The worst coloring experience I've ever had. A month ago, I had an appointment in this salon. I've been using the same brand for coloring my hair for more than 9 years. I used to do my hair in another salon in Tacoma. But my colorist went on vacation and her substitute didn't seem to get what I wanted. So, I decided to try another salon. To begin with I asked for a color chart to show exactly what I want. The colorist Sarah (the owner) said that she is "not comfortable" with showing me the color chart. It was surprising for me, but I managed to find a picture of me with the color I wanted on my hair. Then I asked which developer she was going to use. That was very important for me to discuss because there were previous unfortunate cases when colorists used the wrong developer, and I ended up with the "hot roots" and didn't have time to fix that. The colorist was very reluctant to discuss that as well. Then I asked her about the formula she was going to make and again got the same answer that she is "not comfortable" with telling me that. It was so weird! I used to discuss my options with the colorists and know exactly what was being put on my hair. Nobody ever had any issues with that. But I decided to agree with that as well because I really needed to do my hair, and I'd waited for that appointment 2 weeks and I had to pay a nanny to stay with my kid while I was on that appointment. I didn't want to waste that time and money for nothing. In a couple minutes another colorist came to me and said that they were not going to do my hair because they were again "not comfortable" with that. That was unbelievable! It really pissed me off! I demanded an explanation about what was really going on! After some hesitation they told me that they decided that I was a competitor, that I most likely had a license and that I would probably steal their professional secrets! Because I was asking too many questions! I wonder how I was supposed to steal anything if I agreed to not knowing the formula that they were going to use?! That was so outrageous and ridiculous! At the end they threatened me to call police if I didn't leave the salon. Ladies, if you are so afraid of competitors that allow yourself to treat your clients like this, I can assure you that you'll be out of business very soon! read more

WOW! My wife spent considerable time in the hospital and it ruined her hair. It had become a matted knot that was so tight that it hurt just to put her head back. We checked with a couple local places that just shook their heads and said no. That's where the wow comes in! Tre Sorelle Salon offered to try. No less than 5 stylists worked together for 6 hours pulling it out strand by strand! It was tedious and a painstaking, but they refused to give up. These ladies understood that her hair was her identity and were not willing to just shave it off. The staff was friendly and supportive and I could not recommend them higher. read more

Came in for a haircut today with Diana, not knowing what to expect since it was my first time with this salon, but I was blown away! Diana was really nice and professional, understood exactly what I wanted, and delivered stellar results. She even gave me some tips and a product recommendation when I asked how I could better protect my hair, working as a swim instructor in a chlorinated pool. She also explained to me how to use a round brush with a blowdryer since I told her I could never figure out how to do it right. The vibe of the salon overall was also just incredibly professional and well put together, and I felt very welcomed! I will definitely be coming back again, it's really worth it even though it's a little pricier; I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

I've come here twice now for a haircut with Emma as my stylist, my hair is still a work in progress so I'll update my review when Emma has finished working her magic :) First a little about me... I'm a (newly) retired Air Force officer. I used to be perfectly satisfied with the $5 hair cuts I'd get on base 25 years ago. The haircuts would take just a few minutes and I'd be on my way and good to go for at least 8 weeks. After I left active duty and went into the reserves I transitioned to the places like SuperCuts were I was also perfectly happy with my haircuts for about $20 including tip. Then recently a buddy of mine said he had a "hair appointment". I initially thought: "What? Dudes have hair appointments? What's this about?" When I saw his finished haircut I was intrigued - I asked him about it and he gave me the card for this salon. I thought I'd give it a shot and so far I'm glad I did. Emma and Tre Sorelle are a cut above anything like Super Cuts (no pun intended). Instead of something like "our records show you're a # 2 on the sides and a #4 in the back", Emma actually remembered me when I returned for my second haircut month after my first. At that point, my hair had not grown much and she recommended we make that session just a free touch up to clean up the sides and back. My first haircut was $35 plus tip and worth every penny. It was the best my hair had looked in, well, ever. She said to give it three full haircuts for her to achieve her vision as it takes time to shape the growing patterns of my hair, but I can see its heading in the right direction. Emma is super personable and great to talk to during my haircut which also included a shampoo before and rinse afterwards. I also had to reschedule my second haircut the day of due to an unexpected conflict and the salon was totally cool about it and got me in the following Saturday. I'm already looking forward to coming back for my second "full" haircut in a week or two. read more

Went here for the first time today for balayage. Monica did a great job! I showed her a picture of what kind of color and style I wanted and she absolutely nailed it! She was very personable and professional. She knows what she is doing. I absolutely recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a stylist. The staff were all very welcoming as well! I'm the type who does not want to talk nonstop while getting my hair done. I feel like Emma respected that and was comfortable with some silence, still showing eagerness to get to know me as a new customer. I appreciated the balance. I'm not a morning person therefore do zero styling with my hair other than washing and pulling a comb through it. My cut and smoothing treatment (along with after-care shampoo and conditioner) was very expensive but I'm hoping it will last a long time, saving and me time and money. read more

I have had my hair cut and colored twice now by Emma and am super happy with everything about it. I've gotten many compliments on the color. Emma is a good communicator and I trust that I could let her know if I was unhappy with anything or had questions. I've gotten my hair done twice by Monika. Hair color and she's done a great job and it don't take forever to get an appt. I call between a week ahead to a few days ahead and was able to get in with no issues. They're closed Sunday and Mondays and most work the rest of the days during their salon business hours. read more

I went in for the first time on Friday. I was instantly greeted with a friendly smile and offered something to drink. I know I wanted a change with my hair, but didn't know what. Being a new mom and working full time, I usually don't have time to do much for my hair so I wanted something that was easy. Larkin did my hair and he listened to me and gave me some suggestions. I left with a nice low maintenance balayage color and cut, which was a good change that still made me feel comfortable. The overall environment in the salon is nice, clean, and comfortable. The team here is just simply amazing! As a first time customer they made me feel welcome, the atmosphere and the crafts within the salon looks like it came out from Pinterest. Definitely stealing the wall idea! My hairstylist, Larkin, definitely listened on how I wanted my haircut to be done. Halfway through it, Larkin asked Jenn(owner) to step in as to Larkin needed some advise with my bob haircut. I respect how they communicated openly and Jenn gave Larkin some suggestions on how to make my cut look even better. I have been to this salon 3 times now, the first time I was looking for a new hair stylist and I fell in love! Sense then my husband has been seeing Larkin for his hair and I have been seeing Sarah. The second time we came to the salon was to get a touch up and trim for my wedding. At that appointment Sarah and Larkin did a great job for both of us and Sarah's blow out was so good that I didn't have to do much to keep my hair presentable for the whole week leading up to the wedding!!! Today I went for my 3rd appointment and it was really fantastic to see everyone again. AMAZING!! I came in today to have a partial foil. To fix a very bad, and may I say, over priced full foil from a different salon. Lynda M. is fabulous. She listened to what I wanted, and made my hair beautiful. I'm blonde, which can be tricky on getting the right color. Lynda made my blonde hair look natural, and healthy. It's not brassy looking, it doesn't look over processed, and my blonde highlights really pop. I've received several compliments while out and about today. I would highly recommend going here. She made sure what I wanted and made suggestions and confirmed with me before cutting my hair. She reassured me to be honest with her and anything I didn't like can be fixed. I was visiting from California, and was looking for a nice place to come have a basic blow-out. I was scheduled with Grace in the AM, and she greeted me so nicely before bringing me over to discuss the appointment. I did get a questionable look from her for wanting to blow my ringlet curls straight, but like every lady, I get bored with my hair sometimes. She offered to give me a trim (which I terribly needed) and I tried to refuse because of bad experiences with past stylists who cannot cut curly hair. Long story short she reassured me, gave me a really nice cut, and sleek blow-out. Fast forward to a couple days later, I washed my hair - and when it dried my curls still looked wonderful. The salon opened only a month ago but its owners are very talented and have several years experience coloring, cutting, and styling, etc. - complete hair care! I had been seeing them for several years at another salon before they opened their very own. I happily followed them to their new location. The salon itself is lovely and comfortable and provides a warm, welcoming feel. The stylists/owners are not only talented, they are genuinely nice and caring. They each have a good sense of humor which adds to the overall positive experience. They use Bumble and Bumble hair care products and offer them for sale in the salon. I went there for the first time the other day kind of sceptical because I have had many bad experiences with various barbers/salons and was never completely satisfied with any of them. Based on the reviews, I left my stylist of 9 years and tried this salon. Lynda was my stylist. She did an excellent job on my very thick hair. Very happy with the cut and color. Sticker shock however. Use to paying $80.00 for a foil and cut. However this time I have a color I like and a style I can do something with, sometimes cheap isn't the way to go.
