Phillip came outside, took a look, grabbed some tools , a set of pedals and a luckily had a used Crank Arm and went to work immediately. He took extra care to lock down everything and I mentioned I had Brake issues, wondering how much a Brake change would cost, he again grabbed his tools and quicklt tightened my Brakes. He only charged me for the pedals and $ 10.00 for labor, clearly well below what was due, No Complaints....Was expecting $50-70 because of what other EBike shops on island quoted. This review is for an annual bike ride that occurs in front of City Hall. I don't know if you can…read morestill call it Tour De Houston as the race start in downtown but then heads south to Clear Lake and back if you were to the 60 mile route. There are shorter routes of 20 and 40 miles as well. It costed about $40 to register but I didn't have a problem with that as the money was going toward the reforestation of Memorial Park. There are designated areas for cars to park depending on whether they had rear bike racks or roof bike racks but I ended up parking on the street as parking is free on Sundays in Downtown Houston. There was alot of headwind heading into Clear Lake and around 3 rest stops on the way there which you can easily use on the way back. The ride heading back into town was great as the tail wind pushed me to up to 30 miles an hour at one point. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to stay at that speed for very long as the police would stop me and everyone else to allow traffic to get through. Overall, it was a great ride that was well organized and supported by lots of volunteers.
