I gave Trek Clermont another chance and they managed to change my original opinion about them around. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Steve in service. He handled my bike with care and he got me squared away. Originally, I was a little concerned about letting someone touch my bike given the price point, but he took great care of it and had it looking better than it did going in there. Which means a lot, because it's a brand new bike. Heather (the store manager) was assisting another customer when I was walking in, but once she became available she greeted me and helped me try on new shoes, as well as check out some new Trek Madone SLR bikes. I had a few questions for her about potentially getting my wife into a new bike and she was extremely helpful answering all of my questions. If you haven't ridden a Trek bike before, I would highly recommend you go and check out Trek of Clermont and go test ride a bike. They have definitely stepped up their customer service since the last time I wrote my review years ago. read more

Found this wonderful bike store on my way to ride one of Floridas many bike trails. Our old bikes had some years on them (more than 20) and some miles, we decided it was time for new bikes. Mine was an old Trek, my wife's was an old Schwinn, mine held up a little better so we decided to upgrade with new Trek Bikes. Trek Bicycle Clermont is superb, wide assortment of bikes for any kind of riding you're looking for. Knowledgeable sales people, we got "Heather" and she was awesome. Heather helped us pick out the perfect bike for our needs, she measured our height to pick the correct frame size bike we needed. The bikes are perfect, exactly what we needed! We're very happy with our purchase at Trek Bicycle Clermont and we're sure you would be too! If you're looking to buy a new bike head over to Trek Bicycle Clermont and they'll fit you in the perfect bike for your needs, you won't be disappointed! Happy trails, happy riding! read more

I am vacationing in Clermont and have been passing by this store for some time now. I've been wanting to stop in and see the store. Mind you I am a novice rider and am not so familiar with the lingo and any other specialty they may offer. Essentially, I wanted to be able to purchase some cycling gear to take back home. Trek had a whole section (wall area) with different options. The best part was having a salesperson actually talk with you and inform you about the options and sizes available. The salespeople were not pushy at all, on the contrary they were very helpful. I also had the opportunity to take a look at their bikes and of course they have prices for all levels but I can definitely see myself coming back and making future purchases. As I walked through the store I also saw they have a maintenance section and other sections to fit any biking need you may have. If you are into cycling and in the area, you may want to give them a try. read more

Excellent services! They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been buying all my bikes and services there.

The people in this store were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. They had a huge inventory of bikes and answered any questions we may have had regarding our Trek bikes. We will definitely go back to this store for a visit when we are in town. read more

Went here for the first time on May 6th, 2020, right after businesses started reopening (per Covina-19 restrictions). Hand sanitizer station available right upon entering, and all employees had face mask. Anyway, brought my road bike in (which I did not purchase from the store) in for a front and rear derailleur adjustment, and to replace a frayed cable. I didn't call ahead, nor did I have any appointment of any kind and I was still in and out the door in twenty minutes. Quick, easy, clean and professional. Will definitely be back and buy my next bike here! read more

Sup my Yelpers! Lemme tell you about this kickass cycling shop here in little ole Clermont. I'll preface my statements by saying; If you're in the market for a new bike, don't bother going anywhere else. Just don't, go directly to the Cycling Hub, pass Go and collect your new bike... The Cycle Hub gets my seal of approval on multiple levels, but mainly for their customer service. They're committed to what they do and to their customers.I visited the store on Sat. July 7th. Long story short I went in to tune up my mountain bike and walked away with a new road bike and several accessories. Now you might say they've got some great sales guys. Truthfully it's because Thomas took the time to get to know my goals for a bike, made recommendations and then showed me a bike he thought would suit my needs. Then he invited me to test drive the bike and it was a done and done deal. He made it an great experience. Crazy friendly and customer service oriented and knowledgeable. He went on to tell me about the store, weekly events, etc. so much so that I can't wait to go out on my first group ride soon. But wait, it gets better...the true test of their customer service came later. I tested the bike out for a few days and noticed the gears weren't shifting as smoothly as I expected. Called up Thomas, went in and was taken care of by another young gentleman whose name escapes me. However, it was the same thing. He listened asked a few pointed questions and quickly mounted the bike and tuned her up. That's what I'm talking about. You've gained a customer for life!! Hit me up and let me know about you're experience which I'm more than certain will be similar. Later peeps... Oh, sorry no pics this time. read more

Awesome staff!! Fast and knowledgeable. They made sure my bike was up to date on a couple of important safety features. Great bike guys!

We made the drive after talking to someone on the phone here. It was well worth the trip. We were able to order the exact bike that we wanted; after a trek chain told us we couldn't even order the bike. Abraham was awesome and thorough. He was very busy but still made the effort to get us all that we needed. Clean store with friendly staff. We will only purchase bikes from here now. read more

The staff at the Trek store was very courteous and made me feel welcome in the store. The repair people provided a thorough explanation of what was needed and what the cost would be to repair my bike. As a beginner biker I really appreciated the attention to detail. The repairs were done in a very timely manner, After the service was complete my bike was performing like new I would highly recommend the Trek Bicycle Store of Clermont to anyone needed service on their bike. read more

Very friendly, very helpful. Knowledgeable. Will return. Great location and reasonable prices.

I have purchased from this store before and felt pretty happy with the customer service the first time, so I went back to purchase my second bike and the two employees I dealt with were not very friendly and one of them was actually pretty rude. read more

Thomas and Abraham were awesome- best rental experience I've had everywhere and I've been renting bikes all over the country. Very friendly and efficient and Thomas very kindly picked up my bike from my hotel. My only regret is that my schedule prevented me from attaching a case of beer to the handlebars for him as he surely deserved it. Great people and I'll certainly be visiting again when I pass through Claremont. read more

Well if first impressions are any indication my simple older bike is in Excellent hands. After looking about for a bike service shop I ended up here at TREX here in Clermont, Florida. What pleasant professional and most importantly thorough business. After a timely evaluation, I was presented with a detailed assessment of their service recommendations and a plan was agreed upon. I should be back on the road this time next week. I am truly impressed and thankful for the help and expert advice I was given. read more

We went in to look at new bikes as well as discuss tuning up our old bikes. We worked with Brian who was very informative and no presssure. He actually advised us that one of our bikes was a good bike and just needed a tune up rather than needing to buy new. We ended up fixing both bikes but plan o come back to purchase a new bike in the next few months. Brian really went out of his way to advise us without a huge sales pitch. We definitely felt that we were guided fairly. We have already recommended this store to others. read more

Great people, served up with the best service we have run into at a bike shop for a very long time. We needed tires for our tandem bike trailer. We called other bike shops nearby and they wanted nothing to do with us. Called Trek Bicycle store and told us to bring it on in. They had two small tires in stock but could not get them to seal around the rim . They were thinking of ordering two different tires, But the following day they managed to get the other tires to seal. All is well. Oh, do not have a Trek? You can purchase one there. Even if you do not have a Trek, just bring what ever you have for full service. Top notch shop. Even if you do not live in Clermont, go see them anyway. Nice staff. read more

On biking trip in central FL, messed up my derailleur and could not shift. One, two, three bike shops have a 2 week out repair. Clermont Trek was recommended by one of the over capacity shops. I called and the friendly gentleman told me to come on over. These guys were fantastic. Diagnosed and fixed my problem within 15 minutes. Talked me through some dirty chain issues. Jeff and Andrew were awesome to this ole GA bicycle rider and got me back in the saddle. No lost seat time. Thank you for saving my trip! read more

Horrible attitudes from the owners and the 2 guys working there. Bashed BMC to try to get me to buy a Gary Fisher.... Practically told me I was foolish to buy a BMC as well as any frameset other than a 54cm regardless of how I felt on it. Snobby, stuck up, don't care attitude. A little sincerity would've been nice. Really got the feeling that they are ALL ABOUT MONEY not making the customer feel welcome. Not a warm inviting place by any means. My wife told me to buy a bike twice as expensive as the one I was looking at ($2800) as long as I did not buy it from there. That says a lot. read more
