Our absolute favorite place to eat when we're in boerne. The food, atmosphere and service are always amazing. Love the vibe!

The Brussel sprouts here were amazing! The portion was pretty large, and I would highly recommend them! My friend enjoyed her sushi roll and both of our cocktails were excellent! The servers were attentive and friendly.

Ummm, excuse me? Who serves an ounce of margarita? This is so bizarre. This is not some tasting of fine whiskey or bourbon. THEY ARE MARGARITAS! And even if they are "craft", it's still a little bit of alcohol with a bunch of juice. You all really couldn't fill a glass when you're charging $24 for this?? Maybe some ice, garnish and a rim job would help me feel like I'm getting my monies worth. You guys can do better.

Overall a good experience. We went for a friends birthday dinner. Had a party of 11. We had a nice long table at back of restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks.

Great food spot, but the service is slow. Stopped-in on a Saturday and the dining room was less than 1/2 full. Initially we were seated in the most directly sun-beamed table and asked to be moved to another high top. Took quite a while for the server to stop by initially. Also, bar drinks came out slowly (beer foam was gone and ice was melted) and waters went empty for awhile. Food was delicious for sure, but took a good amount of time to come out. I'd stop in again in the future, but don't know if this would be a go-to when in Boerne.

First time! Had the Richter Burger, cooked to perfection. Added a Caesar salad lots of fresh sliced Parmesan. My wife enjoyed the panko encrusted cod. My son had the BLAT, par excellence. Very old fashioned decor made us feel nostalgic. Hunter was our waitress and was delightful. Heading home ready for the Saturday Afternoon nap. Thank you!

We came to Boerne for a conference and the after event was at the Richter. All the appetizers were amazing. We always talked about returning to Boerne for a long weekend---so here we are. We started with cocktails. My husband loves Mezcal. They had a Mezcal cocktail on the menu but they offered to make a special Mezcal, off the menu, for him. It was delicious. They decided to add it to the menu. We started with the poached pear salad. Reading the menu, it sounded phenomenal, but eating, it was even better. We hope to re-create this at home. We decided on a pizza, which we had a hard time deciding. We did the Blanca---prosciutto, mozzarella, basil, and garlic ricotta-- also, amazing. The waitress was great at pairing wines with our food. We had watched a show on the Richter with one of the owners that is big into wine. I will say they have an extensive wine list of stuff you don't see everywhere. Which was really nice and they weren't outrageously priced. If you don't drink all your wine, they can cork it and you can walk out with it. We highly recommend all the locations at the Richter and plan to return.

It's been a while since we've been to Boerne for a meal. Today, I made reservations @richtertavern, and brunch was being served. Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had Coffee, and I had the Anti-Scurvy Punch with rum. Dad and I shared the 2-egg Omelette with bacon, ham, mushrooms, and onion, and florentine potatoes. Hubby had the 2-egg Breakfast. Hubby and I shared the Mediterranean Burger. The best part was the ranch chips! Everything was delicious and prices were so reasonable. Jacob took good care of us. We'll have to go back when they have their full menu, which is available from Thursdays to Saturdays.

Almost a month and a half beforehand, I made reservations online, which was quick and easy. For the occasion, they offered a special menu to help streamline ordering. The entrees were $28 and included either a mimosa or specialty drink. My mom and aunt both ordered the Southern Hospitality, which came with eggs, shredded hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, toast, and berry compote. My aunt paired hers with a mimosa while my mom chose a drip coffee. My little cousin had the mini stack pancakes topped with fresh berries and whipped cream. I was looking for a lower-carb option, so although I considered the omelette, most of the included ingredients were not to my liking. Instead, I ordered 2 eggs with added tomato and a side of hollandaise sauce. For my drink, I chose the Sunnycito coffee. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! The presentation of each dish was beautifully curated. I really enjoyed my food overall, though I was not particularly fond of the hollandaise sauce. The flavor was not very enticing to me, and the consistency was a bit too thick. However, the Sunnycito coffee was absolutely superb! I almost ordered another one to-go. It was a beautifully blended, smooth, rich concoction inspired by a café con leche, or "cafecito", a Cuban-style coffee. When I looked over their regular menu beforehand, the drinks were labeled as either hot or iced, and I had only seen the Sunnycito listed hot, which is how it is traditionally prepared. Our wonderful waitress kindly asked if I would prefer it iced, and since I was in the mood for something cold, I happily agreed. I highly recommend this drink! They also add a hint of orange zest, which was such a unique touch and something I had never encountered before in a coffee. Despite how busy the restaurant was, everything seemed to run very smoothly. The staff remained attentive to everyone's needs, and our water glasses were never empty. I regret forgetting our waitress's name, but she was personable, sweet, and attentive throughout the entire experience. Altogether, it made for a very special and memorable Mother's Day celebration. I can't wait to return!

One oddity is there is a ramp leading to a door, but apparently that is not the entrance, at least according to the sign on the door. The entrance has stairs you need to ascend. So much for wheelchair and mobility issue friendly. We were seated quickly. Overall impressions are its clean, and normal restaurant chatter. There is seating inside, as well as outside, and apparently there is an upstairs seating area as well. Seating inside is close together, so this is not the place for conversation that you don't want others to hear. Waited quite a while without any acknowledgment of any kind, no drink order taken, nothing. After our waitress arrived, our drink orders were taken. At this point, since we still haven't received our drinks, I'm going to break from normal and mention the terrible service. I would normally wait until the end but this deserves mentioning. A different waitress approached and asked about our drinks. After another wait, our drinks arrived. Correction, the 2 coffees arrived. Not the Diet Pepsi that was ordered. On the plus side, my wife and daughter rated the coffees a 4.5 and 4, respectively. They did mention they were slightly less happy with the sizes. We finally placed our food order. Upon arrival, the food, fortunately, was excellent. My wife and daughter both rated the crepes 5 out of 5. I would rate the omelette 4.5-4.75. We are hoping the service was a fluke, because we had read good things about Sunny's, and their overall ratings are high. I can say this was one of the worst services I've experienced in quite some time, including fast food establishments. We will try again, and hopefully the service is better. So take from this what you will: Based on food and cost, I would rate Sunny's a 4.25. Factor in the service and I would rate it a 2.5, and wouldn't return. Hopefully our next experience is better.

I love the industrial vibe of the place. It was a rainy Saturday and the place wasn't particularly busy, so the service was good! Our server was friendly and knowledgable about the menu, and the food, while small in portion size (they are tapas, after all) was delicious. We started with the tostadas de chorizo and the house sangria. Both were super tasty. Then we ordered the chistorra (Spanish sausage) and pan con tomate, and finally we shared the albondiga...a giant meatball that was perfection. Can't wait to go back to Boerne and have some more Spanish goodness!

Our friendly young male server suggested a new Portuguese beer that just came out. It comes in a 4-pack, 6.8 oz bottles with convenient pull-tabs & on a bucket of ice. We went for it! Not bitter, light bodied & easy to drink. We savored the ambiance in the outdoor patio as it FINALLY cooled down to the low 70s! We were given water in a carafe and 2 glasses. I'm sensitive to the taste of municipal tap water so I should've asked if it was filtered water? You'll have to ask for ice cubes if you want ice. Our tapas were the scallops ceviche tostadas(2 tortillas holding them) & a flatbread with Serrano jamon, sliced pears, melted brie, onions & drizzled balsamic glaze. Hubs liked it but I thought it was lukewarm & skimpy on the ham. The cheese wasn't gooey & cooled off. Was slightly gamey to me. He loved his scallop ceviche tostada. The restaurant wasn't very occupied but our server said it gets pretty packed in the evening esp. when there's live music. More people came in when we were almost finished eating. We ate outside because they must have just disinfected & mopped the floors because the inside had a super strong chemical smell. Lots of metal tables and chairs in the patio.

Very nice. Our waitress was friendly, and our starter of mozzarella sticks and marinara arrived quickly. I thought they were good, but my wife thought they were excellent. I ordered the pollo alla griglia and my wife ordered the veal parmigiana. For my order, with the vegetables, I would rate it 5 out of 5! Vegetables and the seasoning was amazing! The chicken was excellent, and the lemon butter sauce was incredible! Definitely would order this again! My wife rated her food 4.5 out of 5. She found the veal to be a little salty. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend dining here.

The ambience might not be Old World Italian with a Chianti bottle candle holder on your table, but…read morethe food certainly is. In fact there are two shining stars of Luciano's, food and service. A basket of fresh, hot and soft bread rolls hits the the table almost as soon as we sat down. We had the fried Calamari appetizer for the two of us and it was enough to be a meal by itself. Don't let the underwhelming descriptions on the menu fool you, the Shrimp Luciano comes with 6 super-sized shrimp that are beautiful and lightly encrusted on top of perfectly prepared buttery spaghetti. In order to keep the light crunch of the shrimp from getting soggy, the lemon butter sauce sits on the bottom of the bowl for dipping and sopping as desired. Every dish I saw comes from the kitchen looking "photo ready". Great presentation. What really made this evening pop was our server's attention to our table. Sophia never left a single detail unattended. If she felt our drink was taking too long (which I didn't), she'd apologize and let us know she was going to check on it. Her attention to detail and perfect timing was an absolute complement to the quality of the food. I didn't feel like she was waiting on us, it felt more like we had our own personal representative on staff. Finally, ambience...probably the weakest link of Luciano's, the conversation level is loud enough in the room that you don't feel like you have to whisper for privacy giving the room a lively and family friendly feel. There is background music playing but it's almost non-existent, in fact I had to stop and tilt my head to detect it. Personally I like a little background music and it wouldn't hurt to turn up the volume a notch. Over the long bar is a single screen with muted sound playing an NBA game. Luciano's is not over-priced with great food and great service. I'll be back
