Called for a quote to have a tree removed & another pruned at a residence in Waipio Gentry área. I was expecting to leave a vm like normally what happens when you call most small businesses but surprisingly Marcus answered. He was very pleasant easy to talk to asked for photos to see what he was up against. I texted him the photos & within a few days I received his proposal via email...was pleasantly surprised to see that it was much lower than other quotes I got. Decided to schedule the job (3 days later on a Saturday afternoon) it required a 50% deposit up front, no problem there. This was the weekend that had flood advisories for all islands so we scheduled the job barring any major rain. There was no issue with the weather but a slight hiccup...the morning job he had on the day we were scheduled involved more work than was anticipated so Marcus called to say if I wanted, he'd leave that job, finish it another day & honor the job we scheduled. If not he'd come the following Sunday morning. How cool is that ....that "we" were given the choice to make the decision so we went with Sunday..no big deal. Marcus seems very knowledgeable about tree structure and maintaining viability while removing unsightly branches. He and his brother were efficient and very pleasant to work with.
