No one is going to expect you are closed on the best day of the week to get things done. As someone who had my car explode from the local Take5 oil change service. My bike is my only form of transportation. That sucks enough. I am busy every day of the week at work. I can't believe I keep doing this. Be closed on Sundays like a normal business or be open everyday. I now have to walk my broken bike back home, again.

Even though it was quite dark by the time we made it to the bat bridge, we were able to see them fluttering against the twilight sky. It was such a calming journey back in the dark, with lights on our boats and the twinkling skyline of Houston in the backdrop. My arms, neck, and back are in so much pain the day after but it was well worth the trip and the effort!

I rented a hybrid bike for a 2 hour rental last Saturday. Actually I reserved it online a few days…read moreearlier which I would recommend for you to do. On the day of my rental the weather was very nice and demand was high. I might not have been able to get mine had I just walked up that day. Online rentals allow you paying half of the rental online and the other half when you pick it up or you can just pay the entire amount online. My 2 hour rental was $18 and when I arrived they were very busy with other customers but I didn't have to wait more than about 5 minutes for my bike to appear. They aired up the tires and gave me a helmet to wear. It was a nice black bike with 21 gears and a storage bag on the front handlebars. After adjusting the seat, I was ready to go. That day my group went 14 miles on the White Oak Bayou bike trail and the bike performed flawlessly. It never missed a gear change. My rental included a 30 minute grace period which I used in its entirety because of a late start and a drink break along the way. When I returned the bike they were very friendly and thanked me for the business. I couldn't have asked for more. They have other types of bikes to rent like cruisers that have much more comfortable seats, kid bikes, bicycles for two, etc. Check out the website. If you come down to Buffalo Bayou Park to bike and need a rental this is where you should come. While the Houston B Cycles are much cheaper (and may not be available to rent) there is a vast difference in quality between their 3 speed heavy bikes and what Bike Barn has to offer.

Mike…read moretook care of us all night by driving safe and keeping us in the loop via text- we told him when we were ready for the next stop and he quickly pulled up. We went all over houston and my only regret was not spending MORE time in the bus. We made our own playlist on our phones to play in the bus, there was a pole, cooler, trash container and lots of cup holders. We will definitely use their service again. Thanks for such a fun night!
