I rented the cool bus for my 35th birthday. I wanted to do something extra special. There were no downsides to this. The owner, Lance, of the Cool Bus is awesome! He really engaged with our party and even dressed in my "80s theme" and made a play list for us and had 80s music pumping when we got in. Some extra perks I thought were cool that no other "limo/bus service" have is: he will help plan your route if you want him to, does not charge miles/gas the charge is all inclusive, you can link your Spotify list to his and you can play your own music or he can do it, pole on Bus was fun, he had a built in cooler, and trash can, cup holders behind your seat, really well kept Bus (no smoking!) which I liked as I am not a smoker and I think it helps keep his bus clean and smelling fresh! Lots room for fun and dancing! Seats were comfy. Colors on Bus were so fun! I really can't say enough good things. I would book again! Even if you have a group get together and you're bar hopping (not even for anything special) I recommend it, you can always split the cost between friends. It's a safe, sober and fun ride, you cannot beat that - that in itself is priceless! Houston is so spread out and my friends live in various areas so it was nice to have the bus tote us around and not get 5 different Uber's. Only downside is it's over, and now I need to think of another reason to book the bus! read more

Highly recommend the Cool Bus to anyone looking for private group transportation in Houston. Lance is so great and will help you plan out the perfect fun night out or be super flexible with any special requests! He also has some great jams for the bus, though you can always plug in your own if you have a playlist you prefer. My friends and I did a night out and just bar hopped and we had such a blast. There's a conveniently-located built-in cooler on the bus where we stored all our booze and I honestly think we had more fun driving around town than actually going to the bars! We had the BEST time on the Cool Bus! We had a really large group with multiple stops along our way for our friend's 30th, and Lance was really great on getting us there quickly as well as being prompt for each departure. He is such a great guy to work with and is truly AMAZING! Everything was easy to book, he had a great playlist going the moment we walked on the bus and everyone just enjoyed themselves. Our experience with Lance and Cool Party Bus Houston was nothing short of incredible! The bus was very well maintained, had plenty of room/AC, and was clean from top to bottom. We love Lance! We've used him the past 2 Christmas's to look at the lights. This past December we had several families with young children. Lance dressed up as Santa and was a huge hit with the kids. He also took us to neighborhoods that had light displays more suitable for children. He was very accommodating and let us stop to get food/drinks and use the restroom. Hands down the best party bus I've ever been on!! We used Cool Bus for a night out and had a BLAST driving through downtown partying and bar hopping. We were able to plug in our own music and bring our own booze on board! The free sunglasses def came in handy the next morning..
