BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRICE!!! I have been a professional featured in fuel Tv and several bicycle magazine. A friend told me about this shop. I had a wheel I just needed to know the hub measurements and spoke size for it was a prototype hub. they told me spokes would cost me over $100 for 36 spokes at $3 each! then told me to do the later it would be $20 flat. he told me the size was 188 spoke then atem to charge me $25 at register! well, that size he said did not work so I drove to another shop and he sold me spokes that were $30 for $20 bc he knows me from contests and online videos and he checked the hub again at no cost when I explained the outlandish price gouging but said the correct size was 184... so I simply called the clermont shop to explain and when I called I asked for a manager the bald older man asked who I am and I said I'm just a customer with an issue and he HUNG UP! I called 3 times and call was ignored! I have my receipt and the correct spooks size and will be going back shortly with police to get my money back bc it was rude and unprofessional and what I paid for was incorrect and unreasonable spoke price! they also would not give me the owner's contact . worst service ever read more

Wish there was a lower star rating. Never been treated so badly. Did not get mans name not sure if he was greeting me or not as he did not look at me. Told me to trash my bike and go to Walmart and buy a new one . Then walk away. What a horrible greeting . Would hate to live in his world . I took the bike home and fix it myself . I bought a bike a year ago and I was going downhill riding home and the handlebars started to wobble they told me that was normal with headwind and it's not normal. I've been trying to buy a new bike since September last year to replace a Trek road bike I had for 9 years! It was definitely time for a new one. I have very particular specifications this time. Due to back and neck problems, I was hoping to get a cruiser with 21 or 24 speed. I originally placed an order online from sixthreezero. They kept moving the ship date from November to April to June! I demanded my money back! I understand that it is just hard to get ahold of a bike because of Covid19. But I just didn't like the fact that they charged the card knowing that they don't have it in stock. Anyway, after going to other physical bicycle stores, I could only find up to 7 speed. I went to Trek and the bike that I liked will be in store on July, but I am not allowed to reserve it. Finally, we rushed to Clermont Bicycles 20 mins before closing. Right when I entered, this sweet lady assisted me right away. I couldn't believe that after I told her the specs of the bike that I would like to buy, she just turned and showed me a bike exactly what I wanted, exactly to the size, speed, color and comfort! It made me pause a little bit because I just couldn't believe that after 7 months of waiting, I am taking home a comfortable 24 speed bicycle! I couldn't allow myself to hope, BUT it's true!!! The lady was very knowledgeable about bikes. She was able to recommend the correct size bicycle for my height. She took me to the back and let me test ride it. It was so awesome! I ended up getting a Flourish FS1 in blue. Such a pretty bike and girly just how I like it. LOL! I think that it is a family run business. You can feel it right when you enter. The care and knowledge that they share to help me choose the right products to get, is just extraordinary! The lady carefully help me find the right helmet and make sure that it fitted perfectly. Aside from the bike and helmet, I ended up with a water bottle rack, bike light in front and for the back, bike rack and a matching sturdy bag that securely slides on the rack. The other lady who rang me in was very good as well. She meticulously explained to me how each one cost. Pointed out the frame number that I need to give to the police, just in case it gets stolen. She also told me to come back in 6 weeks to get the bike adjusted free of charge. She also told me to feel free to call them if I have any issues. Bonus part was, the huge German Shepherd, lying on the floor oblivious to the people coming and going and just chillin. LOL! He looked friendly too. The owner told me to feel free to pet him but I'm allergic. I definitely recommend this bike store. They also have the most floor inventory compared to the other ones I've been too. What I was surprised was how amazing this place was. For years, I had no idea it was here till I found it on the Liv website. There were a few things which really stuck out. The amount they cared. They really wanted to make sure I received what I wanted and fit to what I was using it for. They even helped take my bike out to the car. Their knowledge was incredible. After they looked at my bike for a few minutes, they gave me a call and let me know that it was going to cost more in parts than the value of the bicycle. In our era and time when customer service is the only thing to distinguish between great business and one you'd never want to deal with...this was outrageous and extremely unprofessional attitude. Nice small local bike shop. Over the last couple of years I've bought a road bike and accessories. Last purchase was on 06/08/2020 and was for a pair of road bike shoes, pedals and cleats. I wanted to upgrade my bike with pedal cleats. The lady at the counter was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right shoes. For no extra charge, the shop installed the new pedal's and tuned my bike and showed me the proper way to unclip from the pedals. Great place to shop read more

This place goes above and beyond for their customers. They noticed when my bike was delivered (that my husband got me as a gift) that I was to short for it so they called the next day and built me a different bike to fit my size. I just called up to get a price to have my forks replaced and a derailleur hanger and bash guard replaced. I have all the parts. I was told "we only work on the brands we sell". I said even if I have the parts already from the manufacturer? And I was told "yes". So, I have to give it 1 star because I cannot give none. I recently used Clermont Bicycles to replace the tires on my old Sun recumbent trike. What great service. Knowledgeable. Friendly. I brought in one wheel which had a flat tire that they repaired. A week or two later I brought in the other. They were careful to make sure that my two tires matched. Great to have such service locally available. I live in Osceola county. I had shipped my bike across country and needed to get my GIANT mountain bike reassembled and tuned-up. After biking around my new neighborhood and being greeted by a couple of "Well, It's gonna take a while, do you need your bike back today?.".... I thought, "Hm?... I'm wearing bike shorts and sweating...how do you think I got here? Of course I need it today!?" I peddled away frustrated until I happened upon CLERMONT BICYCLE that unbeknownst to me specializes in GIANT's brand bicycles. He greeted me with a welcoming "Hello, how can I help you!" I thought, "Well, there's a fine concept!" The owner was amazingly helpful and his experienced technician very efficient. I had a few questions and needed a tune up...plus, I was looking to add an inexpensive bike computer to my ride. I appreciated the owner's kindness and no-pressure or up-selling attitude. He found out what my needs were and gave me the best two options. Because of that I opted for the midrange bike computer. The service was fast, efficient and I was back on the road in no time. I am writing a review as a dad that frankly never ever writes reviews. I know nothing about bikes, heck I had a Schwinn banana seat in the early 70's. So my son (13) wants to start triathlon competing and my daughter wanted a mountain bike hard tail ( I had to look that up because I am 60). WOW! I am highly professional in customer service my whole life in central Florida. Robert was beyond respectful of my lack of knowledge. Very very rare now days do I not only feel genuine care regarding the safety and correct application of something I know nothing about but he met me with mutual interests to exceed my expectations. He did not hard sell a thing and I love that. He asked what our needs were and guided us to possible rides that were correct for my 13 and 16 year olds. Just the facts with friendly and in a way that did not make us feel any different from a professional rider. I am just a regular dad that knows nothing about bikes and left feeling so good not even getting a bike. It was later over the week that we purchased one LIV for my daughter and then shortly after put $ down on one for my son. Covid was a tough year for us and Christmas was marginal, we were looking for our children current interests and came here to look around. they have never had a new bike, always used. I have bought 2 bicycles from here for my kids and gotten my own mountain bike serviced many times. I am a bit partial as I am a fan of Specialized and with them being a dealer I am more inclined to shop here. What really impressed me was the service that they had there and the owner who came out to chat with me and was very friendly with my kids. My son was getting a Hotrock and really wanted to get a new bike helmet to match. Since we were buying the bike already they gave me a pretty good deal on a helmet. The owner said that if he really likes the helmet he will be more inclined to wear it. We came back about 2 years later to upgrade him to a bigger bicycle from the shop based on the great experience before. I also brought my other son's Hotrock as the pedals were making a clanking noise. They took them apart and fixed whatever was causing the problems free of charge for me. I will be in the market for a new mountain bike shortly and this will be the first place I end up looking. Some of the other bike shops in the area seem to focus heavily on triathlon and road bikes and the mountain bikes are kind of tucked away in a corner. They installed the new seat. This appears to be family run and they were all helpful. I strongly recommend them especially now when all local business has suffered. Absolute thieves. First off the owners bait and switch. They tell and display a price, then at checkout they make excuses beyond tax when they increase the price $500 more than what was shown! This happened to me when inquiring about a bike and coming back later to it. The owner who is a middle eastern male with a language barrier and an accent told me the labeled "brand new" bike needed repairs and adjustments and to bring it back at least 4 more times to help the process. He wanted to charge a membership with it, and this was not included with the price increase. I told the guy straight up that wasn't what was displayed and what he promised the price was in our last conversation before coming in again to buy the bicycle. He kept arguing how he then changed the price but didn't have the chance to change the price tag or "discount" signs. He has a clearance rack but I'm not even sure if that was true, because he wanted to charge me full price for it without the "repairs, warranty, and membership service". He told me the price increase was because the sale was over even if he told me in person it wouldn't end much later than when I came in twice. He was relying on me to forget or shell out the rest of the money which I wasn't going to cave in for. He tried sweet talking me into buying all kinds of gear like a waterbottle, a helmet, expensive brand clothing, etc. in almost a harassing manner. One thing I was looking for was a tire pump. He said a new shipment came in that day and was a "best seller" amongst his frequent customers. It was a black pump and since I'm admittingly new to the hobby, I actually thought he was selling me a good deal because he said he lowered the standard price just for me since I'm new. Upon the bicycle situation, I told him I wasn't going to pay for the bicycle unless he honored the original displayed price upon verbal agreement prior. I told him I was going to pay for it for that price when I got my next paycheck. He said he wasn't going to hold it for me even if I requested so. Then he demanded which way I was going to pay for it even I could even afford it. Like if I was going to ride away and steal his bike or something... this was before he actually took it down and went to the register. I said very bold I was paying in cash. I thought to myself so there wasn't any screwy business with that precisely since it was my first time there and this was a privately owned singular shop. I'm aware this review is scrambled but it's kind of difficult to explain how my experience lead me up to here. After being followed and bickered around the store I was ready to pay since I was able to remind of the truth about the pricing incident and the previous verbal understanding. An old Caucasian woman was cleaning the place when the guy ordered her to start up the computer to activate the register. She said in a wimply weak voice "Yes, master." while avoiding eye contact to the ground which was extremely concerning as well. Finally I was able to complete the sale. I declined everything else besides the pump and didn't have to worry about surprise charges either. Even then I still didn't win. When first discussing the bicycle package, he mentioned I got 3 free tune-ups upon purchase. I had to argue to even get just 1 when actually buying it. Then I got home and looked up the model and price for the black pump online, turns out I was overcharged TWICE the price. I can imagine how much more it would have been if I paid his equivilant of full price for it. I'm glad I was able to get the bike at it's original sale price or I not only would have paid MSRP but above that which he wants to do. I already got scammed the tire pump and almost everything else. There was a sign that conveniently said "no returns or funds accepted" at checkout. This guy knew he was a con artist. I tried to compare prices at the time on Amazon with my phone but didn't have signal, but for whatever reason trusted him. Looking back, I wish I never did business with the guy to begin with. He didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve my hard earned cash with the satisfaction of a sale. Other local places has much better pricings and offers along with it. He didn't even give me a receipt because he was "out of ink." This place is extremely sketch for all listed above. Bottom line, avoid this place like the black plague. It's a bait and switch scam and the owner talks very well to convince you he knows it all and that you're getting a great deal like any other privately owned sham shop. Don't even walk in the store interested. Take your business elsewhere. I had a lot more written where I had to eat 1/4th of this but the app didn't tell me there was a "text limit". read more

I live on the East side of Atlanta and only came across Clermont Bicycles while visiting a friend in the area. I am about as skeptical as one can be when in local bike shops simply because of the crooks and snobs I have found in most bike shops. Clermont... oh, how I wish they were here in Atlanta! One of the problems with many local bike shops is that they do not try to sell you what you need, but they try to sell you the most advanced bike you can afford - even if the bike is a horrible fit for you. I once saw a local bike shop owner try to sell a retired overweight man a $6000 full carbon racer! What he NEEDED was a nice comfortable cruiser with a saddle the size of a lounge chair! I am not a racer. I have no desire to be a racer. I have no need for a $2000 carbon fiber bike. I'm rough on bikes, so a carbon fiber bike would be a STUPID choice for me! I am also constantly in need of small adjustments to my bike since I am so rough on them (bunny hops, curb jumping & occasional off road ventures.) Nasser and crew were more than helpful and FAST in getting my old bike road ready. At no point did they suggest my bike wasn't good enough or that I needed something better. When the subject finally came up (brought up by me and my friend) of me getting a different bike, Nasser didn't suggest the beautiful carbon fiber tri-bike sitting in front of us that was positively drool-worthy. He suggested the exact opposite of what most shops would recommend, but the exact bike that would fit my riding style... a steel frame bike! They're sturdy and easy to repair... perfect for a nutty rider like myself. I was floored... Here's a bike shop owner that actually listened to what I was saying, paid attention to how I ride, and recommended things based on that. Even in that recommendation, there was no pressure. If you want to get ripped off, go somewhere else. If you want what you need, go to Clermont. read more
