Solid experience with Stand Up Paddle. We needed to rent additional paddleboard for our group of 6,…read moreso looked them up, reserved one quickly and headed down for a 9 am slot on Saturday. Couldn't have been any easier as was on the water in minutes to meet up with my friends who jump on the lake from the boat ramp. They had free lockers to keep your backpack in + free waterproof bags in case you wanted to take your phone with you or any other valuable. Was a perfect calm morning and Dylan was great helping take the board in once we were done. Glad we chose them as we were sure which part of the lake to rent from or where to go, being from out of town. Sure you might have more islands to paddle around if rented on the Frisco side, but we loved being the only ones around in the late morning and had a great time paddling across to the shore + down and around the first inlet. Couldn't have been happier + 2 hrs gives you a lot more time that you think. Plenty of time. A quick reminder that the rental shack is at the end of the marina after you walk past the public restrooms and other little shops.

They provide wetsuits and water shoes, although your feet are the main thing that gets wet (depending on water conditions). I'd recommend to bring a towel once you get back to the camp for when you change back into your normal clothes. Next time, we'll check out the intermediate portion of the river. The ride down the river included beautiful scenery, hot springs, bald eagles, rock jumps and a lot of history. My six-year-olds had a blast and wanted to stay for more. Due to the recent heavy rainfall and snow melt the rafting seemed more intermediate than beginner but we were fine with that since we had all been rafting before. We all had a lot of fun and Adam let us know we could get a discount for going again since we live in CO- we might try the intermediate in the future Definitely recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath the wetsuit and also bringing a rain jacket - these items saved me! Also recommend bringing water shoes if you own any- (they have some for rent too) since water is very cold and your lower body will get soaked

Which felt off from the beginning. We showed up and had to walk through an ice cream shop to get there. Then the atmosphere seemed childish. Like a sterile arcade. It was not at all what we have come to expect from an ax throwing place. We decided to leave and our security deposit not refunded.

There were 8 of us on the hour and a half ride stopping about halfway to take pictures. I appreciate that they picked horses to match the riders and their different riding levels. For someone who does not ride often this ride was long enough to enjoy but not too long sitting in a saddle. Totally worth every penny.
