My kids had an absolute blast and got through 2 courses each during the two hour reservation. There was enough challenge and enough fear factor to keep her entertained. My younger one had fun going on the easy ones and again, there was enough of a challenge on the easy ones that she didn't get bored. They are 9 years apart so it happens from time to time. And none of the pictures show all of the 8 available routes to take. There is a mountain "school" which is a crash course in how the systems work so it helps build confidence in the equipment. There are staff easily identified around and offer up encouraging when the fear gets too much. My older one was terrified of the platform but heard a few good words and off she went. Words of advice: Bring a chair. There are a handful of chairs around and certainly not enough if you aren't planning on climbing yourself. I'm too fat and broken to even try. They do have picnic tables but again, I think there are only four. Bring drinks and snacks. They don't have much to offer and it's strenuous activity with altitude and you're going to need it. Bring gloves. I don't mean work gloves our rubber gloves but I saw a lot of people who had blisters at the end of the 2 hour climb. Bring sunblock. It's in the trees but there is tons of sun.

This place is awesome! Our family of four (kids 12 and 10) were challenged and loved the different obstacles. Even though 3 of us are not fond of heights, we were able to enjoy many routes. The safety system is well thought out and super safe! Now that we have gone once, we can't wait to go back and try more! The price is reasonable for the 2 hours you get to work through the routes. Zip lining became a favorite!! You won't be disappointed!!

I can not say enough about this place. I brought 4 kids of varying ages and they all had a blast. The staff could not have been any nicer, helpful, and more accommodating. And we had "interactions" with many of them as some helped get us set up, and some helped my kids get through some of the obstacles. We've actually been on a few courses like this and I'd say this is definitely the best on we've done for the following reasons. #1 It is both a ropes course and ziplining combined. Sometimes you're climbing on things, sometimes you just get to let go and soar. Then you can add this deal where you step off a ledge and have this rope lower you down to the ground. #2 There are a variety of courses you can go on with varying difficulties. Even the "yellow" ones were fun and a little challenging. I didn't get to try out the "blues" or "blacks" but that gives me another reason to return. #3 The staff. I know I mentioned this already, but they were great #4 Safety. They have a lot of redundancy in their safety system and you feel safe going on the obstacles all by yourself. They even recheck everything before you start another course. #5 Location- You're in a beautiful part of Colorado. Actually going between trees. They have this little Ewok hut you even go into for one of the courses. And it's not too far from the city where you have to get a hotel room. All in all, it deserves the 5 stars. You want some fun and adventure for pretty much any age(above 6) then this is the place for you.

Awesome and thank you! The drive from Lakewood was quick and when we arrived, there weren't too many other trekkers to share the course with. That said, the course is huge and even with others filtering in throughout the day, it didn't seem crowded. The course is multi-leveled and offers varying difficulties. Green is the least difficult; blue is moderate and black is the most challenging. These are all aerial challenges and you're harnessed in at all times. Even so, though, this is def a mind game as well as the physical element of each challenge. This is a half day experience and we'd recommend bringing a cooler with lunch with you, so that you can take a break mid day, rest your bones and mind, have some grub and then go again. There aren't any food options at the course itself, but they do welcome outside food. There are several flat lander activities to occupy your time while you have lunch / break and watch others testing their physical and mental capacities above you (corn hole, for example). We had a blast and even ventured to the highest level and completed a few of the challenges there. On the fourth level, I imagine we were 50+ feet high in the sky. The winds were significant. Holy cow. It was all terrifyingly fun! We didn't take many pictures as anything you brought with you on the course was at your own risk. There are cubbies on the ground level to keep your belongings as well as water to refresh you. Staff are peppered everywhere to monitor safety but not intrusive. Definitely take a look at their website. It was so work the $49 regular price and I often see Groupons advertised. Def go!

But Austin was our fearless rafting guide and part-time therapist--who calmed nerves, cracked jokes, and got us paddling in no time. From the very first splash, Austin made us feel safe and slightly more athletic than we actually are. He coached us through the twists and turns of the creek, and somehow convinced our teens that getting absolutely drenched and paddling for their lives was the best day ever. Miracles do exist. We glided through hidden stretches of the creek like pros (or at least like enthusiastic amateurs with great lighting), hollering with joy and soaking up every second of the adventure. Even the "hold on tight!" moments felt like a ride at a theme park--but with better views and less screaming. 10/10 would paddle again. If you're looking for an unforgettable family outing full of laughter, nature, and just the right amount of "we might flip but only if you don't do what Austin says", he's your guide. He's part guide, part hype man, and all-around river legend. Bring snacks or a picnic lunch for after an early morning trip, bring sunscreen (and put it on BEFORE you get a wetsuit. Rent shoes when you check-in ($5/person). Your family will thank you for this adventure (once they stop laughing and wringing out their socks).

Our car broke down on the side of the road and a group of girls were stranded with no help and thus we missed our zipline reservation. It took me a little time to process what happened this past Sunday before writing this review…read more I want to start by saying Tanner, the young man who worked our party, absolutely made the day. He was incredibly helpful with the kids, repeatedly apologized for everything happening (even though none of it was his fault), and remained kind, attentive, and professional the entire time. Tanner is the ONLY reason we managed to have any sort of birthday party at all. We booked the Ultimate Birthday Party package for my son's 7th birthday from 2-4 PM and also added the pizza and drinks package. The day before, I called to confirm everything, including our food order: 2 cheese pizzas, 2 pepperoni pizzas, Sprite, and lemonade for 12 kids. I arrived around 1:35 PM expecting a busy Sunday crowd. When I checked in, I was immediately told our party room would not be available until 3:15 PM -- despite our party being scheduled from 2-4 PM. That meant we would only have the room for the last 45 minutes. I was shocked. The employee at the front desk was kind and explained the manager had overbooked parties. Meanwhile, I was left standing in a packed lobby with decorations, cake, plates, and favor bags with nowhere to set anything up. I eventually asked to speak with the manager. After waiting about 15 minutes, he came over with absolutely no sense of urgency. He was dismissive, condescending, and repeatedly told me the room timing was listed in the "fine print" of the emails. Maybe technically it was, but it's honestly ridiculous to advertise birthday parties without guaranteeing space for the actual party. After offering no real solution, he simply walked away. As guests arrived, Tanner took the kids onto the obstacle course while I grabbed a couple of lobby tables to hold gifts and belongings. Thankfully, because of Tanner, the kids still had fun and had no idea what was happening behind the scenes. We finally got access to the party room around 3:30 PM, leaving only 30 minutes in our reservation, and there was still no pizza. Tanner helped us rush decorations up while the kids were already hungry and thirsty. When I asked about the pizzas, Tanner checked with the manager and came back saying they claimed I never ordered them. That was completely false. I would never host a party for 12 children without food. Tanner apologized again and later informed me they had "just ordered" the pizzas -- at 3:45 PM, with the party ending at 4. The kids were hungry, drinks were running low, and there was still no food. I asked for more time in the room, and once again Tanner had to speak with the manager himself. We were eventually allowed to stay until 4:30 PM and the pizzas were comped. Unfortunately, by then most parents were already preparing to leave because the party was supposed to end at 4. I rushed to cut the cake so the kids could at least sing Happy Birthday and eat something. The pizzas finally arrived at 4:10 PM when only three kids remained. To their credit, they comped the pizzas and gave us free gym-time coupons. I appreciate that gesture, but after the way the manager handled everything, I will never return. I'm honestly shocked I still paid $329 for this experience. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn other parents. Birthday parties are expensive, and your hard-earned money should go to a business that values its customers and knows how to properly manage events. During the entire three hours we were there, the manager never once apologized. The only staff members who showed professionalism or empathy were the younger employees -- especially Tanner. They are lucky to have him. As a business owner myself, I can confidently say the current manager will drive this business into the ground. He was dismissive, incompetent, condescending, and rude from start to finish. Save yourself the stress and book your child's birthday somewhere else.

We did the six-line tour and had a great time. The staff of four was especially attentive to safety and helped us all get through everything from the slow short trainer line through the fast long line that starts from a platform atop a short stairway and runs over a quarter mile across the valley to another platform on a hillside. It was quite exhilerating! I've got another review out there for a ZipLine place that I tried out on Hawaii's big island. Having done experienced that course (including a half-mile zip over a beautiful waterfall) in Honolulu, the Denver course didn't seem quite as scary. That is both because I knew what to expect and also because the harnesses and pulley equipment seem to have improved drastically in the four years since I did my earlier Zip trip. I would also note that the scenery around the Denver Adventures course was actually prettier to look at, even while screaming across a few dozen yards of steel cable. There were a couple kids in our group who were around 10 years old and they had apparently done Zip trips in Costa Rica, Texas, and a few other places. They still seemed thrilled by the Denver course and had a great time. A bit of warning: I had no trouble with the preliminary and between-Zip hiking in Hawaii and that's because the altitude was 200ft above sea level. In contrast, the Denver hiking had me a bit winded and I learned (just before the final Zip) that the altitude was 8,600 feet. The kids and teenagers didn't seem to notice, but we adults clearly felt the altitude -- and the water stations along the route were quite welcome! To their credit, though, the staff appeared to be accustomed to working with all kinds of tourists and didn't make a deal of it at all.

The group size seemed a little too big though. We had some pretty long waits at some of the platforms. I would highly recommend getting the full day pass, early in the morning. Covers the gondola ride ($42!?) and gets you access to everything. Or pay full boat on the zip-line and that gets you access to everything for two days. From the alpine coaster to the Game Creek Zip-line to the nerve racking ropes course, this spot is great. The coaster was a favorite for the entire family, even my son that doesn't like any kind of ride. I think the ability to control the coaster was a big help. The Game Creek zip line was truly incredible. For those that are wavering on the experience, dig deep and do it! Be sure to book in advance and try your best to get the morning slot to avoid potential afternoon weather issues. The views are incredible and the zip lining is exhilarating. I've done zip lining in Maui and this was on par with that experience. Better in that the harness keeps you facing forward and not able to rotate, not as good because there's no ocean view. But the views of the mountains and valleys are a good substitute. Dave and Ryan were incredible guides; encouraging, knowledgeable and hilarious. Safety is the main focus, "they clip, you zip". One zip is just under half a mile (up to 60 mph) and another is over half a mile. And you get to ride a ski lift to the very top of the mountain. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The ropes course is more challenging than it may appear (or we just suck). My daughter and I did the first level up and that was enough for us. It wasn't the height (we've done courses that are 50 feet up), it was the instability of the course, which I guess is the point. Makes it much more challenging but she tapped after the first level. The only disappointment was the tubing. The ride up was more exciting. When you first launch, you're thinking that you're going to plummet down the slide but something with the way the course is set up keeps you from going very fast.
