One tree was dead, the others were showing signs of age and a large root was growing towards the house. That, coupled with overgrown grass/weeds from recent rains was creating a nightmare scenario. Afraid the trees might topple onto our house we decided the time had come to remove the trees and give the yard a haircut. Out of a couple of estimates we received, Espitia's Tree Service answered my quote request in a timely manner, was able to promptly come by to make an assessment and proposal. The yard service was included as well as stump/removal. Alejandro explained the process, the options and time table. He kept us in the loop and I was quickly informed when timing had shifted a bit because a prior project was taking longer than expected. Work was done in a timely manner, the fear of trees toppling over no longer an issue. They removed the stumps and a large root that was growing in the direction of the house. They also hauled away all the leaves and branches and gave me the marungay leaves as I requested so I could give them to friends and neighbors and their price was reasonable, they came on time and finished in the estimated time they gave me. He was able to give me an estimate based on the video I sent. As they were in the area, he gave me a call asking if I had some time today to come by with the crew. They called after their job was done and came by and cut down all of my tall trees. They were really efficient and cleaned up really really well, including taking a pile of leaves (from the palms) that I had left for the next green waste day. Although they were using my green bin to haul green waste out to their trucks, they emptied it all into their trucks and left my bin empty.
