We were asked if it was our first time and when we said yes we got the run down on the specials and how the drinks work. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Our waiter was on point. We felt so welcome. I got a cheeseburger double, my son got a hamburger and his mom got a ribeye sandwich they had on special. We all loved every bite. And the basket of hand cut fries topped it off. This food was delicious. So worth the trip. It stayed busy while we were there. And I see why. The atmosphere was very welcoming because the staff was. Seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves just being here. This place is pretty out the way but if I'm ever near Fredericksburg again I'll 100% return.

But, if I'm honest, the highlight of my meal was the sweet potato fries. They were nice and crispy. But, what put them over the top was a generous sprinkle of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla powder. That combination was positively addicting. I blindly ate all of them, which is very unusual for me. I normally eat about 6 or 8 fries and give the rest away. I visit my trailer to check on it after major storms and when I haven't camped as much. Plus I go to Pipe Creek to hook it up for trips and bring it back for storage. Schnitzel Box food truck for the event was super good... Jager plate with potatoes, bratwurst with Sauerkraut. Yum! Looks are deceiving at this location. Brewery in a strip mall. But take a walk out back, And Wow! Huge outdoor area in the backyard plus a good size stage for bands. Phone was dying so didn't get a lot of pics to share. But I'll be back for sure!
