First lemme say the only reason I gave them one star because I finally managed to get a refund. But here we go... So I placed an order for 2 14k gold cap teeth the first week in Feb (2020). When I came down to the store I dealt with a guy named Rome (pretty nice guy). Anyway I told him I needed them by Feb 17th cause I was going out of town. I was told they'd be done in a few days, 7 days max. 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing so I reach out and I was told there was some delay but they should be done in a few days. So I told myself I would just get them when I get back from my trip. Feb 25th I'm back in town and I call to see when I can get my teeth. Not only is my order not done, it was never started because apparently my mold of my teeth got destroyed some how. So Rome offered to meet up with me to take another mold on March 1st. We link up and he takes the mold and and he says they'll be done in a week at the most. March 6th I get a call saying I can pick my teeth up. I get there, not only was the wrong design done on my teeth but one of them didn't fit!!! I was livid and at that point I just left and said call me when you get it right..... And then Covid-19 happened... so of course they close down their stores. I was told since they closed their doors there was no access to the Grillz dept so I had to wait to get my teeth till they opened back up. I asked for a refund but was told no since they had already started the project. So in the midst of a pandemic I said f*ck it, not important, not like I can wear them out anywhere, I'll get them eventually... Fast forward to June 1st, I finally remembered I ordered something from Trax, I reach out to the guy I was working with, no response. So I email the company, about a week later I get a txt from someone named Gage and he asked for my order number and who I was working with b4 the pandemic. He then tells me they guy handling my order recently left the company. Are you f*cking kidding me?!? So the new guy tell me if my molds are done they should be able to get my order done in a few days. I hear from them again a week and a half later and I'm told Grillz production is still on pause and not sure when they will continue so I just have to wait. Again being fed up, I just asked for a refund but this time I was met with no resistance and was told ok, I should see it in 5-10 days. Now I can't can blame them for Covid obviously, but everything that happened b4 and after was totally on them. What's really sad, I was offered no apology, no type of compensation for my troubles even though they already had my business and my money paid in full for the project. My teeth only cost $300 so it feels like they don't give a shit about the little guy. Mind you, like a week and a half ago, I'm watching the main guy from Trax on IG having rappers drive up to the shop and handing them their orders in mask and gloves, ultimate customer service. But I can't get 2 measly gold teeth I been waiting on since February. I thought they would have made good on it since I was so highly inconvenienced but no, not even an apology. But I did get my money back so I guess I have to be grateful for that but honestly that's the least they could do. Honestly from my experience I wouldn't recommend unless you are spending a large amount of money cause they clearly don't care about the little guy. I am obsessed with jewelry and is always looking for the best deals on quality pieces. I stumbled across Trax through Instagram and thought that I would never be able to afford anything from them (they provide jewelry to celebrities) but I was wrong. I checked out their website and found a pair of white gold initial earrings with diamonds for a great price but before I added it to my shopping cart I did my research. Trax not only has a good reputation and website that breaks down literally everything for the customer, they also have an awesome youtube channel dedicating to educating their shoppers about jewelry including the history of it. That is very rare these days. Anyway, after much obsessing I ordered the earrings and they arrived a day late but customer service was patient enough to stick with me on the phone for 20 minutes to figure everything out. My earrings were packaged securely inside a pretty white box and came with certificates inside of a folder. If Trax isn't a respectable business I don't know what is. Had a custom diamond bracelet made here. The diamonds were good quality and the setting itself seemed to be of fairly good quality but when I initially received the bracelet it would not close at all. There was a piece of melted metal on the clasp that prevented it from going all the way into the catch slot. When I inquired I was told the closing mechanism was tested before it was sent to me, not possible. Sent it back to be fixed and a week later I received it back. Now the bracelet closed but the safety latch underneath was missing it's prong so it did absolutely nothing to secure the bracelet closed. When I inquired I was told I was probably not doing it properly?! It's not rocket science. I was not comfortable send it back a third time so I paid a good local jeweler to fix it for $175. Now it's perfect. Also the appraisal I received from Trax states 9.68 TCW but I paid to have an unbiased full testing and appraisal done in Princeton and it came back as 8.57 TCW. I know it's not uncommon for jewelry places to inflate their numbers but it just left me with a bad feeling. Overall diamonds are nice and bracelet looks nice, but it was far from a prefect transaction. I know very little about jewelry so I suppose this could have gone a lot worse. read more

Every time I go to this place I feel like I'm treated like family. I usually deal with Paul or Lou and they are some of the most professional salesmen I have ever dealt with. I later found out that they work directly with the manufacturers and this is one of the reasons why their prices are so much better. The watch came with a warranty and an appraisal. After wearing the watch for 2 years I decided to get another band for it to change the way it looks. I went back to TraxNYC and they gave me an amazing deal on several watch bands and even cleaned by watch as a courtesy. If you have never been to TraxNYC, you are doing yourself a disservice.
