My sister and I came here for some much-needed relaxation and a drink while we waited for my daughter and her group of friends to have their prom dinner five minutes away. It wasn't very busy, we were able to get a good table inside, but close enough to the edge of the patio that we could feel the wonderful evening breeze. We each ordered a drink and shared the deviled eggs, which were absolutely to die for! I've never had such a delicious deviled egg, I regret not going back and ordering a second one. We also ordered a simple pizza, absolutely perfect! The crust was nice and thin, and the toppings were evenly distributed. The dining area is nice and spaced out so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of people, it was a very nice relaxing atmosphere, at least at the time that we were there. It's a great place to enjoy some good food, relax, and unwind.

We came here on a Saturday around 1:30. There was some kind of motorcycle or exotic car show at the plaza across the street, but parking wasn't bad. There is a decent amount of street parking all around and a few small parking lots. There is some outside seating and a couple of indoor dining rooms. There was a small line that went pretty quick and you order at the counter. At the counter, you grab your own ice water, utensils, and napkins. It was a really nice day, so they had the garage style doors open. We got the "Extra Fancy" pizza and it was delicious and more than enough for two. The staff was great and checked on us multiple times even though we didn't have a dedicated server

The pizza was quite tasty, but the crust was too crispy for my liking. I know it's flatbread but... it was like a stale cracker. The ingredients tasted good though, I would have liked more sauce on the pizza as well. The staff was nice and the vibe was chill. The food wasn't good enough for me to go back though.

Great service and great atmosphere! We stopped in for a snack and drinks. It was great and we will be coming back to try the pizza!

This new restaurant downtown is a great add to the Boerne scene. We have done take out from here twice and have been extremely happy with each dish we've ordered. The menu is unique and the dishes are full of flavor! In terms of service, both times we've ordered, our food was ready within a reasonable amount of time, 10-15 min, and the servers/wait staff were pleasant and respectful. The restaurant didn't change the great ambiance from the previous owner, and by leaving the garage style doors, the venue really opens up onto Main Street, giving it a 1950's auto worker garage feel in a great way. Bottom line, try the pasta dishes, especially the bolognese or the roasted chicken orecchiette, and don't walk away without ordering the grilled goat cheese sandwich. The pizza is great too especially if you want a little kick!

We have patronized several of Jason Dady's San Antonio restaurants. This includes the original Tre Restaurant formerly on Broadway. Tre Pizzeria in Boerne, Mr. Dady's recent venture, is by far his most casual dining endeavor. The counter service format is complimented by a friendly and helpful staff. The pasta is tasty, and reminds you of other Dady dishes. Unfortunately, the pizza was forgettable. Akin to flatbread, the red sauce lacked flavor, and the cheese added little to the taste. Ironically, skip the pizza at the pizzeria, and dive into the hand pulled mozzarella and pasta. Cheers!

Chef Jason Dady's (Tre Trattoria, Range, Two Bros. BBQ, Jardin) new pizza concept opened unexpectedly during a most conspicuous event: the recent solar eclipse! I was not foolish enough to brave the congested streets of Boerne whilst the small town was besieged by international interlopers of the eclipse-gazing variety, so I waited a week for Boerne to return to some sense of normalcy. Having been a fan of Tre Trattoria on Broadway back in the day, I knew more or less what to expect: house-made mozzarella cheese, fresh pastas, an assortment of antipasti, and Chef Dady's signature cast iron-griddled flatbread pizzas. I also knew in advance that I would love everything on the menu. Tre Pizzeria serves as a more casual extension of Tre Trattoria's culinary vision, offering a vibrant, open-air atmosphere perfect for a relaxed yet delightful experience. I began with the burrata with pear mostarda. The creamy burrata, a fresh Italian cheese with a soft center, melted in my mouth. The accompanying pear mostarda, a sweet and tangy Italian condiment of candied fruit, was a delightful counterpoint, creating an explosion of flavors with every bite. This appetizer is a testament to Dady's commitment to crafting dishes that are simple, plated beautifully, and bursting with flavor. The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the pizzas. Tre Pizzeria specializes in cast iron-griddled flatbread pizzas, resulting in a unique crust that is both crispy and slightly chewy. The "Extra Fancy" flatbread is a must-try. This pizza is a symphony of flavors, featuring paper-thin slices of Italian "salumi" (cured meats), homemade mozzarella, roasted red onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers for a touch of acid. The magic lies in the cast iron griddle. This cooking method imbues the pies with a smoky flavor and cracker-crisp crust unlike any other pizza I've had in San Antonio. Chef Dady's signature dessert, the decadent Nutella X3, is another holdover from Tre Trattoria. I'm glad he brought this dessert over to Tre Pizzeria, as it's been a favorite of mine for over a decade. It's essentially a dense Nutella tart coated in Nutella fudge and a generous scoop of Nutella mousse. With this review, I believe I've used the word "Nutella" more times in a single paragraph than anyone in the history of the written word. Bravo to me! While the food shines at Tre Pizzeria, a misstep occurred with the service. The initial runner brought my entree sans napkins and silverware, requiring a request for these basic necessities. Similarly, the dessert arrived without a fresh fork, with the suggestion to simply reuse the one from my burrata course. I realize the staff are new, but no diner should ever have to request fresh silverware between courses. I overheard several other patrons asking for silverware and napkins, so mine was not an isolated incident. Despite the service issues -- which I would expect management to address immediately should they read this review -- Tre Pizzeria is a welcome addition to Boerne, a town fast becoming a culinary mecca. The combination of Chef Dady's culinary vision, fresh ingredients, and unique cast iron-griddled pizzas makes it a worthy destination. P.S. You have me to thank for this Yelp listing, as I submitted all the details (name, address, website, phone) to Yelp's moderators. You are welcome!

Under the guidance of Chef Keith Kuhn, whose international culinary background informs the menu, Valeria delivers a seasonally evolving selection of dishes that emphasize freshness, quality, and flavor. Though the emphasis is on Italian, the menu veers into other cuisines from Europe. From wood-fired pizzas to fresh seafood and house-made desserts, Valeria has earned its reputation as a rare gem in a town bereft of world-class cuisine. Having dined there numerous times, I could write a tome of a review detailing at least a dozen dishes. Alas, Yelp has imposed a draconian 5,000-character limit, so I am forced to limit my review to several standouts. Valeria's housemade bread selections put other restaurants' bread offerings to shame. The selection varies from visit to visit, but expect a generous portion of organic, warm house-baked breads accompanied by unsalted French butter, a ramekin of sea salt, and a selection of briny olives. True to European tradition, I butter each slice of bread and apply a sprinkling of salt to taste. The spicy meat lovers pizza is a triumph of bold flavors. Topped with a robust combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh jalapeños, Calabrian chilis, a mountain of shredded mozzarella, and a zesty San Marzano tomato sauce, this pizza -- my personal favorite on the menu -- balances heat with depth. The crust, crafted from organic flour, achieves the coveted Neapolitan texture: crisp on the outside, airy within. A smear of San Marzano tomato sauce provides a bright, tangy foundation, while the jalapeños and Calabrian chilis deliver a satisfying kick. The duck confit, easily the best iteration of the dish within 100 miles, exemplifies Valeria's ability to execute rustic European standards with finesse. The Rohan duck leg confit arrives succulent and tender, the meat falling off the bone after hours of slow cooking in its own fat. Paired with duck fat-sautéed potatoes, the dish offers a rich, earthy decadence, complemented by a vibrant red cabbage, beet, and red onion slaw with a dollop of crème fraîche. The interplay of textures -- crisp skin, creamy potatoes, and crunchy slaw -- creates a symphony of contrasts, while the seasoning (a hint of rosemary and thyme) underscores the duck's natural richness. It's a sophisticated yet comforting plate, one that Chef Keith was happy to make for me by special request. Thank you, Chef! The fish and chips reflect Valeria's global influences and commitment to sustainable seafood. Featuring a flaky, wild-caught fish -- haddock, as I recall -- the filets are encased in a light, golden batter that crisps beautifully without becoming greasy. The fries, house-made and twice-cooked for that perfect desiccated crunch, accompany a house-made dill tartar sauce, adding a creamy, tangy counterpoint to the fish's mild sweetness. Sourced from responsibly caught stocks, per Valeria's standards, it's a refined take on a British classic, proving that even familiar comfort food can shine with premium ingredients and careful preparation. The linguine pescatore is a seafood lover's dream, brimming with fresh shellfish and a zesty, robust tomato sauce. The clams, mussels, and shrimp are cooked perfectly (never rubbery), while the linguine arrives al dente. It's a vibrant, rustic plate that had me sweating most gloriously. On one visit, the kitchen inexplicably forgot to include the mussels, an oversight Chef Keith remedied by presenting me with a huge complimentary side dish of the aforementioned bivalves. Serendipity-doo-dah! The warm chocolate sheet cake provides a decadent finale, one that I've savored on many occasions. Served straight from the oven, this cake features a moist, fudgy center with a slightly crisp edge, its deep chocolate flavor derived from high-quality cocoa. Chopped Texas pecans add an extra depth of flavor and texture. It's a comforting yet elegant end to the meal, embodying the restaurant's ethos of quality without pretense, a sweet reminder of why Valeria stands out in Boerne's largely fetid dining landscape. Don't let its unassuming strip mall veneer fool you; this hidden gem offers an intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and a wine list that pairs beautifully with its fare. For those seeking a memorable meal in Boerne, Valeria is the best option by far.

The Calamari was perfectly executed - seasoned well and not overcooked. The meatballs were phenomenal and full of balanced flavor, due in part to the heavenly red sauce they were swimming in. These are a must try! We then enjoyed Ceasar salads before our entrees and really enjoyed the balance and flavor they offered. Simple and delicious. The ambience might not be Old World Italian with a Chianti bottle candle holder on your table, but…read morethe food certainly is. In fact there are two shining stars of Luciano's, food and service. A basket of fresh, hot and soft bread rolls hits the the table almost as soon as we sat down. We had the fried Calamari appetizer for the two of us and it was enough to be a meal by itself. Don't let the underwhelming descriptions on the menu fool you, the Shrimp Luciano comes with 6 super-sized shrimp that are beautiful and lightly encrusted on top of perfectly prepared buttery spaghetti. In order to keep the light crunch of the shrimp from getting soggy, the lemon butter sauce sits on the bottom of the bowl for dipping and sopping as desired. Every dish I saw comes from the kitchen looking "photo ready". Great presentation. What really made this evening pop was our server's attention to our table. Sophia never left a single detail unattended. If she felt our drink was taking too long (which I didn't), she'd apologize and let us know she was going to check on it. Her attention to detail and perfect timing was an absolute complement to the quality of the food. I didn't feel like she was waiting on us, it felt more like we had our own personal representative on staff. Finally, ambience...probably the weakest link of Luciano's, the conversation level is loud enough in the room that you don't feel like you have to whisper for privacy giving the room a lively and family friendly feel. There is background music playing but it's almost non-existent, in fact I had to stop and tilt my head to detect it. Personally I like a little background music and it wouldn't hurt to turn up the volume a notch. Over the long bar is a single screen with muted sound playing an NBA game. Luciano's is not over-priced with great food and great service. I'll be back
