I love Cypress Grille. I went there with a friend for an Easter brunch and the food and service was excellent. They recently lost part of their leased space. You enter from the side of the building now, not on Main Street. read more

Wife and I had a very nice meal here recently. I had the schnitzel and she had the smoked quarter chicken. I modified one of my sides and had whipped potatoes. The service was good. This is a nice Restaraunt and we shared a cozy booth. My wife felt like some of the lighting should be fixed as there were some Mismatched color if lights which point down in various areas like spot lights making them shine in your face. read more

has been some time since I went to Cypress Grille but we decided to try it a couple of days ago, even though there is still some construction going on. It was pretty loud, not just the construction, but the design and the number of people made it so loud that my husband and I could not converse. The food was very good, but the way it was served not so much. The bread and the soup came after the entrées were served most restaurants bring soup first and bread first to the table before the entrées we may come after the construction is complete for dinner to see if that extra space and time of day will make it somewhat quieter. read more

Wow wow wow! We attended the Cypress Restaurant Easter Brunch 2025 and it was soooooo yummy! You have to make a reservation ahead of time to get a spot! The spread was just perfect! They had cold salads, pasta salads, classic sides like eggs, bacon, sausage, charcuterie board, prime rib, smoked turkey, dessert table. Ian absolutely sure I missed a whole bunch of other delicious foods! The wine and the inside decor is all part of the aesthetics here. We are going to make it a tradition by coming by every Easter after church. This place just has the nicest servers and the best quality food. By the way the Thursday lunch special is a must try! Chicken pot pie......it's outta this world delicious w a flaky crust! read more

The staff here is incredible. We received such a warm greeting upon arriving and throughout our meal we were served with a smile. They recommended a delicious bottle of wine that was approximately $150/bottle that was perfect. I had taken some clients here for a welcome dinner and we were pleasantly surprised with the food, service and the lovely ambiance. It was not too loud until a large group of 20 came in a little later. Seems like a good place for larger groups since they can accommodate. The decor is very pleasant with nice long tables in certain spaces for groups and celebrations. The lamb was excellent as well as their fish options. We would certainly come back especially for the service. read more

They don't have a full bar currently but a decent wine list. Calamari appetizer was excellent, not a fan of the Caesar salad. My partner had the beef Wellington which he said was excellent and I had the salmon with lobster ravioli which was excellent. It was pricey and loud. Service was great. read more

Impromptu dinner date and we ended up at cypress grille! It was pricy but delicious! I got the seabass and my husband got the lamb! We really enjoyed the meal and it did not weigh us down! read more

This is a cute place in Boerne with great food, excellent service (very attentive) and a unique atmosphere...thank you Kylie (aka Emma Stone) for making our evening memorable! I had the Steak Diane with twice baked potato and a Tomato gratin; hubby had the ribeye, twice baked potato and mushrooms. Both dishes were outstanding! We shared the Crispy Crab Cakes as an appetizer and the Créme Broülée for dessert. Both were excellent as well! We had a nice California Cabernet, would love to see them carry some Texas wines! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, they have seating for many party sizes from 2 to 6 or 7...a family friendly establishment. Our server mentioned tonight that they have been in business for almost 20 years so they must be doing something right! No parking lot, but street parking was easy for us to find. read more

The food was amazing, the service was excellent... I had the Veal Schnitzel with brown butter spaetzel and a braised red cabbage that was simply amazing!! My BFF had the volcano pork shank (so very tasty and tender - no knife required) with the creamiest melt in your mouth parmesan risotto... it was a difficult choice there were several items that were extremely tempting!! It's a welcoming little venue that is cozy and full of ambience... They also had a great wine list as well!! Bon appetite!! read more

This is the first time we've been since the remodel. They weren't quite done, but everything was still nice and we enjoyed the visit. As always, food and service was great. read more

Loved everything about this place. From the time you walk in you smell smoked meat. Front end staff were very nice. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Ambiance was very comfortable and relaxing. Went during lunch and it got busy but that did not affect service. I do wish they had more on their menu for those who only eat fish and seafood though. They had chicken salad but it would've been nice if they had tuna salad option as well. I would highly recommend eating here. I will be back. read more

We always love grabbing lunch at Cypress Grille. The waitstaff is always friendly and quite attentive with out being bothersome. The atmosphere is usually pretty loud, but the decor is very inviting and we usually ask to sit closer to the kitchen where there are fewer tables. Highly recommend our favorite, Crispy Calamari. The Daily Panini is nice as well. Excellent wine list and the desserts are fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant. Check out their daily specials. read more

I made reservations here for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, and it was our first time dining at this restaurant. We ordered the shank with creamy fettuccine. The pork was cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful. However, the pasta was quite bland and could have benefited from some seasoning or salt. The addition of sweet bell peppers did improve the taste slightly. My husband had the burger, which he described as fine but nothing special. On the other hand, the calamari and ahi tuna we ordered as appetizers were excellent. The service was average. We had to request a refill for our Arnold Palmer, which should have been more attentive. read more

Oh this place reminds me of something from Mad Men the beautiful hard wood floors and the beautiful wood bars and the immaculate tables with the beautiful view from outside make this such a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Food is delicious and fresh and the fries and the ranch are amazing you will never want to buy the bottle stuff again after eating it and the service was excellent. read more

Came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday and for two people who ordered the salmon, no appetizers, drinks or dessert, it was over $100.... Salmon was smaller than my hand and the rice it came with tasted like old rice cooker rice with a piece of butter on top. My friend payed for our meals, but I felt so bad that she paid that much for two bland meals. read more

Excellent place for a date. The service is what makes the difference. The food is also amazing.

The prime rib was supreme! So was the service and atmosphere! A great spot for dinner with family and friends!

Food, service ambiance. It is everything Yelp is terrible at. Made a lasting impression and very personable staff, unlike the cold mechanical and disjointed Yelp system that pushed me to leave this review. read more

This was my first time dining here after hearing such raving reviews. Unfortunately, I will not be able to provide the highest marks as anticipated. To begin with, I was not greeted upon entry into the restaurant. I expected to be met at the door by a hostess but no. The station was completely empty. The good thing is the restaurant is small enough I could walk through and locate my party on my own with ease. The food was overpriced and tasted mediocre at best. I ordered the Steak Diane and found it very underwhelming. You know it's not quite right when you have to ask the server for salt and pepper to season the plate. The steak was covered in a creamy mushroom sauce which disguised the very small portion of meat served. it was also served warm and not hot which is a big no-no for me. On the contrary, the wine selection was good and they offer 40% off bottles on Wednesday night. Although the entree didn't meet expectations, the waiter was great. Overall, Cypress Grille was just OK. It is doubtful I'll return any time soon. read more

Food may have been good, we'll never know because the service was so abysmal we'll drive way out of our way to avoid accidentally going in there again. After being told where we could, and could not sit, we chose a table and then sat there and sat there and sat there while the server laid across the bar and talk to a friend I would've thought we would've been made to feel welcome, but apparently that was above her pay grade. read more

Website says Open Table -- I spent about 10 minutes with the little thing on the screen going round and round, before actually logging into open table and find out that they do not handle this restaurant. Called the restaurant to tell them how frustrated I was that the website said OpenTable and connected me, and nothing would happen. The woman answering the phone seemed to have no idea that open table was listed as the reserving agent. I called directly and got a reservation without a problem . No review yet: we have not yet had dinner. read more

We had reservations for lunch on a Saturday so we were immediately seated when we got to the restaurant. We were waited on by Kelly who mentioned the lunch specials and the Turkey Panini happened to be one of them. It's what I went with while my girlfriends decided to go with the Cobb salad the pulled pork sliders. Our dishes got to our table immediately. The Turkey Panini was very good so I decided to share half of my sandwich with my sister in law and I got one of her sliders. While I enjoyed both, the panini outshone the slider. All together, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Cypress Grille. Kelly was friendly and attentive and the place itself is quite nice. All together, I'm giving it a two thumbs up. read more

This place was hyped by a server at another location who also worked at the Cypress Grille. We cancelled our other reservations and went to the Cypress Grille instead to get the prime rib. The decor and atmosphere was fine, but the food not so much. We split the 16 oz prime rib with sides of mash potatoes. Everything on the plate not hot, my wife sent hers back. We were really disappointed, but did not complain to management; we should have. The service was also disappointing. Nothing like we were led to believe we would receive. That's all I will say and will not be returning. Oh, as I said we were really disappointed, but I reviewed the check the next morning and discovered we were charged $3.00 to split the caesar salad and $6.00 to split the prime rib. C'mon...we dropped $150.00 and got nickle'd and dimed. Definitely will not return. read more

We ate there last night and had the most AMAZING dinner. Just wow!!! I had the marinated chicken pasta dish-- giving it 5 stars... pricey for the very small portion of chicken (sad but true :/) atop the pasta, but gawd was it good-- my partner had the ribeye... was cooked to sweet perfection. The icing on the cake was our wonderfully efficient five (plus!) star, super, friendly server: Glenn Ford (yes, I asked... bc he was THAT good!!). He made our evening very special. Thank you Glenn!! For years we have ordered their delicious Steak Diane. They recently took it off the menu for beef tips in a tomato sauce...,yuk . When I asked the server why they changed, we were told it was easier. This is supposed be one of the higher end restaurants in Boerne and people are willing to pay $45.00+ for the Steak Diane, so why remove such a popular item and replace it with an inferior one? Sorry to say, but Cypress Grill is now near the bottom of our's and several friends list for dinner. I hope they wake up and stop the laziness. They have served it for years! Waiting to hear it is returning.... read more

Was visiting from out of town and stopped in here for dinner on a weeknight. When I first walked in, I thought it was more "bar & grill" vibe and almost walked out. If I hadn't previewed the menu online beforehand, I probably would have. I am so glad I didn't. I was pleasantly surprised when I was led to a large dining room in the back. Absolutely charming. My waitress was attentive and friendly. My request for filtered water was taken care of with a smile and no attitude. She didn't blink when I mentioned a gluten allergy. I had the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and sautéed seasonal veggies. It was wonderful! For dessert I had the creme brûlée. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was a nice way the end a meal. My husband and I visit Boerne regularly because we have family that live here. I am definently bringing him here the next time he is with me. Two thumbs way up! Can't wait to come back. read more

Hubby took me on a lunch date into Boerne proper. Greeted warmly, seated quickly, server came by to take our order. Delicious fresh little rolls served with olive oil! Ordered the chicken sandwich and brisket grilled cheese along with the caprese salad. To top it off I got the key lime pie! Everything was delicious! It was seriously the best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had! Definitely going back! read more

Cypress Grill is always a special experience whenever we've gone to this restaurant. The food selection is a great variety, so there is something for everyone in our party. They offer a reasonable wine corkage fee so we were able to take a special bottle of wine in for our 10th wedding anniversary. This turned a normal dining experience into a personal and very special occasion. The servers are always top notch, which is a huge requirement and expectation when we are choosing an establishment to patronize. Quality customer service is a lost commodity at many places, but Cypress Grille delivers on all counts; ambiance, quality and service. read more
