Disappointing. The novelty wears off quick. The lines are a little complicated to use and the staff isn't as available as they should be. The training class is a rushed 8 minutes and just makes things more confusing. Only one place to start out, and it can back up, and it looks like they oversell. Super fun and the blue trails (ages 10+) is very challenging. Green and yellow are great for 7-9 and definitely a lot of fun with lots of climbing and zip lines. Can entertain a wide variety of skill levels. 7-9 year olds should be the adventurous type. I am not sure it's the right age for those that are timid but they definitely won't outgrow it. read more

SO. MUCH. FUN. We came here as a day trip not really knowing what to expect and had the best time! As an aerial park, TreeTop Adventures is basically a ropes obstacles course in the trees! You zip and glide around, completing different "trails" of varying difficulty. You buy tickets for a time slot ahead of time and are allowed 2 hours (plus a little bit of time for training) on their park. Because of the timed entry, we found that we didn't have to wait long on any of the trails even though the park had quite a lot of people at once. The trails vary from yellow to green to black (and double black) in difficulty. I'd definitely recommend trying a yellow or two before challenging yourself with a green (which requires more agility and it higher up). We tried the black at the end and found it incredibly difficult - it felt like a workout and didn't have any zip lines so honestly might not be worth the investment if you just wanna glide around in a more relaxed fashion. Importantly, they did a fantastic job making you feel safe. They have secure professional harnesses that have a locking mechanism that ensures that you're always connected to the safety cord and never at risk of free fall. One of my friends isn't the biggest fan of heights and said she had a great time! read more

I am really impressed with how this adventure park operated. It is essential to purchase your tickets online with a time slot, you get 3 hours at the park, and complete the waiver online. Gloves are required and the ones available for purchase work just fine. The orientation was brief and went through all the different scenarios and the tweezles are color coded so you know the difference when to zip line or not. There are many kids here and the harnesses are foolproof. You have two harnesses and one is always in lock mode. After your first trail, the process becomes easier with switching. I am afraid of heights, but it didn't affect me with how well built the platforms are and knowing the harnesses are secure at all times. It's best to wear clothes where you can secure the pockets for your keys or phone. There is an open storage area and I didn't see any issues with people taking other people's belongings. There are water stations throughout and it is best to have a drink of water before you start your climb. I was comfortable with the green and blues. Overall, it is worth the price and it's a fun activity to do on a nice day! read more

Such a fun and easy to get away from the city and feel like you're far away when this is actually only 20 miles from Boston. It was really well put together and felt so safe. The harnesses/clip combo on each course felt so secure. There were 4 color challenges and so many different courses. Ample parking. Not much food available besides some snacks, but that was enough when I got hungry. We had access for about 3 hours which felt like enough time. Most of them require a mix of balance and upper body strength, but there are a few on the black/double black that are purely upper body strength or full body coordination to jump and catch something and swing. I'm terrified of heights, but I'm glad my friend dragged me along. Went up as high as blue, which I was scared at first, but got the hang of it. We were going to attempt Black, but someone in our party didn't want to do anymore Blue and up. Green/Yellow is perfect for people that are scared of heights and don't want to do anything too strenuous. The site is also well staffed, so if you needed any assistance, just shout staff. I also appreciated one of the staff helping my buddy out because his car died and he had a jumper cable AND knew how to connect it!! My DH and I planned a trip to Providence RI and wanted to find something active to do in the area. TreeTop was about 1/2 hr from Providence. I bought the tickets online and received waivers for both of us to sign. It was easy to find place and they had us watch a safety course while we waited for our group. You have the choice of 3 styles of courses: Beginner, Intermediate and Expert. The higher the degree of difficulty was also higher up in the trees as well. All 3 had a mixture of "elements" or obstacles and 2-3 zip lines per course. In our several hours we completed 2-3 intermediate courses. They were challenging enough for us, I'm 47 and my DH is 37 and we are moderately active. Once you've watched the safety video, you walk over to an area where the staff helps get you into the climbing harness and explains again the locking caliber system and zip line tool. There's a small practice area to play around in before you move up into the trees. The entire time staff members are assisting and guiding folks. While we were up, there was a young man who was scared and had to be assisted down. The staff member was professional, calm and soothing in demeanor. She ensured we stayed on our platform to make sure they had plenty of room to work. She got him down quickly and without making a scene saving his ego. Tips: * get comfortable with the locking caliber system before you get up in the trees in the practice area. * buy some gloves from Lowe's or Home Depot that are somewhat fitted. There are cables you hang onto and it'll help with your grip. You can buy them there..but it's cheaper to just bring ones you have or buy some. * only one person on an obstacle at a time. Your extra weight can throw off the person still on the obstacle. * wear a mask that you can pull down below your chin when you aren't near other people and will still stay up where it belongs when you have to share a platform. * we booked a 5:15 ...there were lots of kids but wasn't overcrowded. When school starts maybe going morning or afternoon would be best. But this time was nice as it was alittle Cooler and as the night wore on less ppl. Shout out to the team. Treetop Adventures is our favorite discovery as a family! It is incredibly fun for adults and kiddos. Our seven year old loves it just as much as we do! Everything is incredibly safe, secure, and FUN! The tweezle system is easy to use and fantastic. The different tiers of courses are great. Our daughter can do the yellows easily and the greens (with a little help, at times). The biggest challenge for her is sometimes being a little too light for the long zip lines. She can do them, but needs a push to help her get across. A few times she ended up a few feet shy. No worries - the staff had taught her what to do (flip around and go hand over hand) so she handled it well. One time, she got stuck a little too far and one of the fantastic staff members (shout out to Dan!) came and helped her out. The team is incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We have been to TreeTop several times over the years. It has always been a great experience and does not disappoint. My daughter and her friends are old enough to try the black diamond courses with an adult with them. I said I would give it a shot. I knew it would be tough but it was much more difficult than I expected. We struggled a lot right from the beginning. One of her friends needed to get down early (I was ready to get down too). The staff was so nice and accommodating. Her other friend was still on the course by herself and wanted to keep going. A staff member coached her through it. The other courses are great. This was my first time at a rope course. My team and I had a blast! We were able to partake in team building activities and have fun zip lining and on the rope course. It was definitely a work out. Although I brought my own water, it ran out, so it was nice to see they had water throughout the park and cups to fill it up. It was a hot day (94F), so they had wet towels. I'm not sure that's done everyday in the summer, but definitely appreciated! Staff was all really friendly and helpful when you yell "STAFF" if you need assistance. They have port-a-potty restrooms with hand sanatizer for hygiene. I am not a fan of this at all, but when you got to go, you got to go. I will say, they were well maintained and clean (I didn't know that was possible!), so I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite part is that they have a seating area in the middle of the course for observers. So, if you want to take someone and you don't want to do the course yourself, you don't have to! Or if you want someone to go for moral support, but they don't want to do it, it's no problem! It's in the shade, next to water, and someone can hang out and read a book, scroll on their phone, or just observe! They also have cubbies for your items so you don't cary it and accidentally drop it. IMPORTANT: items are only allowed in your pocket if that pocket has a zipper!! Five(5) Stars aren't enough to adequately rate this adventure park, I'd give them a TEN(10) +. The staff was welcoming, friendly, well informed and very safety conscious. Safety was an integral part of the day, the adventure which started with a demonstration of the equipment, followed up with an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the equipment before setting off on your adventure. Let's move on to the good part - the FUN! And trust me there is plenty of it. There are courses for all levels of adventurer's from very basic beginners to advanced climbers and I want to try them all - except for maybe the Double Black Diamond - I'm getting a bit old for that kind of challenge. If climbing, balancing on wobbly obstacles and zip lining is your thing, you HAVE to check out TreeTop adventures. I can't wait to go back The above was my first impression. Because our first visit was cut short due to rain(by a half hour at most) management insisted we take a rain check. We went back yesterday(9/26) and it was better than the first time. I thought this place was outstanding. I came with my two kids who are 7 and 11. I went in thinking that the price was so high, but after going I see why--the place is so well maintained, there is so much equipment to manage, and they have lots of well trained staff to help keep things running safely. I went with my 7 year old, and we were able to do the first level courses together--they were challenging but really fun and my kid felt successful. The 11 year old went off on their own and had a great time doing the more challenging ones, and after watching them on the first course I felt confident that they would be totally safe to do the rest independently. The staff really make the place so fun--everyone was so kind and helpful, and if we didn't understand how to do something at first they explained things in a really great way to help us figure it out. My almost-10-year-old daughter and I have been going to TreeTop Adventures since she was 7, and we have always had a fantastic experience. There are a lot of courses, and all of them are built under plenty of tree cover, so it's cool and comfortable even on the sunniest days. The entire structure is supported by the trees themselves, so it's relatively stable compared to other high-ropes attractions' free-standing structures. Plus, there are so many enormous (and enormously-fulfilling!) zip lines on the blue-level courses, more than any other high-ropes attraction we've been to. The staff are fantastic! They are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, attentive, friendly, approachable, well organized, and when it comes to rescuing stuck climbers, they are skilled and capable. (We've seen staff members climb up and help people sort out issues with their safety clips.) For the occasional bonus, TreeTop is located within the grounds of the Irish Cultural Center, so if you're there at the right time, you also get to enjoy Irish music while you climb! This by far was the most challenging yet fun thing I've ever done! I love adventures such as class 5 ww rafting and 4-wheeling and this is right up there! It was a day full of many climbs, zips, swings and just pure fun. The staff is well-trained and for younger adults they all acted professionally and were very kind. I am sure it's not easy saying the same instructions over and over, but they never acted annoyed. I will definitely go back in October when it's cooler. Returned after a year to hit the ziplines and nothing much has changed-this place is still awesome! The park hires a lot of college/high school aged people to work and I rarely say this, but there are a lot of really good people that work here, the place is just flat out well run. "Better than Disney!" I took my nephew to TreeTop yesterday, 5/28/20. He is seven. He absolutely LOVED it. Within the first 30 minutes he said it was better than Disney. Regarding social distancing, the staff was very responsible. They kept their distance when needed, kept their masks on and were very professional in ensuring groups remained six feet apart. This was my 4th trip to TreeTop, each time with a different niece or nephew. Every time just as fun as the last and the kids absolutely love it, don't want to leave, and keep asking to go back. This place is awesome! I'm. A fairly strong and athletic person but some of their aeriel obstacles are REALLY challenging! Their set up is also extremely safe and I never felt like I was in danger. The only recommendation I would have is that I wish they had an employee available to help guide the climbers when they are stuck or getting fatigued. Even showing a quick video of "tips and tricks" other than the safety video would be great. I'd definitely go back though!!! read more

Tried the black (hardest) course near the end of our time there and it definitely quite a bit of balance, arm strength, and bravery through fear of heights. This is a fun place with a big range in course difficulties. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and although it was pretty busy when I went, we didn't have to wait too long to get onto routes. They aren't kidding with the difficulty ratings - as a reasonably fit person in my 20s, the intermediate courses were fun and somewhat challenging, while the expert course was extremely challenging and tiring. I'd recommend sticking with intermediate unless you have very good upper body strength. The beginner courses were also doable for kids. Knocking one star because the courses are pretty densely packed, so the starting platform is hectic and it's generally noisy and doesn't feel particularly nature-y. read more
