Back again for a long overdue review. I've been getting my hair done with Lacey since 2018 and she continues to go above and beyond! Its hard NOT to relax once you're in her chair. Most recently, Lacey gave me the refresh I so very much needed after going through a rough postpartum as a first time mom. Who knew how much getting your hair done could improve how you're doing mentally and your overall mood. I cant thank Lacey enough for giving me the glow I felt I had lost and for lifting a huge weight off my shoulders simply by doing what she does best. Lacey is one of the best stylists I've ever had. She had me come in first an allergy test before dying my hair, so so helpful for someone as sensitive as I am. I have fragrance allergies and she always remembered and made sure to double check ingredients before washing, conditioning, dying, and styling my hair. I came in for an appointment and they didn't have my appointment scheduled. as soon as I walked in the vibe felt super uncomfortable. They mixed up the dates and then I had to wait, once I was seated it was super awkward with my hairstylist. She made really odd comments and the whole time it just felt like pulling out teeth trying to make small talk with each other. I really wanted to like this experience and I can't say that I did. I asked for a balayage, and as she was doing it, she said that she was doing a "foliage". I was extremely unhappy with my results. even during the hair washing process, she water all down my back. I left crying. Sad to say I wouldn't recommend this to anybody. read more

Really felt bad about this but was told by multiple people I should say something. I went to this salon for a while and began to notice my hair falling out. When I asked my stylist about it she said it was "detoxing" and normal. When I again asked at another appointment I was told to get "blood work done" which I did. I also saw a dermatologist. There was nothing wrong with me and this issue rested entirely on my hair stylist. Then the rest of my hair fell out. Years of hair growth gone. I tried to contact the salon about fixing this issue but radio silence. That said the chairs are rented out so a stylist might be okay. But don't expect any help if things go wrong. I wouldn't risk it. read more

Jess was kind enough to do my daughters hair ....(30) after a long Covid break and having a baby ... she was thrilled to get it done. Jess was very kind and contentious and helped her decide exactly what SHE wanted color and cut.... its hard to get a stylist not to do what they think you need or how they should cut your hair .... They have the best products for sale, which I love, such as Surface (all vegan) and Kevin Murphy(angel wash is to die for) . All the girls there are super friendly and kind. I visited when I was in Washington for vacation and truly regret it. The products they used on me and pressured me into buying caused a blistering rash on my scalp and hairline within an hour or so after I left the salon. It was so bad that I had to interrupt my vacation to go to the emergency room. Now a week later the rash has finally settled down but the skin on my scalp and along my hairline where I had the rash is peeling. My hair is also now very brittle and breaking off and starting to thin because brushing or washing it results in a large number of hairs falling out. As for the expensive Monat products I was pressured into buying, I am having my credit card company do a chargeback.​ read more

Stephanie is exceptional with her craft. She listens and is thoughtful of how you want your style to be. I have a very short cut which sometimes makes stylists nervous but she listens to me and gets it correct every time. She also takes care of my color, which looks natural and keeps me looking young. Been going here for years. Jess, the owner is amazing and I trust her explicitly with my hair. She is a true professional and knows what she is doing. She knows hair! My daughter is a pilot who lives in Texas and specifically flys up here to see Jess. That alone says a lot. And above all Jess is a good person. Stef has been cutting and coloring my hair for years. She is excellent and I trust her completely. If there's something I want to do differently, she easily understands my vision and makes it happen. The salon is decorated very tastefully and has a great vibe to it so it's always a pleasure to be there. Walked into a very glamorous salon with a lot of class and sass:) My gf has been coming here for a year and I was looking for someone new, so she recommended Andrea and we booked an appointment. As you all know finding a stylist can be very difficult and costly, I know first hand as trying to frugal has caused me to have a short chunk of extra side bang from my last haircut:( In saying this, I drive from Tacoma to Auburn to get my hair did! My hair turned out gorgeous!!! I love the color and cut and she has quick hands y'all:) What a difference an experienced colorist has over a newby, I will pay a little extra for the quality. I saw Amy Lee for a haircut and I was very pleased. As soon as I walked in Amy greeted me and I instantly felt comfortable with her. The salon itself is also beautiful. I have always had long hair and wanted a change but was nervous as this would be the shortest I have ever gone. I showed Amy a photo of what I wanted and she actually took the time to look at it and dissect it with me. I normally have bad experiences with stylists who barely look at the photos I give or tell me what I'm asking for wouldn't work for one reason or another then just end up doing whatever they want with my hair. Amy didn't do that. She asked me exactly what I wanted and made it happen. She was very focused and took the time to make sure everything was even and perfect. Kelsey is amazing! She has been doing my hair for many years and I love it every time! Haircuts, highlights, fashion color and styling...she does an excellent job with it all. She has a flexible schedule and will work around your schedule when possible. She recently gave my 3 year old daughter her first haircut and we couldn't have asked for better results. She was very patient with her and made her feel comfortable. My daughter tells everyone about her haircut and she is super happy with it! I asked for a long bob when I went in, and what I got was far from it. After she cut it she styled it, which helped hide the horrible job that was done, after getting home and washing it and straightening it, I realized My hair was uneven all along the back, and the "A line" that I was supposed to get was uneven all around my head, too long in the back, and the layers were backwards and also uneven. It was cut straight across and blunt, there was no point cutting or blending of the hair at all. I asked for layered bangs as well and she simply cut about 2 cm of hair in the front which was a harsh line and obvious change in length. I had to go to go get it fixed by another stylist. I was told the girl who cut my hair was probably fresh out of school, and it was one of the worst hair cuts she has had to fix. I was told my stylist had been cutting hair for 6 years, and now I know that was a lie. If she wasn't comfortable cutting an A line long bob she should have just said so. I will never be returning to this salon, and I will be sure to tell others or simply show them the pictures of what I got when I went in. read more
