Great, Friendly service. Went there as a new rider not really knowing anything about riding shoes. They didn't try to put me in the most expensive shoe. Found me something in my size that was affordable and found the right pedals for me too. Went back a second time to get fitted for a domane sl 5 Although they had the sl 6 she did not try to upsale me. They told me the right size I would need put me on the list for when the next one was available. She even took the time to measure my 5 year old daughter for a bike that we will be getting in the next couple months. I would highly recommend this store to everyone especially my friends and family. read more

Have been to this store on many occasions and have gotten nothing but the greatest service. Even when the store was slammed they worked on my bike while I waited and got me going again. I am really loving my Marlin 7 that I purchased from Trek Clermont a few months ago. I came in looking for a completely different bike but after trying it out, it didn't quite "fit" my frame right. Heather helped me out and suggested the Marlin 7. I've been in love with it ever since I took it home! It's perfect for trail riding and for going for a spin around my neighborhood. Last fall, my partner and I decided to purchase bikes. Now I haven't been on a bike since I was a kid, and that was a few years ago. ;-) So I visited several bike shops in the area. The Cycling Hub was the third stop on my adventure. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and the store has a good selection of different types of bikes. We choose a couple of Trek bikes, the Cycling Hub team adjusted the bikes to fit each of us and off we went on our test rides. We purchased the bikes and a bike rack for the car. Fast forward a few months and the bike rack malfunctioned. On the way to an early Saturday morning ride, the rack gave way in the middle of the intersection. One bike mostly fell and was dragged until I could safely stop the car. The high quality Trek bike suffered only cosmetic blemishes on the saddle and handlebar grips. Since The Cycling Hub does repairs, we headed there with the bike. Again we were met with a super helpful staff who fixed the bicycle AND are working with the bike rack manufacturer on a rack replacement. Things that are hard to find today: respect, courtesy, reliability and honesty. Where you can find these? THE CYCLE HUB!!! We have been dealing with them for about 6 years now. First at there old location near Gators and now at there new location on Hancock Road. We purchased our new bike's there awhile back and have been very satisfied with the people that work there and with the service. Had a small mechanical the other day while out ride the trail. Called the shop to make sure they were open to do service on the bike and they said sure, bring it in and we'll look at it. Brought both bike's in for PM's and have my issue fixed and was impressed with the way they set up there shop to deal with the social distancing and the preventive measures to stop the spread of the covid-19 virus. Hand sanitizer at the front door for consumer use. 6 foot spacing marked on the floor too keep you distanced from the employees and also from other customers. The employees were wearing protective masks and gloves and I was also wearing a mask. I felt about as comfortable as i guess i could in that situation. Took the bike out for a ride a couple days later and everything on the bike worked great and was well lubed and sparkling clean. Thanks guys. Great bike shop. read more

They were very prompt doing the bike work and called to let us know what repairs cost. However, we were very disappointed with their integrity. We took used bikes in to be repaired. We knew of a couple of things that needed work, which we mentioned to them and that was all they handled. When we got the bikes back, we found other things mechanically wrong with both. We had asked that they give each a thorough check to see if other things needed fixing. It was obvious that they were only interested in getting the minimal done and getting them back to us regardless if they were ready or safe. read more

I came into the shop about a week ago in search of a case to ship my bike in across the country. I was concerned about my bike getting damaged in transit and wanted to know the best way for it to travel. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get it packed for me and provide me with information on a company that ships bikes. They provided my with the measurements and weight of my packaged bike and I was able to arrange for thr bike to be picked up from the shop. I will definitely be coming here for any of my cycling needs in the future read more

I go here for most of my maintenance that I can not perform myself. Service is quick, VERY honestly priced (they even fixed a brake cable for me that they found a problem with that I had no idea about, for free), and honest employees that don't try to nickle and dime you. Retail cycling stuff is expensive and this is on point with most other retail shops (clothing, parts, etc). Not that big of a variety of goods, but they are pretty trek/bontrager brand loyal, so everything and anything trek/bontrager they will have. Friendly, happy staff and a nice shop. I am consistently a happy customer of theirs. read more

We are from out of town, came here to do a few days of hills training and the West Orange Trail. We had shopped with them once before. One of my pedals broke today. They set me up with a set to use as rental until mine get back from a warranty repair at my local shop. Great, just great accommodating service to save my trip and keep me riding! I searched the SRAM website for authorized service in central Florida after a spill on my bike jumped the chain and appeared to damage the derailleur hanger. We selected "The Cycling Hub" because their website seemed so professional and emphasized service. We were apprehensive about potential repair availability and cost since the bike wash"t purchased in Central Florida. We couldn't have made a better choice! They are very competent, honest and fast! They determined that an adjustment was all that was needed. That was a relief since I thought the derailleur tail had bent so it cost much less than I was concerned it would. We live about an hour away and were delighted that we could leave it at the shop for a few hours and go down the road to Panera Bread for refreshments before taking a hike in beautiful Lake Louisa State Park to have a fun day in the region while repairs were underway. We appreciated their honesty and the fair price and would definitely return for purchase or service in the future. Staff is a pleasure to work with. read more

Excellent customer service. On my first visit one salesman dropped what he was doing to answer all my questions. On the 2nd visit i came in and Bryan helped me select the perfect bike, He even offed to let me borrow his to try out!!! When I finally decided on the right bike he told me when it would be in and ready for pick up, it came in and was set up exactly when he said it would. On a side note while I was there I watched the staff repair and replace a tire for free for a guy who was down on his luck. GREAT STAFF! read more

I was in the market for a new bike and went here for its close location. Upon arrival I was promptly offered assistance and recommendations were made for the type of bike I might like. I am a tall, older, active female and I was directed toward a 22.5 cm men's bike. I test rode it in the parking lot and I let the employee know I was uncomfortable with its size. The seat was lowered and I still had my doubts. Going back into the store, the employee's family member arrived and quickly took the attention away from our discussion. I was not told about the different colors the bike comes in and was not offered the opportunity to test out a female bike just to make a comparison. I was told that the one I tested was the best for me and was the only one available. There was no offer to order one that may have suited me better. I was directed only to those that were on the floor. I also asked if these brand bikes ever go on sale and I was told no. I left without making any purchase. I went to a competitor the next day and was able to test out a female bike, was offered a choice of colors even if it meant ordering it and overall was treated well with no interruptions, much more helpful information and was advised that the men's bike was indeed not the proper size. I made the purchase at the competitor. Fast forward one week later. I go back to this cycling hub store with a family member who has an older bike (16 years old), of the same brand. She asked for an estimate to return it to a safe, rideable condition since it had flat tires and had not been ridden for several years. She was told that it needed 2 new tires and tubes for $80 and that was just for tubes and tires. Tune-up would be extra. (And, by the way, I noticed that the bikes on the floor were on sale.). The tire/tube repair sounded expensive so we went to the same competitor where I purchased my bike and asked for an estimate to repair the tires and refurbish the bike. About 20 minutes later the bike was returned with fully inflated tires and an explanation of what was checked, what bolts were tightened, brakes were fine, tires and tubes were fine and the bike was in excellent shape and ready to ride. When she asked what she owed the salesperson said, "No charge, that's what we do." Need I say more? read more

I was in the market for bikes for my wife and myself. So I started looking around and went to local bike shops in Clermont and Orlando. I visited 7 shops. I knew when I came to The Cycling Hub and met Edgardo there was something very special about this shop. Edgardo was an incredible wealth of knowledge and spent the time answering all my questions about the various different types of bikes from road to mountain and everything in between. He took the time to make sure I was going to invest in the right bikes to match our style of riding. Every business is about 3 things people, processes, and product. They have great people working in this shop that are kind, knowledgable, and an awesome selection of product. They definitely WALK THEIR TALK! I found myself coming back to this store because if I'm being totally honest they deliver the best consumer experience. On one occasion I stopped by and the owner Brian came over and spent an hour with me helping drill down to the right bike for me. When I brought my wife in the owners wife Becky was awesome letting her ride different bikes and explaining the differences. We ended up purchasing 2 bikes from Edgardo a 2014 Trek DS 8.5 for me and a 2014 Trek Pure for my wife. I have started putting miles on my bike and they are awesome about giving you free adjustments for as long as you own your bikes.
