeat and eager to help. Because of that, I decided to look around telling her I was interested in a new pair of eye glasses. She asked about my preferences and style I was looking for. She searched all over the store and was incredibly patient with me. It didn't take long until she found the perfect pair and was able to order it right away! Once the frame came in, I went to the store to try them on and I was over the moon in love. She proceeded with the prescription lenses, used my insurance and I paid! Not too long after that, my glasses were ready. I went in again and Amy was there! She was complimentary and also loved the frames on my face. I was a happy camper and was thrilled to have a new pair of frames. I even got a follow up call to ask how my new glasses were and a postcard in the mail! The Dr. for eye examination was excellent , Corrected my eye glass prescription and best of all , she took the time to explain to me what was going on with my eyesight especially with my contact lenses ( as I really could not see properly ) and what my options are. I began seeing Dr. Briggs last year and will never look back. She's sharp, thorough and personable. Diagnostic equipment is up-to-the-minute and top-of-the-line. Last year during my glasses exam she brought a potentially serious condition to my attention that my previous optometrist of 20+ years had never mentioned! She recommended I see an ophthalmologist asap. This year I had my first contact lenses exam with her. As I'm about to run out of lenses, after getting my prescription sorted, she generously gave me a more than adequate supply of complimentary trial lenses to get me through until my order arrives. The selection of GORGEOUS eyewear is AMAZING!! They have offerings I've never seen elsewhere in the South Bay. No need to fight traffic up to LA for top quality specs or shades. Stock numbers literally in the thousands. My mom and I came all the way down from Santa Clarita due to hearing about how good this business' customer service was. We viewed some frames, and, despite how many cases of frames they have, patterns just kind of repeated. The only variety they had was the name of the brands. Another thing that wasn't pleasant was that we weren't greeted at all. Staff didn't even have the decency to say "We'll be with you in a minute." Nothing!! That was such a disappointment.
